Sess: thank you for not being one of those authors who keep the story long so they can keep me longer.

MM: What are you talking about Fluffy-sama? You're my dad!

Sess: oh kami.

Sess: I am so glad you don't own me.

Chapter Four:

The silent figure took off its mask. <A/N: ha ha!>

Shaking down its hair in beautiful tendrils, it smirked and licked off some blood from its knife. It glistened in the light of the morning.

"What are you doing here?" A woman asked, red eyes narrowing.

"Just taking a break. Bye." The person (I couldn't think of anything else) put its mask back on, looking superiorly to it's sibling.

"Master says he'll be back soon." The woman said, turning away.

"Don't tell him I was here."

"Why not?

"I got an excellent `job,'" The figure said, smirking.

"I see. Again?"

"Yes."

"Leave." The woman said flatly.

"Oh I'm so hurt," the figure said sarcastically, rolling it's eyes and jumping nimbly out the window.

The woman sighed. "Get themselves in trouble, come running back, go out again." She mumbled, cleaning up the room.

Kagome stared at her handcuffs, eyes tearing up.

Sesshoumaru quietly said, "Don't cry. It's not going to be a huge help to any of us."

"I want to mourn them. All- no, both of them." Her voice cracked, tears slipping down her face, descending from their prisons.

"Who…" Kagome couldn't think of any words to say.

"Someone probably very twisted, and very interesting." Sesshoumaru said boredly.

"Oh, don't take that tone with me! We're in this together, whether you like or not." Kagome snapped, scowling. "We need to bring whoever did this to light. And be able to actually prove it!"

"Whatever. He or she is obviously very into ending the Higuarashi line. And you're the last one." Sesshoumaru said calmly.

"Will you quit being so… calm?!" Kagome snapped. <A/N: wow she almost sounds guilty…. Hee hee that wasn't a clue.>

"Why should I? It's not like it's my family."

*sniff *

`Shit'

" Thanks so much fo-or cheering me-e up."

"Stop crying."

"And why should I?"

" *mumble *"

"Nani?"

" *mumble *"

"SPEAK UP ALREADY!"

"I hate to see girls cry."

"Whoa…. Did you just-"

"I hate it when girls cry because they look like sniveling babies."

Right then a big portly cop came into the room with a scowl that made his double chin look way bigger then it is. He grabbed Kagome and Sesshoumaru's forearms and took them to the door. The big mahogany door burst open from the court room to find a room full of people. The judge stared down at them like they were the scum of the earth.

"OK before we go to court I just wanna say one thing."

"Nani?"

" Does that cop look like a loaf of bread that is overflowing in the oven, because you put in to much yeast? Or is it just me"

At this the cop shoved Kagome to the podium and shoved Sesshoumaru to another. Sesshoumaru was laughing in his head but his mask was as stoic as ever.

"All right Ms. Higuarashi you claim to say that Mr. Inutaisho was with you at school the whole time that the incident was going on, am I right?"

"Yes your right your honor that is correct."

"And you Mr. Inutaisho claim to have the same alibi?"

"Yes your honor."

"Jury you may have a recess to decide your verdict."

" I think they are telling the truth."

"Yeah right I bet they are in it together and they killed her family."

"I bet she hates them so she hired him to kill her family."

"I agree. She doesn't act the part of a loving family."

"And that Sesshoumaru person seems the type to be an assassin."

"Yeah."

"Then all for guilty say I"

"All opposed?"

No one spoke.

"Then we have made our decision."

"Jury have you come to a verdict?"

"Yes your honor we the jury find Kagome Higuarashi and Sesshoumaru Inutaisho both guilty of the murder of the Higuarashi family."

Mizu: *Cheerfully eats Halloween candy * Want some? TOO BAD!!!!!!!!!

Mizu: Thank you; *Continues eating candy *

Sess: *evil glare * o DEAR sister would u mind coming and talking to me in the other room?

Tora: *whimper * I would rather stay out here with your daughter and eat candy.

Sess: o but you wouldn't want to stay out here with your neice all alone do you? *really sweet voice that you know is fake *

Tora: *scared voice * no I would really like to get hyper right here and eat more candy.

Sess: o but I insist. *throws Tora over shoulder and goes into other room *

Mizu: ……. Candy…….coffee……… wait where are they?

*noises come from other room that sounds like a body being slammed into the wall *…….*squeaks are also heard*

Mizu: ok and I am going now…..with my candy and coffee.
