Hi this is Star. I'm sorry about the delay I really don't have a good excuse. Actually I was planning to avoid this for a little while longer but I have been almost finished for about 10 days. I just finished tonight so bare with me. Pleaz no hate mail. I'll take flamers though. Remember I love you all. For my little sisters Third B-Day NOZOMI HIGH!!!

"Okay class today we will start with the review of Asia minor…" Mr. Muotoko said quickly. "Work in groups if you want… if you don't work individually…"

"Umm… Muotoko-sensei, what are we doing…" Shippo asked while sipping some coffee that Inu Yasha had got for him.

"Oh… I totally forgot about that…" Mutoko said quickly. The whole class did anime falls and sweat dropped. "You and your group must come to the front of the class and present critical information in such a way that we will remember it."

"Like how do you want us to do that?" Kikyo said as she chewed some gum.

"Song, dance, poetry… I don't care… Due next class period… start it now!" Myoga said swiftly as he turned to the door.

"And where are you going yah old geezer?" Inu Yasha asked as he stopped drawing pictures in his notebook to look up.

"I, Lord Inu Yasha, have a date…" Myoga said straightening out his tie.

"You mean your leaving us for a date…" Kagome said and sweat dropped.

"Why yes, Lady Kagome… Is there a problem?" Myoga said turning back around.

"Just wondering when you're gonna get fired and when is your wife gonna find you… and will yah stop calling me Lady Kagome, it makes me feel old!" Kagome said pouting.

"I don't plan to get fired because I don't plan to get caught… If you all keep your mouths shut I can assure you, you won't fail this class." Myoga Muotoko said.

"Are you bribing us flea?" Kikyo said with a gleam in her eyes.

"Hey… yah didn't hear it from me… Bye…" And Myoga raced out the door staring at his watch.

"INU YASHA!" Kikyo said loudly over the class that was now talking extremely loud.

"Oh great…" Inu Yasha muttered, Kagome giggled behind him. "Yeah what is it?!"

"I was wondering if you wanted to partner up with me. Then maybe we could take our project to the next level…" Kikyo said suggestively.

"Umm no… I have a partner already, right Kagome…" Inu Yasha said flashing her, the puppy dog eyes.

"Yeah we became partners like two minutes before you asked," Kagome said deciding to forgive him.

"Whatever wench, Inu Yasha I have dibs on you next class and all night long…" Kikyo said licking her lips.

Kagome let out a soft growl. This made Inu Yasha smirk. "Not tonight (Or ever) though, I promised I would take Kagome to La Rez de Chamir tonight, right Kagome…" Inu Yasha said hoping she would catch on. Kagome face was blank her eyes held surprise. "Nod Kagome and smile, a good `ah huh' might be in order too." Inu Yasha said rolling his eyes.

"Ah huh…" Kagome said while nodding her head, a grin lit up on her face.

La Rez was the place you took you girlfriend to on anniversaries. Not like second and third anniversaries, more like, the first and fifth because it takes a while to save up enough money to go there.

"Umm… Inu Yasha are you serious?" Kagome asked after getting over her initial shock and seeing that Kikyo had given up.

"Yeah, why not? Besides Kikyo will probably go check there to make sure that we went there…"

"That's great Inu Yasha! Pick me up from my dorm at 8 o'clock." Kagome said excitedly while pecking him on the cheek and then going through her World History book and scribbling furiously on her tablet.

"I don't fear death… I fear the flame… it engulfs me… it desires me… to keep me for itself… and out of all the things in the world I fear the flame the most…" Rin said as she grinded her teeth together her forehead held beads of sweat. "Because it can't be controlled…"

"Rin… Rin… Rin!!! Wake up and finish reading the syllabus…" Mr. Kioni said tapping her on the shoulder. "Listen class I know it is early but please sleep in you dorms not in my class…"

"I fear the flame, it destroys all including the jewel of the four souls which she protects… forever…It won't be controlled… He won't be controlled… the son of darkness… wishes for my blood…Akago…"

"Ms. Shinzou did you hear me? Ms. Shinzou?" Mr. Kioni stopped and stared at her.

Rin's eyes were blank as she stood and walked toward the window. "Ms. Shinzou, stop…" Mr. Kioni grabbed her shoulder and pulled away as his palm began to burn.

"He's calling for me…" Rin said as she still headed toward the window. Sesshoumaru stood in front of her. It had taken him awhile but something was definitely wrong. Her body was suddenly engulfed in a blue flame.

"Ashinta mani taneyou Sesshoumaru dani mo jaka ten," (Leave me be Lord Sesshoumaru of the West.) Rin said in the ancient youkai tongue. Sesshoumaru said nothing a stared at her. Her eyes held no sparkle she started toward the window again. Sesshoumaru, in one swift move grabbed her and his arm wrapped around her waist. The flesh off of his right arm began to burn.

"Ashinta mani taneyou, diane mani hajino kuda," (Leave me be, let me go…) Rin growled as he held her to his chest.

"Gomen Rin…" In one swift movement Sesshoumaru pressed a pressure point on her neck and she fell limp into his arms.

"Oh my Mr. Kioni your hand…" Nobunaga said rushing to the front of the class to get the first aid kit.

"That's nothing, look at Sesshoumaru's arm…" A girl in the front of the class exclaimed.

Sesshoumaru's right arm was burnt extremely badly, the skin had peeled off and in some places it was gone and bleeding. To be truthful he couldn't feel anything in his arm which was handing limp at his side as he cradled Rin to his chest.

"I'm going to the nurse… I'm taking Rin with me she has a fever…" Sesshoumaru said not waiting for permission he lifted Rin into his left arm and balanced his way out of the class.

Nobunaga stood up from wrapping up Mr. Kioni's wound. "Go help him… Make sure they get there safely."

"What about you?" Nobunaga questioned as he looked over his bandaging work.

"I have a minor burn but Sesshoumaru's arm is really messed up. I'll go to the nurse after this class." Nobunaga nodded and headed out of the door.

`I guess I better report this incident to Lady Tsuki. I'm sure she will be interested in this event regarding her granddaughter.' Mr. Kioni thought as he told the students their homework assignment.

Miroku sat in the back of his class. It was two minutes before the bell ring and Onigumo was wrapping up his lesson on STD's. Kirara laughed every time Miroku shivered when Onigumo walked by and brushed against him. He was pretty sure that he could get a restraining order out because of all this unwanted contact. Just then…

"All students are to report to the auditorium for a mandatory meeting with the principal… And Lady Kaede, please report to the nurses office we have a code711. Thank you, that is all." The announcement said.

"What's a code 711?" Kirara asked as she started to pack her stuff up.

"I think it is severe tissue damage…" Miroku said after a few seconds. "Man I don't want to go to this meeting…" Miroku said pouting and bending over to get hid bookbag. As he stood up he felt something hard against his back.

"You can always stay with me…" Onigumo said suggestively. Holding a pole while pushing it against Miroku's back.

Miroku jumped over five desks and ran out the door. All the way Kirara laughed swearing she would have to tell Sango about this.

The lights dimmed in the auditorium as the group sat down. "Have any of you seen Rin?" Kagome asked as they moved into their seats.

"No, she was supposed to meet me after first period in the atrium." Ayame said as she took a seat next to Kouga who was already sleeping.

"Come to think of it…" Inu Yasha started.

"Where the hell is my Sessy Inu Yasha?" Kagura said rather loudly into his sensitive ears. She had popped out of nowhere behind him.

"You stupid wench, in the famous words of Cain, `Am I my brother's keeper?' AKA Babysitter!" Inu Yasha scowled.

"I have a pretty good guess where he is…" Miroku offered.

"Where would that be?" Kagura asked quite agitated.

"Well if he is missing and Rin is missing then they might be…" Miroku said with a perverted grin.

Sango slapped him into the floor. "Stupid hentai…"

"You know you love me…" Miroku teased.

"I wouldn't count on it." Kirara and Shippo said in unison.

"You people are so beneath me, I'll find him myself…" And with that she was gone.

"Wow, what a bitch…" Kagome said rubbing Inu Yasha's ears which were flat against his head. A low rumble erupted from his chest.

"Tell me about it. I'll just have to put a cherry bomb in her toilet later…" Ayame said thoughtfully as Totosai came up to the podium.

"Hello students… As most of you may know I'm… I'm… who am I again?" Totosai said looking toward Myoga. "Why am I here?"

Some of the freshmen did anime falls but most of the people just sweat dropped. "You're their principal and you're going over the rules…"

"Oh yeah that's it!" Totosai said with a victorious look on his face. "Here are the rules… I have a couple so you have to bear with me…uhh…"

"Great this is gonna take forever…" Shippo said as he moved slightly. He placed two wads of tissue in Kouga's nose.

"This will be interesting…" Miroku said taking his attention away from Totosai.

"Oh yeah I remember number 1 no profanity…" Totosai said with a grin.

And as if on cue, "WHADAFUCK DID YOU DO THAT FOR YOU FUCKIN' JACKASS MY FUCKIN' HEAD ALMOST GOT DAMNED EXPLODED!!!" Kouga yelled at Shippo so that the whole auditorium heard.

"Oh and number 2 no fighting…" Totosai said as though he hadn't heard a thing. (Knowing him he didn't)

"DIE YOU SHITTY ASSHOLE!!!" Kouga screamed as he started using Shippo as a punching bag.

"Bet you 35 that Ayame pulls him off…" Sango said to Miroku.

"You're on…" Miroku said happily.

"Put me in with Sango…" Inu Yasha said pulling out some money.

After a few seconds Ayame grabbed Kouga's arm and pulled him skillfully off of Shippo who was unconscious. Miroku scowled and handed Inu Yasha and Sango his money. Kirara then began to drag Shippo to the nurse's office shaking her head as she dragged him out.

"And no opposite sexes in dorm rooms. The will be no drinking, smoking, gambling or horse playing. No skipping classes…" Totosai said as he scratched his back thinking about the last time he took a bath. "And…" Totosai went on and on.

Inu Yasha rolled his eyes and tried to stay awake. "Oh and Inu Yasha, I know you're out there… report to the nurse's office." Totosai said stepping down. "Now for that bath…"

"What did you do now Inu Yasha?" Kouga asked as he stood up.

"Yeah normally you're in the principal's office, what's up today?" Ayame said bouncing happily out of her chair.

"Shut up…" Inu Yasha scowled, wondering what he had done now.

"That is the best comeback I've heard all day…" Miroku said sarcastically.

"I'll go with you Inu Yasha…" Kagome offered. Inu Yasha nodded at her and they waved back at their friends as Inu Yasha and Kagome turned down another hallway.

"Inu Yasha what's wrong?" Kagome asked. Inu Yasha had started sniffing the air curiously and then grabbed Kagome's arm and started running down the hall. "Inu Yasha…"

"Sesshoumaru… and burning flesh… my father…" Inu Yasha said as the sped toward the infirmary.

Inutashio looked at his older son's arm as the paramedics patched it up. Rin had been rushed to the hospital being that she was in a minor coma. Her temperature had been steadily rising ever since Sesshoumaru had gotten her to the infirmary.

Inutashio had come to restrain his son from killing the paramedics that told him he couldn't ride with Rin to the hospital. Rin's father was out of town but his girlfriend had been reached and she was said to be headed toward the hospital. And Sesshoumaru was determined to get there before the wench.

"Could you hurry it up…" Sesshoumaru said with no emotion but Inutashio heard the low growl in his throat.

"Sesshoumaru calm down… I'm sure Rin is fine…"

"You can't be sure though can you?" Sesshoumaru said venom leaking into his voice.

"Dad, what the hell is wrong with Sesshoumaru?!" Inu Yasha yelled bursting into the room.

"Little brother I didn't know you cared…" Sesshoumaru said while raising an eyebrow.

"Shut up I was wor… I smelt burning flesh I though you had become a pyro or something and it went bad…" Inu Yasha said scowling at the fact that he had almost admitted to worrying about his jackass of an older sibling. Sesshoumaru raised an eyebrow and got up.

"Hey, where are you going?" Kagome asked curiously.

"The hospital…"

"Why?" Inu Yasha asked looking at the bandages on his brother's arm.

"Because I'm sure when Rin wakes up there and she sees her father's girlfriend she will have a heart attack…"

The two nodded together and then something clicked. "What do you mean she is in the hospital!?" Both yelled simultaneously.

"I'll leave that to father for explanations…" Sesshoumaru said and walked out of the room.

"Code word for `he doesn't know'…oww…" out of no where a rock knocked against Inu Yasha's skull.

"That's why you'll never hear me saying anything about Sesshoumaru," Shippo said as Kaede who had been watching the whole thing sat silently in the corner bandaging his head.

"Yeah rocks just seem to miraculously find their way to your skull…" Kirara said thoughtfully.

Skip Second Period… And onto third

"Okay class today we will be working on your skill in ancient battling techniques." The little frog said wobbling up to his class.

"Wow this should be entertaining…" Inu Yasha said raising an eyebrow.

"Umm… Mr. Nobushi, are we allowed to use our own personal weapons?" Sango asked thinking only of giant boomerang.

"Yeah why not, kill each other, if someone dies the killer will get extra credit. I'm pairing you up so who's not here today…"

"Rin's in ICU, and Sesshoumaru is there with her…" Kagome whispered to Mr. Nobushi. But Kagura still heard her and grinned.

5 minutes later

"Yeah you know I put her in ICU…" Kagura said with a sickly smile. "I told her not to mess with my man she just wouldn't listen to me…" She said flipping her hair over her shoulder.

"You lying bastard, Rin has a high fever and that has nothing to do with you!" Kirara said as flames started to circle around her ankles and wrist.

"Awww… does the kitty cat want to fight. Might want to watch it you may end up in ICU with your best friend." Kagura said in a nasty tone.

"Ohhh… we are gonna settle this here and now…" Kirara growled while grabbing to razor disc.

"Kirara calm down, you know Rin would want to fight her own battles…" Ayame yelled as she rushed over to her friend.

But it was too late. Kirara had started a full offensive attack with the disc and broke straight through Kagura's defense. The next thing you know Kirara is sitting on Kagura's chest punching her face in. The disc lay next to her legs.

"YOU FUCKING WHORE TAKE IT BACK NOW!!!" Kirara yelled punching her for everything she was worth. Most of the girls stood in shock or were routing on Kirara (*cough* Kagome *cough* SangoAyame *cough*)

"MS. KONEKO!!! I WAS KIDDING ABOUT THE EXTRA CREDIT!!!" Mr. Nobushi cried as he wobbled toward the fight. Jaken, (If you didn't read the intro or what I just wrote you probably wouldn't have known.) tried to pull Kirara off of Kagura and was knocked into the wall.

"Kirara STOP!" Shippo yelled coming in from outside with the rest of the boys. He ran over to her.

"Let go Shippo… She lied… Tell them the truth Kagura… What can't say anything because I punched you teeth down your throat?" Kirara growled out venom seething into every word.

"RIN WAS SICK DON'T HIT ME!!!" Kagura cried out. Kirara stood up and kicked her in the stomach for good measure. Kagura rolled up in a ball crying. Kikyo who had been one of the first to come out of the shock charged at Kirara only to be caught in a restraint hold by Kagome.

"Mess with one, mess with all…" Kagome whispered dangerously. Then she kicked Kikyo onto the ground and started to walk toward Ayame and Sango.

"BITCH!" Kikyo yelled as she jumped up and ran at Kagome and stabbed her. Kagome's hands went straight to her side as her face lost color.

"Oh…" Kagome said her eyes showing regret that she had turned around. The last thing she heard was Inu Yasha telling her to hold on.

The room was empty yet a voice kept calling to her. `Rin… I told you I would always watch you…' She was a little child again running toward that voice. It was such a warm and welcoming voice. But she was so hot, burning… She opened her eyes and she was surrounded by flames. Sesshoumaru's head (He's younger) lay in her lap and she was crying.

They were going to die. Just like their parents had minutes before. She pulled his lymph body closer to her in an attempt to keep him from catching ablaze. She closed her eyes tight and sobbed.

`Is that why, honey?' The soothing voice whispered in her ear.

"Mommy, please help me…"

`That is just a memory honey… but that is why you are scared of the flame.'

"It wants to consume me…"

`Oh honey please rest, such a silly fear for such a brave girl.' In her sleep Rin felt a cool hand on her forehead and a soft kiss. `I can't help you if you won't help yourself… The elements were not meant to be controlled but you will control them until the jewel is awaked. Then this burden will be lifted… But watch out the son of the damned does know and his desires can destroy this realm. Goodbye my little angel.' And the voice was gone.

"Mommy…" Rin muttered as she woke up.

"Guess again…" as Rin began to focus in on the world the first thing she saw was pale skin. Then whitish purple colored hair and dead purple eyes. Rin pulled herself up so fast the world began to spin.

"Akago…" She whispered rolling herself off the bed and crawling into the far corner. Her head was pounding and her face was flushed because of the fever.

"Aww… I feel nice that you remember me when the last time we met if I remember correctly wasn't in this lifetime princess." He moved over toward her corner. As his fingers reached out toward her, a flame licked at them. He drew his hand back in surprise. "So you still have some energy left… I'm surprised; I must say I did underestimate you…"

Rin stared at him panting slightly. She was so tired she wanted to go back to sleep. But there were a million and one questions tugging at the edges of her mind. Like how the hell did she know him and vice versa. She started to sweat as her fever continued to grow.

"I do have more dignity than the last time we met so I'll let you heal being that I know you are sick. But I've told you before you can't hide forever and what I want I'll get. And right now you are number one on that list."

Rin shivered at the coldness in his words. She gave a light jump as he reached out towards her again. And yet again a flame licked at his finger tips. He shook his head and gave her a cold smirk.

"You are so unwelcoming love. But I guess he has you brainwashed again… I'll one day bring you his head on a silver platter and that day you shall be mine…" And with that his body turned into a horde of bees and they all flew out of the open window. All that was left were black rose petals and they covered everything but her.

Rin sat on the floor for awhile, after the window magically closed she fainted against the wall. Moments later her body started randomly shaking. Lita arrived and seconds later Sesshoumaru walked in. Lita stood in the doorway staring at the floor and at Rin. Sesshoumaru walked over to her and with his good hand checked her temperature. "Call the doctors now!" Sesshoumaru ordered Lita who was in shock.

Though normally she wouldn't have done anything for that brat something about the boy's voice commanded authority. She quickly called out the door for a doctor. And she watched quietly as the boy placed Rin on the bed and picked up something that was next to her.

It was an envelope addressed to The Young Lord of the West Sesshoumaru. He picked it up and opened it. As he read his eyes blinked red and he rushed out the door.

Sorry about the cliffy… No, Kagome isn't dead and that is all I'm giving yah. I really do love my reviewers so much that I'm sending them 1000 dollars!!! That is if they purchase my baseball card collection for 20 million… Well this is Star saying please don't hurt me. This was a bruising chapter and it took everything I had to stab Kagome. I thought I was gonna kill myself… and that is highly possible since they think I'm a manic depressant… Okay I'm going to the shrink sometime in the near future wish me luck…
