“Are you sure?” he asks as he smoothes his hands down the sweet curve of her back, cupping the tight fullness of her ass.
“Yes! Please…” she shivers and whines; her words hot and heavy against his skin. Her arms tighten around his neck as he lifts her, the stiffness in her body a nervous tension despite the eagerness in her voice.
“Oh please!” she whimpers again, and he soothes her with a quiet murmur against her hair as he eases into her tight warmth. There is resistance, and she hides her face against his nape, but before he can decide to stop or start or spare her like he should, she makes the decision for him, rolling her hips forward. She gives a little gasp, a hitch of pain in her breath, and then she is a heavy weight in his arms, sliding softly downward onto him like the embrace of summer rain. Warm, wet, life giving—she soaks in through his skin, surrounding him with heat, easing the drought of his famine with blessed fulfillment.
And then she moves, her thighs tensing as she rises, pulling herself upward. The firm weight of her beautiful breasts slides up his chest and then her flushed, rosy nipples are within reach. He bends his head and suckles them, unable to resist the temptation. She gives a little cry of appreciation and her fingers flex on his shoulders. Then, with one smooth, downward undulation of her body from shoulder to hip, she takes him in completely and he almost comes right then. Like diving into a sun warmed pool, she surrounds him; drowning him in her moisture, losing him in her depths.
For a moment, he breathe her in—sight, scent, taste, sound, and touch—engraving this moment into his memories so that he will always have her, just like this, to savor.
Her lips close on his and then she offers him her breath, as she offers him her body and it is too much, too much. He lets go, lets himself partake of all that she is and will always be. He allows himself to hope for a future, to swear a new allegiance in his heart, to shed the past with all its might-have-beens.
His body surges into hers and he is nurtured by her heat. Her body welcomes him in and he is quenched by her wetness. Together their bodies move until they are both sated.
He holds her close; humbled by her giving, by her unfailing faith in him, by her stubborn refusal to give up on their love. His hand strokes her dark hair as she rests her head on his shoulder and sighs. There is a wealth of unspoken, unshed tears in that one small sound and he vows to never again be the reason she cries.
She is his summer rain; and the only wetness of hers he wants to be the cause of is the kind that brings her—and him—fulfilling joy.
