InuYasha Fan Fiction ❯ Once a Month ❯ The Spot ( Chapter 3 )

[ T - Teen: Not suitable for readers under 13 ]

So sorry for the slow update, but I promise this will be a long chapter to make up for it! Onwards to chapter 4!

"S-she did WHAT?!" Sango yelled. People stopped and stared at her.

"Ok, nothing to see here people, move it along," Miroku said, "GET YOUR ASSES AWAY FROM HERE NOW!" He yelled. They all cleared out. An angry pervert is very scary trust me I know.

"Why did she agree to go out with Koga? Him of all people!" Inuyasha asked

"I dunno," Sango, answered, "I mean just last week she said she hated him."

Miroku was silent for a while, "Oi! What did you do to Kagome after we left?" He asked, or rather demanded.

Inuyasha replayed the night and morning in his mind, "Oi your self monk, I left and she wasn't upset trust me, I woulda smelt it er something." He said while shaking his head.

Sango sighed, "Let just go to lunch, I'll talk to her."

** The Lunch Room **

Sango handed Miroku her money and told him to buy her lunch, she didn't care what. She then walked over to Kagome who was sitting next to Koga laughing loudly.

Kagome turned around and saw Sango smiling. "Hey Sango, what's up?"

"Nothing really but can I talk to you?"

Kagome nodded, "Excuse me for a minute Koga, I gotta talk to Sango."

They walked away together into the hallway. Sango abruptly turned around and glared at her best friend.

"What are you doing? Why are you sitting with Koga? Why are you going out with him!"

"One question at a time. I'm talking to you. I'm sitting with him because I can, and I am going out with him. I'm going out with him because I like him. Are you happy now?"

"NO I'm not! You told me like last week that you hated Koga. And I know for a fact that you like Inuyasha, and you have since before you even met me." She said the last part so calm it was scary.

"I do NOT like Inuyasha that way! I have more feelings for Koga then I do Inuyasha."

Sango glared at her yet again, "Liar." She practically hissed. Sango slapped Kagome, "That's for pissing me off, while you are going out with Koga, we will not talk to you, I swear that's a promise.

She stormed away angrily.

** With Inuyasha and Miroku **

"Hmm" Miroku said, "What does Lady Sango wish to eat?"

Inuyasha rolled his eyes, "What does she usually eat?"

"PBJ sandwich and a coke."

"Then that's what you will get her."

After the two boys had to fight over what to get Sango they sat in their usual table. It was in the corner closest to outside. (It's an open lunchroom) Inuyasha half expected to see the two girls laughing about what she did with Koga.

But all he saw was a miserable looking Sango. Miroku took a seat next to Sango and Inuyasha sat across from them. "How did it go with Kagome?"

"If either of you talk to her while she is dating Koga, I will personally slit your throats." She said with out looking up from her lunch.

"That good huh?" Miroku said more than asked.

~ After School ~

"Bye Koga!" Kagome said and waved to her new boyfriend. She turned and looked to the right when she saw her friends, Miroku, Sango, and Inuyasha glaring at her like she committed a horrendous crime. (Which she did.)

She figured Inuyasha wasn't going to give her a `ride' so she started to walk. Inuyasha almost got up but Miroku and Sango held him down, "No Inuyasha you mustn't, she betrayed you, and you must remember Lady Sango's threat."

"What are you a priest?"

"Monk." Sango and Inuyasha looked at him strangely, "What? You knew that I was a monk in training."

"I thought you stopped." Sango answered and shrugged.

Inuyasha got up and ran in the opposite direction Kagome went.

When Inuyasha ran for about ten minutes, he turned around; he wanted Sango and Miroku to think he had given up on Kagome. But that was just impossible for him.

`I need you Kagome, don't you know that by now?' he thought.

He reached the tree in front of Kagome's window and he could easily smell her sent from there. He jumped up the tree like it was only a small rock on the ground. Inuyasha knocked on her window after seeing her sitting at her desk.

Before he entered the room he smelt the salty unbearable scent of tears. He couldn't stand it when Kagome cried. Kagome looked up at the noise, the only person who used her window was Inuyasha. Wasn't he mad at her? Why wasn't he mad at her? It would make life so much easier.

Kagome quickly got up and opened her window letting the man she truly loved into the room. For a moment they just stared at each other.

"W-what are y-you doing here?" she asked quietly.

Inuyasha snorted, "You act like I have never randomly come over. Two weeks ago I came here at like 11:30 at night, you didn't care."

"Well, I thought you hated me."

Inuyasha looked at her, she was staring at the floor, "What gave you that idea? Is it what Sango said?"

She didn't answer right away, but she did nod eventually.

Inuyasha laughed quietly. "You think Sango could keep me away? You're very mistaken. Nothing could. Keep me away I mean."

She pushed her hair behind her ear, a nervous habit, "I um I want you to leave," she fell to her knees, "Please, make it easier for me to, um please just leave."

She was in tears, turning away from Inuyasha, the person who she knew loved her, and she was going out with his rival to ease the pain.

Nothing was going right. She decided to go out with Koga so Inuyasha would stay away. She figured that if he stayed away she would love him less, and the pain would ease. One thing became clear to her, it wouldn't go away.

Well not until she fell in love with someone else. Koga per say? (NO don't do it Kagome, I mean umm yea *rubs back of head sees anime sweat drop* onwards with the story!)

Inuyasha go to his knees and embraced his best friend fiercely, "I don't know why you want me to leave, but hear me know, I will NEVER leave you. That I promise you."

She was leaning into his chest, her head screaming to pull away, but her heart wouldn't let her. She cried into his chest shaking her head. "Y-you m-must le-leave. Please, I want you to go."

"You say you want me to leave, yet you're clutching my shirt so tightly, I can tell you want me to stay. I hate to quote Miroku, but your heart and your mind are telling you two completely different things"

Kagome knew he was right, she wanted him so desperately to just hold her and tell her that everything is going to be okay, that it was all a bad dream. Inuyasha took his finger and lifted Kagome's chin. "C'mon lets go."

"Where?" she sniffed.

He smiled warmly, "There." It was simple answer, no one else would understand but she did. It was their place. They even built it.

At first Kagome wouldn't let him even carry her to their special place. But eventually she gave in, now he was running top speed with Kagome sitting on his back.

They reached the spot in about seven minutes.

When they were in one of the rooms they built, it had five rooms, they sat down. Kagome refused to look up at him; she knew what he was thinking. In this very room, was were they shared there first kiss, and make-out session, on the same day.

This place was really special to her. It was one of the first things they ever did together. They shared their first kiss here. They fell asleep here, and camped out. It held a lot of memories. But the most important thing was that it was there place, no one else knew about it.

"Why did you want to come here Inuyasha?" She asked quietly.

He looked straight into her eyes, "I really don't know. I wanted to be with you, and I knew that you would come here." She just stared at him for a second. A small smile passed her lips.

"And there was another reason."

"What is it?"

He smiled again, "I wanted to kiss you."
