A/N: Well people I think this is the last chapter I’m really dizzy writing all day sitting around and doing nothing else, plus I want people to be able to read this straight through and not have to wait for updates. Well enjoy

Chapter ten:

the celebrations went on a few hour after night fall, but soon ended as the children got tired and their parents ushered them to bed. Sesshomaru, Claudius and their men waited another hour after they saw the last drunk pass out just to be safe then as quiet as a ghost opened the few big patches of wood open throwing ropes down and climbed out. Sesshomaru and Claudius were the first on the ground, Claudius started to walk away, but Sesshomaru grabbed him pulling him back and turning him around to face him.
“Claudius, old friend do this one a favor an don’t tell swine king about Kagome and this queen thing.” Sesshomaru whispered, Claudius smirked at him. And nodded his head, keeping a secret for a friend. None of the average soldiers dare speak to Naraku so they didn’t have to worry about them.
“I knew you cared for her.” He smirked at his friend as Sesshomaru rolled his eyes and ran off in the direction of the castle. Sesshomaru knew if he wanted to get to her in time he’d have to climb the castle walls, so he found where the King would sleep assuming she would be there now that she was the queen and started climbing. The wall to the ledge at the stop was about four stories so if he fell he’d be dead.

Claudius and his men made their way to the gate tower above the large gates, killing all stragglers and guards on the way not to give themselves away just yet, as Claudius got to the top, waving a torch signaling to the army outside the gates wee opening as the quietly made their way to the gates, as soon as the gates started opening they were given away, but he planned on the gates, as big as they were to make a lot of noise. The army filled into the large gate killing any Tokyan, man, woman, child they could find, their jobs was to kill everyone or take them slaves, then light the city on fire, but they didn’t have time to take slaves right now. They had to get control of the city first. Claudius watched from the guard towers, taking down any guards up there with a few of his men. People by now were rushing every which way screaming for their lives, being killed trying to get away.

Sesshomaru got to the fourth level with hardly any problems. A few minor guards, that he had to kick into the nose to knock out as they tried to grab him through windows. He pulled himself up.

“Helen come on we have to go, I know a way out of the city.” Ezmerelda barged into their room, Helen motioned for Souta to hurry as he grabbed his bow and arrows and the sword of Tokyan.

Kagome was running through the palace halls dodging enemy soldiers as she searched for her father or Souta. “SOUTA ” She yelled through the hallways as people bustled pass her trying to get out of the city. “Father ” She yelled as she ran down a hallway, but was met with a loose gallop horse heading straight for her in a narrow hallway, she ran backwards a few steps and ducked into another hall until the horse passed panting. The dived back into the hallway running down it. “SOUTA ”

“KAGOME ” Sesshomaru was running through the outside top gardens looking for Kagome as he pushed passed the crowd of people heading the other way to get out of the city. He grabbed random girls whipping them around thinking they were Kagome. He came to an archway where Tokyan guards saw him, he hide himself against the wall, as the two guards ans through the archway swords raised. He slit one’s throat throwing him on the other as the dead man fell on the other, pinning him to the ground. The other scared with wide eyes pushed the dead man off of him as he looked up at Sesshomaru who crouched over him sword at his throat. “Where’s Kagome? ” He demanded.
“I... I don’t know... Please....Please I have a son.” The guard pleaded for his life.
“Then get him out of Tokyo ” Sesshomaru hissed at the unhelpful guard, than ran through the doorway, coming upon the shrine part of the gardens devoted to the gods. There was a closed in shrine he was running through, he watched as Kagome’s father yelled at the soldiers desecrating the god’s statues, but then had a spear put through him by Naraku. Then Naraku pulled out the spear and went down another hallway. Sesshomaru went to the dying king’s side crouching over him. “Where is Kagome ? ” He demanded.
“I won’t tell you... you... you won’t kill her.” The King struggled, he was dying fast.
“I don’t want to kill her, I want to save her Now hurry where is she? ” He hissed at the dying king grabbing him by the collar, but the king blinked once then dying in his grasp. Sesshomaru dropped the dead king. Rushing passed the dead king out onto the over look of the statue of Apollo.

Kagome came to the statue of Apollo rushing to it and kneeling at it’s feet, staring up into the stone face, as she prayed.
“It’s a little late for prayer, priestess.” Naraku said in her ear making her gasp, her turned her around to face him as he pulled both of them up, he holding her by her neck. And smirked close to her face.

Sesshomaru saw Naraku step behind Kagome and ran to jump the wall to save her.

“This way, down this tunnel is the way out.” Ezmerelda said grasping her son to her as he cried.
“Come Souta.” Helen said grabbing his wrist and started down the tunnel, but Souta pulled back.
“No, I stay here, my father would never leave the city. I can’t abandon him.” HE explained to her as Ezmerelda was ushering people in the tunnel.
“The city has fallen..”
“It doesn’t matter I stay.”
“Then I’ll stay with you.” Helen said hugging him, but he pushed her away.
“No, go. I will see you again in this life or the next, I will see you again my love.” She kissed her and pushed her in the tunnel as he gave his nephew a kiss and his sister in law.
“Souta, Kagome wasn’t in her room, please find her.” Ezmerelda begged him. He nodded then stopped a young man about to go in the tunnel helping an old man.
“Do you know how to use a sword.” The boy nodded. “Good, this is the sword of Tokyo, as long as it is in the hands of a Tokyan, Tokyo has a chance, guard them, and find them a new home.” The boy smiled and nodded as Souta ran away and the two Woman and boy, ran into the tunnel.

Kagome slid a knife out of her sleeve switching so she gripped the dagger in her hand.
“A Tokyan priestess and princess scrubbing my floors during the day and a t night...” Kagome stabbed the knife into Naraku’s throat, and pulled it out letting his drop to the ground dead. Two guards that were with him grabbed her, one holding her arms as the other drew his sword.
“HOLD HER STILL ” On ordered about to kill her, but Sesshomaru came out of no where slitting his throat and stabbing the other in the neck, as she slumped to the ground. He kneeled picking her up.
“Come with me get up.” He whispered to her as she grasped around his neck and turned to see Souta run to the overlook of the great statue area. He string an arrow and drew back his bow aiming for Sesshomaru as he tried to pick Kagome up.
“SOUTA NOOO ” She screamed as he shot Sesshomaru in the heal. Sesshomaru turned pushing Kagome behind him. As Souta strung another arrow. “SOUTA STOP NO ” Kagome yelled, but the arrow was let loose, hitting Sesshomaru in the gut as Souta quickly fired three more as Kagome ran to him trying to stop him. She turned to see Sesshomaru still on his knees, sword raised, like to strike. Kagome ran back to him slumping in front of him, blocking him from Souta. “No.” She whispered to Sesshoamru as he dropped his sword, ripping out all four of the arrow shafts in his gut, and bringing his hands to cup her face.
Sesshomaru tried to calm her. “It’s alright.” He whispered to her. “Shh... it’s alright.” He whispered to her leaning his forehead to hers. He picked up a strand of her hair bringing it to his nose and taking a deep inhale, and smiled. “Like sakura blossoms.”
“No.” She cried quietly whispering as she cupped his face as he did her. He pulled back to look at her sad eyes, as his were starting to glaze over with death. “You gave me peace.... in a lifetime of war.” He whispered to her as he then leaned to her again still cupping her face as she held her cheek to his hold his head their a hand snaking behind resting on his neck as she cried into his neck, his head on top of her’s.
“Kagome come.” Souta encouraged, as he watched his sister. Sesshomaru pulled his head back again as he stared into her soft blue eyes filled with falling tears. Cupping her face, caressing her cheek.
“Go... You must...”
“No, I don’t want to leave you..” She cried as he smiled a small smile at hr love filled his eyes.
“Tokyo has fallen... go.”
“Come.... I know away out.” Souta urged holding his hand out to his sister’s back, urging her to come.
“It’s alright... go.” Sesshomaru whispered, as he gave her a soft, tender, loving kiss on her wet lips from her tears as she lightly kissed him back. He pulled back gently still caressing her face with one hand, and lightly pushing her away with the other. “Go...” He whispered as her brother came and wrapped his arms around her waist pulled her away from him as he climbed the stair half dragging her as she tried to watch her love die, but he stayed kneeled until she couldn’t see him anymore.
Sesshomaru smiled as his eyes glazed over with death as he remembered his love’s face. He then heard soldiers coming and he didn’t have anymore strength as he fell on his back sprawled out seemingly dead.

That was a month ago, with Naraku dead, Claudius was said ruler of Tokyo, but since Kagome was still rightful Queen and ruler, he graciously let her family have it back. He vowed to always protect her as would his country and she vowed the same to him. Life was a pattern now for Kagome. Claudius and all o the other soldiers left weeks ago. No body ever found Sesshomaru’s body, but since the shrine where Apollo’s statue stood is where he fell, said soldiers saw him there dead, burned down, they assumed his body burned with it. Mixing in with the ashes of the gods. Some say the gods made him one and he watches down on Tokyo since his one love still rules here. But Kagome was to stricken with grief, she vowed never to love another and this time she said she wouldn’t break the vow.
“Queen Kagome... Ezmerelda wishes to speak with you.” Kagome was jarred out of her thoughts of her love as she watched from her throne in her throne room as her sister-in-law walked in helping a baby walk, but she let go an the little infant walked a few steps before falling back on his bottom.
“Oh my goodness, he can walk!” Kagome cooed rushing down from her throne to hug Ezmerelda. And then to pick up the little boy who smiled from being picked up.
“I thought I’d show you first, he’s growing so fast.” Ezmerelda smiled at her baby boy making a funny face, making the baby laugh and then both women laugh also.
“Hector would be so proud.” Kagome hugged her sister-in-law again. Ezmerelda gave a sad smile. And then nodded taking her son back.
“Let’s go show your uncle and other aunt little one.” Ezmerelda said making the little boy wave his arm to the queen as Kagome walked back as the y exited the throne room. She slowly dropped the smile, nothing more to smile at, as she shuffled back to her throne slumping in the chair resting her chin on her palm of her hand that had it’s elbow rested on the stone throne armrest.
“Sister! You have a visitor.” Souta said barging in throwing open the ten feet tall double doors and walking around the big pool of water walking hurriedly to the throne and grabbing his sister by the wrist not waiting for her consent, and dragging her out of the throne room. Kagome almost tripping over her robes as she tried grabbing hiking them u and trying not to fall and keep up with her brother. He ran dragged her down the front steps of the palace out into the town the people were gathered on either side of the road holding bowls of flower pedals ready to throw.
“Is there a parade today or something I missed?” Kagome asked her brother angerly as her brother brought her to the middle of the square all of her people smiling at her and whispering behind their hands.
“Yes, there’s someone you’ve missed very much.” Souta said as he flipped her around facing the front gates, but covered her eyes with his hand.
“What are you talking about.” She hissed at her brother.
“Who... not what sister.” Souta chuckled, Kagome could hear a single set of footsteps coming towards her.
“Souta stop talking in code, tell me what’s going on?!” Kagome scolded her brother crossing her arms across her chest. Thefootsteps got very close and the n stop right in front of her.
“If you would use that pretty little head of yours it wouldn’t appear to be a code.” She heard the voice she thought she would never hear again filled with laughter speak to her, from the person directly in front of her. She ripped off Souta’s hands and gazed up with hope.
“Sesshomaru?” She asked, but before he could answer she jumped on him wrapping her legs around his waist, arms around his neck, and silenced him pushing her lips on top of his in a deep passionate, loving kiss.
All the people around her lined the streets roared with cheerfulness, throwing flower pedals and singing, laughing, smiling, dancing. As they watched the queen make-out with the one she loves.

A/N: Don’t you love happy make-out endings?! Sighs! Anyway there you go, no the movie and the story end totally different than that! So go rent ‘TROY’ to see how it really ends and Brad Pitt is so SEXY! My gosh he is! Anyway, this story ended with no name so it will remain nameless! Review to me how you liked or didn’t like it! And I’m not sure about a sequel... here I got an idea vote by reviews if you want a sequel or not! Now if you don’t voted there defiantly won’t be one! Love all my readers! Not in the gross way!
