Everyone just stared at Inuyasha like he was crazy until Miroku decided to explain the situation. “Inuyasha, Kouga had just wanted to stay to wish Kagome-sama a happy birthday. He won’t try anything. Is that so wrong?” Inuyasha just looked at him with a fixed menacing glare.

“Yeah mutt face, let’s call it truce until tomorrow. Then we can get back to old times.” Kouga said.

Inuyasha fixed his glare on the wolf and decided to call it a truce. “As long as you don’t get in the way. I have plans tonight and I don’t want them ruined, ya got that?!?”
“Then call it a temporary truce. Hey dog breath! Did ya find yourself a mate yet? You know Kagome is gonna be irresistable because of her scent. I expect it will send us both flying back.” Kouga agreed. Inuyasha just folded his arms, stuck his nose in the air and left.
‘He’s right. Mating season is a few weeks away and during the whole 2 ½ months, she will be killing me.’ He thought.

“Mom, I can’t belive you’re making me wear this!” Kagome whinned. She was at the mall trying on a bunch of clothes that her mother wanted to see her wear.
“Oh hush, and come out so I can see how good it looks!” Her mother ordered. Kagome opened the stall and took a step out, then turned for her mother. She was wearing some nice blue hip hugger jeans with a tight black shirt that said “Give me something worthy of my time.” She also wore a thick black and white bracelet on each wrist and some buckle up combat boots. “Now to finish the touch.” Her mother put a dark blue choker with a charm around Kagome’s neck. “Oh honey! You look so hot!!”
“Mama! If Inuyasha saw me in this, he would blow a gasket! Not to mention what that hentai of a monk would do!” Kagome explained.
“That’s just what I want them to do. Now, let’s pick something out for your friend Sango. You told me she was your size.” Her mother told her. Kagome couldn’t complain about picking something out for Sango. At least she’d have someone to share the pain with. She immediately had a picture of Sango in her underclothes and tried to match clothing to see what would look good on her. Her mind came to a conclusion and immediately scouted off to search for the clothes. She came to the jean rack and pulled out a pair of low-rising blue jean bellbottoms. She then went to the shirts and found a nice magenta colored shirt. It would fit tight and would show off the belly button. It also said across the chest “If you’re rich, then I’m single!” and a glittery money bag beneath it. She found two bracelets that were slightly thin and were the color of red. She then picked out a pair of Vans sneakers that were also black. Kagome then went back to her mother and smiled when she approved. They left the store with the items paid for and bagged. After about 15 minutes she got into her house and went to her bedroom. She almost threw her stuff on her bed when she saw a wrapped gift with a small sunflower. She set her stuff on her desk chair and unwrapped the gift. Her eyes flew open when she saw what it was. It was a small red musical box with white sakura blossoms and a geisha. Kagome opened it and saw the note so she read it while the small box played its beautiful melody.

I’m not much for apologizing or present giving so here. Dumb sword wouldn’t shut up about your birthday. Happy Birthday Kagome.
Inuyasha

Kagome smiled and instantly forgave him. “He can be so sweet sometimes.” She said to herself. She realized that she had to get going. It was about 2:30 and didn’t want to keep her friends waiting. She didn’t dress in her new outfit so she took the two bags with her and jumped through the well after telling her mother farewell. Kagome climbed out of the well and dashed of towards the village. When she got close enough, she smelled the stench of wolf and figured it had to be Kouga She entered Kaeda’s hut and found out that her friends had a little party for her and yelled “SURPRISE!!” Kagome was completely shocked but noticed that Inuyasha being his original self by not taking part and sat there quietly. She shook her head and came to his ear.
“Thanks for the gift.” She whispered, and then seductively licked his cheek. When she pulled away, she realized that his eyes had gone wide and had his mouth in the form of an ‘o’. She decided that now was a good time to fit into those clothes. She took her bags and walked over to Sango.
“Hey, Sango. Would you please accompany me to the next room?” she asked. Sango gave her a curious look but complied. “We’ll be back soon. If you need us we will be in the next room and that doesn’t mean you can spy on us!” Kagome said as she eyed Miroku and Kouga.
“Jeez! Just go already. You’re burning holes in our faces!” Kouga told her. Kagome turned with a smirk and walked into the next room with Sango hot on her heels. As soon as Sango slid the shojo closed Kagome took out each outfit and laid them across the cot.
“My mom said to get you an outfit so I picked one out. You should like it.” Kagome explained while pointing to the outfit next to the black one.
Sango’s eyes widened. “Kagome, this is your birthday not mine.”
“I know but I thought sharing some of my future would give you a hint of what’s to come. I thought you’d like it.” Kagome was already undressed and putting on her pants that fit snuggly around her lower hips. She watched Sango start undressing and started to look very confused at the pants. “These are low-rise, which means that they onlycome up to here.” Kagome said as she placed a hand on her own body to indicate where the pants would stop. Sango shrugged but then was surprised as she pulled the pants to the indicated spot that they had fit her every curve. After they had put on their shirts and make-up, they stood in front of each other and gasped.
“Sango, I guarantee that Miroku will be drooling all over you when he sees you in this.” Kagome said as Sango blushed.
“And look at you! I already know two demons who are going to rip each other to bits over you.” Replied Sango.
Kagme giggled. “That’s what mom wanted them to do. Okay, let’s get out there and knock them dead.”
“Man, what’s taking them so long?!?” asked Kouga.
“I’m sure they just want to have a heart to heart talk.” Miroku told him. Inuyasha, however, was just in his normal position in his corner: eyes closed, nose up and arms folded. No later than what Miroku said, the doors flew open and revealed two beautiful women that Kouga, Ginta, Hakaku and Miroku almost died because of their looks. Kagome saw them drooling and smirked.
Inuyasha’s ears quirked and with his eyes still closed said “What? Ya finally done complaining? Ya know, you guys are quiet all of the sud…” Inuyasha had trailed away when he saw Kagome standing there with her hands on her hips. He saw her giggle and suddenly felt drool sneak out of his mouth and on to his chin to escape. “Whoa!” was all he said, Kagome swinging her hips from side to side as she walked to him. “Kagome, y-you’re human!” he said as Kagome sat down and gave him a smirk.
“Oh, it’s just this dragon necklace my grandfather gave me. It conceals my demonic features.” She explained. Kagome reached behind her neck unknowingly exposing more flesh for Inuyasha to gawk at and unclasped the necklace, shoving it into her pocket. Now with her natural surface showing, she looked even more attractive since the outfit went well with her hair and markings.
“You look so…” Kagome brought a hand to Inuyasha’s mouth.
“Save it for later. Right now I want to have fun.” She whispered. He nodded as she turned to the group. “So, you gonna sit there and drool over us girls or are you gonna hand me one gift at a time?” The boys suddenly snapped out of their lust trance and started shuffling around. The first three were from her wolf friends. They had given her three new furs each. She knew those would be useful since she needed something to cover up with in her den. The next was a present from Miroku. He had gotten her the incense that she really liked. The next two had been from Sango and Myoga. Sango had given her a new slayer’s battle outfit which had been black with purple instead of red and Myoga gave her a new silk kimono which was a lot like Inuyasha’s but this one was not as big and had fit. It also had a dragon that was silver climbing up the right leg and ended on her chest. The last and final present was from Kaede and she had given Kagome some rare healing herbs. It kind of reminded her of something back home.
“Are you alright Kagome?” Miroku asked. Kagome nodded and snapped out of her thoughts.
‘I think I can already feel that urge.’ She thought. She turned to Inuyasha just in time to see his nose wrinkle up and look at her yet again with those wide eyes. ‘Uh oh.’ She thought again. She peered through the cracks in the door and saw the sun about to set. That’s when Inuyasha’s memory kicked in and grabbed her by the wrists, then lead her out of the hut.
