Once Up on a Yesterday

Once upon a yesterday

My old world fell away

Leaving something interesting and new

In place of the everyday cry and hue

Once upon a yesterday

My illusions fell away

Taking with them what I thought was truth

Showing me that not every thing is set in stone, not even time

Once upon a yesterday

Adventure seemed far away

And, yet, today it is at my door

Bringing with it the promise of more

All this, happened

Once upon a yesterday

What will happen tomorrow?
