This is I think my third songfic, I hope you people like it! ENJOY!!!

Numb

<I'm tired of being what you want me to be>

Feeling the Jewel in my hand, it's power, it overwhelmed me with it's control. I grasped onto it, I'll never let go. I could feel the waves of the dominant energy flow threw my body! I will finally be able to become full demon instead of being in that weak, scrawny, body of a human. I will be what I want to be, not what they want…

<Feeling so faithless lost under the surface>

I smirked at the people surrounding me, seeing their pitiful faces stare into my eyes. It made me laugh looking at them, how scared they looked. I never want to go back to that life of misery, and being unhappy. But now I will be on top. No one will be able to kill me!

<Don't know what you're expecting of me>

I slowly brought that hand up to my mouth. I could simply wish on it but I wanted to see them suffer!

The girl named Kagome opened her mouth ready to say something but she didn't have enough courage to say a word. She just watched in horror knowing she couldn't do anything to stop me. She knew what I wanted but she didn't know what to expect.

<Put under the pressure of walking in your shoes>

That woman was the only one that I could rely on. she was the one that I loved even though she didn't love me back. Or at least I thought that she didn't like me.

The Jewel slipped into my mouth, hearing a gasp from the group I swallowed and adjusted my eyesight on Kagome, seeing her fear as I walked towards her slowly.

<(Caught in the undertow just caught in the undertow)>

My eyes flashed red, my claws grew long, my fangs took length, and two purple streaks appeared under those two crimson eyes of mine.

Now I was only a few feet away from the trembling girl. Then Sango jumped in between us.

<Every step that I take is another mistake to you>

"I won't let you hurt Kagome!" she had said to me like I was being a bad person. Her arms spread out to protect her friend; I gave her a smile while looking into her eyes.

"I never said that I would hurt her," I began while throwing Miroku a glance. "But I also never said that I would hurt you…" I stepped back from the demon exterminator and eyed her carefully.

<(Caught in the undertow just caught in the undertow)>

I saw Kagome move to get around Sango and I also saw Miroku walking towards the two. Still with the smirk on my face I looked back to Kagome and saw her heading for me.

"Kagome don't go near him." Miroku yelled to her but she ignored him. She reached for me slowly. But then my senses began to blur. Seeing her but not sensing her.

<I've become so numb I can't feel you there>

Kagome had grabbed on to me, bettering her hold on my waist.

"Inuyasha…" her voice was so faint to me, I could hardly hear her. Not of my own will I had pushed her away and walked slowly past her towards the monk. He brought up his staff ready for an attack.

<I've become so tired so much more aware>

I brought my hand up near the monk's face and he stepped back surprised. I couldn't even talk I just watched for what I would do next. My hand found it's way to be clawing at his face. My fingernails dug deep into his skin. Miroku tried to shove my attack away but it was too late I had already sliced what he had of a face. I licked the blood off my fingertips and grinned.

<I'm becoming this all I want to do>

Sango gasped running towards the falling monk, kneeling on her knees she cupped Miroku's head in her hands.

"Inu…Inuyasha, why…?" her voice was weak, full of tears. She set his head down and stood up slowly, turning around. "You will pay…" she reached for her boomerang.

"Inuyasha…SIT!" a voice behind him yelled.

<Is be more like me and be less like you>

"SIT, SIT, SIT, SIT, SIT!!!" she screamed stopping her foot.

"Bitch." He said with a muffled voice trying to get up. My stance was weak from the fall. "Who do ya' think you are?!" I had yelled running towards her. That girl didn't move. It was like she wanted me to hurt her. Then I saw a tear, it slid down her face and swiftly clashed with the ground.

<Can't you see that you're smothering me>

Stopping, I heard from behind me the exterminator yelling her attack while running towards me. She let her boomerang rip threw the air at me. My eyes widened the fact that I couldn't move fast enough and feeling the bone hit my shoulder. I winced at the pain while losing my balance which sent me to the ground.

<Holding too tightly afraid to lose control>

Kagome's tears fell freely as she ran over to me. She kneeled down next to me while I slowly sat up.

"Wench," I had begun trying to stand back up using my free hand. Kagome's glare didn't leave my face at all while I stood up. I eyed back down at her, it was strange how I didn't want to kill her or my other self didn't want to kill her.

<Cause everything that you thought I would be>

Kagome mouthed the words `don't kill her' but I had overlooked her suggestion to death. I had glared at my opponent she stood off a distance next to the deceased Monk. I began to walk to her. Changing into a high speed, I saw her with her attack ready.

<Has fallen apart right in front of you>

I ran passed her which left a dumbfounded Sango looking at me run away. I kept running until they couldn't see me anymore, spotting a tree I scurried over to it and pushed myself with my foot against the tree turning me around. With that drive I had leaped into the air gliding through the wind.

<(Caught in the undertow just caught in the undertow)>

I saw them again; the two girls still looking at the location were I had vanished. Now that I was above them, I dove feet first towards Sango. My clothes flapped with the upcoming wind as I flew down. Then I hit her like hell, pushing her body to the ground, hearing her spine crack underneath my feet. Kagome's jaw dropped open staring at the scene.

<Every step that I take is another mistake to you>

Sango let out a low moan as she felt the pain flash threw her body, Throbbing. Aching. Hurting.

I stepped off her and slowly picked her up by the collar. She brought up her hands and tried to pry my clawed hands away from her neck.

"Does it hurt…?" I questioned as I threw her down to the earth.

<(Caught in the undertow just caught in the undertow)>

I had seen Kagome run over to me and she tried to pull me back from the girl, but she was too weak. I threw her off me with one quick jolt sending her back to land on the ground also. I grinned while turning around to her still keeping and eye on Sango.

"You really like to make me mad…" I began glaring down at her. She peered up to me in alarm. `She can't sit me or I'll end up on top of her' I thought to myself.

<And every second I waste is more than I can take>

The girl looked at her surroundings. Fear welled up in her eyes as she looked back at me. She took a glance at Sango and saw her laying on the soil, unconscious. Now it was just me and her, I could do what ever I wanted with her, or my other self could do want he wants with her I mean. I kneeled down on one knee and took her chin in my hand; Forcing her to look me in the eyes. My bloody eyes.

<I've become so numb I can't feel you there>

I felt her struggle in my grip as I leaned in closer to her, just inches from her face. But then I heard Sango stir and quickly let go of Kagome like I was afraid of being caught with her. Kagome scooted away from me slowly but I gave her a fierce look and she stopped right in her tracks.

<I've become so tired so much more aware>

I turned my attention to the woman on the ground seeing her weakly trying to get up with her state of body. I chuckled seeing her struggle. I was starting to get bored of this. I could just kill them both but that would be no fun just seeing them tear between my fingertips.

<I'm becoming this all I want to do>

I wanted to see blood but what was I to do? I glanced over to Sango seeing her open her eyes slowly. She ignored me and tried to sit up. Her face crunched up of the pain. I smirked as I saw her move slowly knowing I was the one that hurt her.

<Is be more like me and be less like you>

Pain, I felt pain just then, it shot up my back. I grabbed my heard ferociously trying to make it go away. I kneeled down on my knees and screeched barring my nails deeper into my head.

Kagome sped over to me asking if I was okay. I gave her a growl and she backed up surprised.

<And I know>

I couldn't take this pain. I just couldn't! Then I began to feel my senses coming back to me. I was back to my body finally! Still being a demon I felt the aching even harder pulsing through my body.

<I may end up failing too>

Kagome wanted to do something to calm me down but she didn't know what I would do if she got close. My skull began to bleed from clinching it so hard. Then it went away, it faded from me but I was not in control anymore my other self claimed my body yet again.

<But I know>

I stood up straight turning to the now awake and up Sango.

"I didn't get to finish what I started…" My voice frightened her, I saw her fear. I swung my claws at her; she blocked and took a few steps back, throwing her weapon. It missed and it came flying back to her.

<You were just like me with someone disappointed in you>

"Inuyasha stop!" the girl had yelled to me but ignoring her I threw another attack at Sango. I scraped her arm as I took witness as the blood seeped out of the cut.

"You think you can defeat me?" I asked not wanting an answer and rushed at her again.

<I've become so numb I can't feel you there>

I saw the fear in her eyes as I slashed at her chest, my hands stained with her blood.

"Inu…Inuyasha…what's wrong, wh-why are you…hurting…me?" she asked her voice overwhelmed in pain. She clutched at her frail body while trying to keep her balance. My grin pinned at her heart, I could tell she felt like she was about to die. But I wouldn't let her. There was something still deep inside me that wouldn't bring myself to kill her.

<I've become so tired so much more aware>

I, again looked over to Kagome, I saw her shriveled up on the ground next to Miroku grasping her arms around her legs and rocking back and forth. Her eyes wide looking into nothing.

I glanced back over to the women I was attacking to see she had vanished. I looked around myself amazed to see that she outsmarted me.

<I'm becoming this all I want to do>

I lifted my nose up in the air sniffing for her scent, when I noticed the smell of tears coming from that girl again. Turning my attention towards her I saw that she was indeed sobbing. Not of pain but fright. Still she gripped her knees I walked over to her alarmed that she was crying.

<Is be more like me and be less like you>

I knelt down to her as I felt her grasp caress my neck. She cried deeply into my shoulder dampening it. I was stunned as I blinked my eyes a few times. The red had faded from my eyes and I returned to normal noticing the girl's embrace.

<I've become so numb I can't feel you there>

I simply draped my arms around her also as I began to cry too. What have I done, I had killed Miroku and hurt Sango to the point of death and I still have this girl crying on my shoulder like she was proud of me. It was so strange how she didn't mind I killed or maybe this is a different type of weeping? May be she hated me but she just expressed it by tears.

<I'm tired of being what you want me to be>

I lightly pushed her away from me so I could look at her straight in the eye. She looked very sad for what I had done. But she didn't seem mad what a relief but that still doesn't make the guilt go away. I lifted to my feet and glanced down to the woman I loved.

"I'm sorry Kagome." Was the only thing I said as I began to walk away.

<I've become so numb I can't feel you there>

"I'm sorry."

<I'm tired of being what you want me to be>

There you have it took me forever to write and also I know the words don't really work with the song but…well…I don't know…Just review if you liked it
