The dark forest, lit by only the slight moonlight, cascaded through a deep valley. Kiki, as she was known to most, let her dark hair cascade down into the cold mountain water. In the still of the night, under the sliver of the moon, she wished for hot water, warm food, and her friends. This was a journey, though, a way for her to prove her worth in a time of need. Like a wolf her amber eyes peered into the dense landscape, the fog was coming, a change was coming, to the world that she knew, and the peace that she had once known.
