One After Another: Chapter 3- The Music To The Mind
3 months later.........
A rumor was that a demon with a jewel shard had been attacking a village south of Keade's village. The group decided they should go an investigate.
The group barely had anymore adventures of the jewel shards. Without Kagome the group didn't search as many adventures.
It was quite without Kagome. Inuyasha was sad, so was everyone else, and they all seemed if they talked that one whould mention Kagome and make everyone sad. The group still did talk but just not much when a depressed half demon was around and as mad as the group had ever seen.
"It's getting dark. We should start making camp for the night" Sango told the group. As Sango had said, the sun was setting and the moon was rising. "Alright" was the reply Sango got. The group of friends started to set camp and get ready for sleep. All the friends went to sleep, except fo a half demon that kept watch all night long.

School was boring and nuts like always. After school, Kagome and her friends, Ayumi, Eri, and Yuka, meet at Wacdonalds. The girls chattered away while Kagome sat and listened. Soon the group seperated and all went to their homes.
Kagome went up the seemingly endless stairs and into her house. "Mama, I'm home" she yelled as she took her shoes off and shut the door. She got no response. "Mama? Grandpa?" Kagome looked around the house. On the fridge in the kitchen she saw a note.
'Kagome - Your grandpa is ill and I had to take him to the hospital. We will be home soon. - Mama.' Kagome sighed. She looked up at the clock on the wall. An hour before Souta would get home.
"Guess I'll just go do my homework." Forty-seven minutes passed and Kagome finished her homework. She walked down the stairs and sat on the couch while waiting for Souta. Nothing was on that caught found her interest. So she put it on the music videos and listened to the different songs that came on.
Then a song she heard before was playing. Even if the song was sang in English, she understood the words. Amazing that the only class she was ever able to pass while in the fuedal era was Englsih. She started singing to the song.
It's been 5 months

She wiped away the lonely tear that was making its way down her cheek. The last of her unwanted memories were fading. The last thing she saw was Inuyasha, telling Kikyo that he loved her only. Kagome turned her mind to less depressing things.
She listened to other songs that came on. "Seasons", "Real Me", "Four Seasons", "Real Emotions", and "Blue Sky" were the next songs that came on. Just then, Souta ran inside through the door. Kagome turned around and said hi. "Hey Kagome!" He took off his shoes and went to sit by his older sister.
"How was your day?" Souta smiled, then blushed. Kagome saw his blush and gave a sly smile. "How's Hitomi and you doing?" Kagome poked Souta in his side while he tried holding in his laughter. "Ticklelish are we?" She then tackle her brother, lightly, and tickled him. Souta was cracking up laughing.
The two siblings were both sprawled on the floor in the end, lightly laughing and gaining thier breath. Mrs.Higurashi walked into her house with the kids grandfather tow. "Looks like you two had fun while we were gone," she said as she saw her two kids.
Souta got up, announcing he was going to go do his homework, then ran up the stairs before Kagome could get him. "Darn" she mumbled. She got up and dusted herself off. "So how are you gramps?" The said grandfather explained what the doctor said. He just had a normal cold.
The day went by like any other. It was now the end of the day and Kagome was lying in her bed, having her unwanted flashbacks. All her depressing moments. Also, all her joyful. Finalily, she got to sleep. But her problems just started up again.

"AAAHHH HHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!" Kagome bolted straight in her bed. 'That damn nightmare!' Then she thought. "Something was different......." After pondering for awhile, she went back to bed.
