Kagome let out a bitter laugh and looked at Kikyo.

"Excuse me?" Kagome asked her. Kikyo shrugged her shoulders again.

"Who said I wanted to live?" Kikyo repeated.

"But who said I wanted to die?" Kagome asked her back. Kikyo once more shrugged her shoulders.

"Well then we sit here right here in between the dead world and the living world."

"Kikyo I can't I have to go back to Inuyasha."

"That's right. You have people to go back to and people that love you. What do I have? Who do I have? I have nothing I might as well be dead." Kikyo sighed as she sat on the floor. Kagome sat in front of her.

"Kikyo you can't be serious? You have me. I'm your sister Kagome said."

"Big whoop." Kikyo rolled her eyes. Kagome stood up and started pacing back and forth shaking her head.

"I don't get you. You tell me you love me and you're proud of me and things like that but when I try to tell you how I feel you push me away."

"So sue me Kagome I'm not the highly emotional person. Geez I can only take but so long of those emotions." Kikyo sighed and laid down on her back closing her eyes.

"Kikyo think of like this. We need to get back to living world to stop Naraku and avenge our Mom and Grandpa. Don't you want to do that?"

"Why avenge them when we could just be with them?" Kikyo shrugged. Kagome stomped her foot.

"So that cold blooded killer can just have his way and destroy the world?"

"So what. At least we won't be in the way and we don't have to fight him to be killed....again."

"You're a coward that's your problem!" Kagome snapped. Kikyo looked at her.

"What did you call me?"

"I said you're a coward." Kagome repeated putting her hands on her hips.

Inuyasha landed on a mountain after just avoided being burned.

"Naraku is really starting to piss me off.....NOW!" Inuyasha shouted. Naraku looked at him and smiled. Sesshoumaru whipped the lava men away from him causing them to multiply. Miroku slashed one lava man in half with his staff the lava man just formed two and continued after him.

"Damn we're in a real bad position. It's either cut them and multiply them or get thrown into hot lava." Miroku grunted as he cut the two down making four. Inuyasha grabbed Miroku and stood in front of Sesshoumaru.

"Stay behind me." Inuyasha looked at the lava men charging at them. He saw their winds collide and he sliced through the Wind Scar cutting the men away. Naraku watched in amusement he started laughing when saw the look on their faces. First they were fighting at least ten lava men in the last eights hours they were fighting fifty something now that Inuyasha sliced them all they had over a hundred of lava men. "AH SHIT!"

"Good move Inuyasha. That's all we need was more lava men." Sesshoumaru growled.

"Hey I thought I could do it in one shot." Inuyasha shrugged.

"You did do it in one shot. You just made it more difficult to fight in one shot." Miroku snapped.

"Bite me." Inuyasha snapped back. Miroku hit Inuyasha in the head with his staff.

"Be nice."

"Shit." Inuyasha mumbled.

Sango looked down at the cold girls. Sango grabbed Kagome's hand.

"Come on Kagome wake up. Please come alive."

"What's taking so long?" Rin asked. Kaede sighed and shook her head.

"Just as I feared they're not agreeing with each other."

"What?" Rin and Sango exclaimed at the same time.

Kikyo walked over to her sister towering over her.

"Repeat it in my face." Kikyo dared her. Kagome stepped back a little frighten. She never really liked getting Kikyo mad the outcome was always painful for her but she had to stand up to Kikyo one day. Kagome stepped back in her face.

"I said you're a coward." Kagome said lowly and meaningfully. Kikyo nodded her head and walked over to a wall she put her palm on the wall and the wall turned showing weapons. Kikyo grabbed a sword. Kagome shrieked and ran on the other side of the room. "Geez Kikyo it's not that serious. Do you really have to kill a girl who's already dead....half way dead?" Kagome yelled. Kikyo rolled her eyes grabbing another sword the wall turned back again going back to it's original state. Kikyo put one sword on the ground and kicked it over to Kagome's feet. Kagome looked at the sword then she looked back at Kikyo not understanding. Kikyo held her sword up looking at Kagome and she charged over at Kagome who quickly moved her head from the sword that struck the wall besides her. Kagome's eyes widen in horror as she saw Kikyo smiled and laugh out.

"I challenge you sister. If and only if you defeat me I shall agree to come back to life with you. But if you lose then you come to hell with me." Kikyo told her sister. Kagome shook her head in shock.

"You do anything to drag me down with you don't you? And I mean that as literally as I can."

"I'm sure you did." Kikyo smiled and pulled her sword from the wall. Kagome picked up her sword holding it in defense. Kikyo charged at Kagome who blocked the sword block with much difficulty. "If you want to get back to Inuyasha you have to do much better then that." Kikyo laughed at her little sister. Kagome growled and transformed her spiritual power into her sword to make it strong against Kikyo's. Unfortunately for her Kikyo was a step ahead of her. Their swords clashed together as each girl tried to over power the other.

"Kikyo stop this we don't have time for this. Who knows what kind of trouble they are in? We have to get there and help them." Kagome tried to reason with her sister. Kikyo kicked her foot under Kagome's feet making Kagome fall down. Kikyo then brought the sword down Kagome dodged the attack by the skin of her teeth. She took her breath and looked at Kikyo who was laughing. "Kikyo I'm telling you right now that's not funny. You could've killed me!"

"Stupid I can't kill you unless I kill me and besides we're both half dead anyway. How do you kill a half dead person." Kikyo laughed. Kagome growled Kikyo was teasing her and she was loving it. Right now Kagome's friends were in trouble and Kikyo was laughing. Kagome always did her best to stay on Kikyo's good side even though that was nearly impossible since the girl was rarely satisfied. Kagome felt an anger rise up in her the anger she had against Kikyo that she tried so hard to suppress for years. Kagome growled standing up she charged at Kikyo hitting her sword with a strong force. Kikyo was taken back at first but she regain her composure and smiled. This is what she was trying so hard to get Kagome to do. Fight her back, Kagome always hid from her and she wanted her to stand up for herself against her. Kagome swung and swung at Kikyo with no kind of skill but Kikyo was still happy at the fact Kagome was fighting back. So Kikyo decided to test the water.

"Do you dare attack your older sister Kagome?!! What have I told you about respect?!! Give me one good reason why I shouldn't beat the hell out outta you right now!!" Kikyo roared at Kagome. Kagome gasped and she began to shrink down again but then she realized this was now or never. If she didn't stand up to her sister now she would be 50 years old still scared shitless of Kikyo and she didn't want that.

"Because I'm gonna beat the hell outta you!!" Kagome charged at Kikyo with the sword. Kikyo smiled and blocked the hit she then pushed Kagome back. She was more then proud of her sister Kagome was finally learning not fear her. Kagome jumped back up and charged at Kikyo once more only to be thrown to the ground. She had to get to Inuyasha and the others who knows what Naraku was doing to them at this moment and she couldn't let them die. They needed her just as much as she needed them.

"Come on Kag you can do better then that." Kikyo taunted. Kagome growled and charged at Kikyo once more, Kikyo knocked the sword from Kagome's hand and punched her in the gut. Kagome fell to her knees holding her stomach in pain.

"I-I-I can't give up." Kagome looked up and saw the sword pointing to her face with Kikyo holding smiling.

"You lose." She whispered. Kagome growled and slammed her fist on ground as tears fell from her eyes.

"I can't believe it. I let them all down. I can't believe I let them all down." Kagome laid completely on the ground crying in her arms. Kikyo sighed looking at Kagome.

"Come on Kagome we don't have all day. We have to get going." Kikyo said walking to the door. Kagome looked down following her sister's feet not bothering to look up. There was no way she wanted to face death.

"Ow shit that's hot!!" Inuyasha yelled as he touched by one of the lava men. Naraku yawned this game been going on for hours now and he was starting to grow impatient. With the snap of his fingers all the hot lava disappeared just as Inuyasha fell off the roof on the ground. Sesshoumaru and Miroku landed on the ground but on their feet instead of their heads like Inuyasha.

"Why don't you three die. Geez you're getting boring." He floated down to the ground looking at them.

"Well sorry to burst your bubble Naraku but we're not here for your amusement." Miroku told him.

"No kidding." Naraku rolled his eyes and shrugged. "No biggie I kill you with my own hands." He charged at them before any of them could see he punched Inuyasha in the face, kicked Miroku in the throat and kneed Sesshoumaru in the gut. They all fell back groaning. Miroku sat up first grasping his throat.

"What the hell was that?" Miroku panted as rose to his knees but his upper fell to the floor as he tried to get air. Sesshoumaru slowly sat up rubbing his stomach he started coughing and spit out blood. Inuyasha wiped the blood from his cheek laughing.

"Pretty good Naraku. Did you mange to do that all on your on?"

"Yep and now I'm going to kill you." He laughed and charged at Inuyasha holding his fist up about to bring it down on Inuyasha's head but froze. Inuyasha backed up but tripped over his feet and landed on his butt. He looked in shock not knowing what happened. Naraku rubbed his stomach feeling a strong pain. "Something's wrong my whole body feels so weird." Naraku groaned out. He fell to his knees panting hard he then clutched his chest yelling out in pain. He managed to stand up but he still was holding his chest. Inuyasha backed up to where Sesshoumaru and Miroku were located. They all watched as Naraku started panting harder and soon you was able to see from the outside his heart beating fast. Then suddenly the jewel ripped from his chest once again pink and pure. They gasped in shock. Naraku looked in shock holding his now bleeding chest. "No it can't be. It can't be!!! How can it be they're dead!!!"

"Correction were dead." Kikyo smiled down at him. They all looked up and saw Kagome and Kikyo riding on Kilala.

(See she has a piece of red heart somewhere in the black one she has)

"Now Kag." Kikyo smiled at her sister. Kagome stood up and shot an arrow in the place the jewel ripped from. Naraku yelled out as his flesh started to dissolve and melt. He fell into the water making the process speed up faster. Soon the only thing that was floating was his black kimono. Kikyo shot an arrow at it destroying the evil cloth. Kilala landed down Kagome ran to Inuyasha throwing herself in his arms. Inuyasha spun her around and hugged her tightly.

"Oh Kagome I thought I lost you for good."

"I thought I lost you too. But now I know we'll never be separated again." Kagome whispered in his ear. Inuyasha smiled looking at her, he brought his lips to hers.

"Wow I'm so proud of you all. You all did a great job defeating Naraku." Senichi smiled nodding his head. Inuyoukai smiled and chuckled.

"Yes you did. I certainly did underestimate you all." They all cheered.

"So let's celebrate." Senichi said.

"Yeah Sango let's celebrate." Miroku said moving close to her with his wandering hands.

"Miroku!!" Sango punched him in the head he fell to the floor. Sango and Rin began laughing. Inuyasha and Sesshoumaru shook their heads.

"He'll never learn." They said in unison. They looked at each other and a small grin came on their faces. Squashing whatever conflicts they had in the past.

Kagome and Kikyo walked outside of the Inn standing under a tree facing each other. Kagome looked down sadly.

"Are you sure Kikyo?" Kagome asked her. Kikyo sighed and nodded her head looking off into the bright sky.

"Yeah it's better this way. Besides I love traveling the world. Don't worry I'll be back in a couple of years or so." Kikyo said softly. Kagome looked at her feet. Kikyo then place her hand gently on Kagome's shoulder Kagome looked up at her. "I'm proud of you Kagome. Always have always will be. You're little sister remember that. I love you."

"I love you too." Kagome smiled as tears began to fall down her eyes. Kikyo sighed looking down.

"Come on Kagome both of us have to be strong. We both can't be emotional." Kikyo said as she wiped her tears. Kagome smiled and hugged Kikyo for the first time in a long, long time. Kikyo looked surprised at first but she hugged her little sister back. Kikyo pulled from the hug pecking Kagome on the forehead. "Take care."

"You take care as well Kikyo."

"Here take this." Kikyo placed the Shikon jewel in Kagome's hand. Kagome looked confused. "It's safer here because traveling with that wouldn't be wise."

"I'll take good care of it."

"I know. You're not that same idiot girl anymore. You're a smart strong woman."

"And I have to thank you. I felt so lost when Mom and Grandpa died but if you didn't whip me into shape the way you did who knows where I would be now."

"Hey let's not think about that." Kikyo said as the taxi pulled up. "Well this goodbye for now."

"No, you only say goodbye when you're never going to see someone again. It's see ya till then." Kagome corrected Kikyo. Kikyo laughed and gave Kagome a quick hug before going off to the taxi.

"Tell everyone my see ya thens." Kikyo laughed.

"I will." Kagome nodded laughing. Kikyo blew her a kiss and closed the taxi door and the taxi took off. Kagome waved till the taxi was out of sight. Kagome sighed. "I never thought I would be so sad to see her leave." Kagome said to herself out loud.

"Don't worry you'll meet up again." A voice behind her said. Kagome didn't have to turn around to see who it was. She smiled as he wrapped his arms around her.

"I hope so." She hugged him tightly.

"We're going out to dinner come on." Inuyasha said as he held her hand closely. They walked off in the house and missed the red pair of eyes watching them.

There was small laughter.

"The jewel will be mine."
