Kagome's Spite

'Another day,' Inuyasha thought, ' will be wasted because the wench needed to study for a test - thingy.' Kagome had been gone for days, make that a couple of weeks. The group couldn't move on without her, so they all had to find ways to occupy themselves.

Miroku had finally started acting like a real monk: performing real exorcisms, praying over children, and best of all, not asking anyone to bear his child. Of course, Sango was not off limits. However, Miroku was the one that bore something of Sango's: a hand mark across the cheek.

When Sango wasn't chasing Miroku away from her bottom, she was exterminating demons in a nearby village. Shippo was playing with the village children most of the time.

Inuyasha was not very happy and he voiced this with his friends over dinner one evening.

" I can't believe Kagome took the jewel shards and left for a month. She is so dead when she gets back!!! I will personally seal the well."

"Inuyasha, calm down," Miroku said, " I'm sure she is thinking of us right now."

" Right, Miroku. She's been thinking of us for the last 28 days. She's probably forgotten who we are by now."

" Inuyasha, Miroku's right." Sango said. " I know Kagome and she wouldn't just forget us. She's just to busy with her schoolwork."

" I can't believe you both still take her side! She's really got you both on a short leash."

" SIT BOY!!! I cannot believe you were bad mouthing me. Thanks Sango and Miroku for sticking up for me. Inuyasha I will not travel another day with you to look for the shards. You and I are no longer friends!!!!!!!" Kagome said.

" Kagome, don't you think that's a little harsh." Miroku said before Sango hit him to be quiet.

" Fine Kagome. Goodbye" Inuyasha said.
