HEY!!! CHAPTER FIVE!!! (I think). Yep, it is. I am SO!!!!! SO SO SO!!! Sorry about the "kinda dead" thing… anyway, this is chapter four for you, but five to me. Anyway again, please read on!

Kagome's eyes watered, and her lip trembled. Sesshoumaru's eyes widened.

"But-" he started in fury.

"The guilty should not speak." The judge glared at him. {A/N: I apologize… he found his wife cheating earlier that day. Heh. ^_^}

"Mr. Inutaisho, Ms. Higuarashi, you will stay in custody of the County Jail until we find a specially equipped prison for you to grace with your presences. A higher security, for one," He muttered.

"All right. The Jury is dismissed. Please exit through the left exit," the prosecutor said boredly. The jury rose and left.

The prosecutor glared at Sesshoumaru and Kagome. "Come on. We will escort you to the prison."

Kagome's mouth was open. How could this happen? She asked silently.

"But we haven't done anything." Sesshoumaru said, glaring.

"Whatever. You're still coming," The prosecutor said, shrugging.

Kagome and Sesshoumaru were forced onto the rather loud bus that was to transport them to the jail.

"Why?" Kagome mumbled, tears flowing down her cheeks. Sesshoumaru sighed, slightly uncomfortable.

The other convicts stared. The bus rocked a few times, and the officers were watching everyone carefully.

"Because. We have already been convicted in their minds. So it is their jobs to fulfill that as they see fit." Sesshoumaru said thinly.

Kagome shook. How could this happen? She'd read about it lots of times, but everything worked out in the end… Stupid! This isn't a book! {A/N: Au contraire. @_@}For all you know, you could be gone to jail! THIS IS REAL LIFE!!!!! She berated herself. {Lol. Au contraire again Kagome. ^_^}

Sesshoumaru mentally sighed, as he began reflecting. Everything, everyone present. They'll all pay. Sesshoumaru didn't dismiss the thought immediately. His eyes clouded, as he zoned out. {A/N: Lol. Sessy zoning? Uh oh.}

He was dragged back to reality.

A convict poked his shoulder. Turning, Sesshoumaru narrowed his eyes.

It was a boy, about his own age. He had dark hair, falling to his shoulders. It was tied back by a red ribbon. Sesshoumaru felt slightly disgusted already. He had glittery green eyes, full of lies and betrayal.

"Hey, what are you in for?" He asked, voice cool.

"Nothing." He said automatically and flatly.

"Ah. Denial?"

"Touch me one more time and I swear your head will be six feet away from your body." Sesshoumaru said coldly, removing the man's fingers from his shoulder.

The man laughed. "So that's why you're here?" He asked, amused.

Kagome cut in coldly. "Leave us alone." Sesshoumaru smirked. Apparently she was feeling better.

"Why? That's a very rude thing to say." He said, eyes flickering over her.

"Because, it's just a misunderstanding." Kagome bit out glaring.

"Really?" He asked, grinning.

"I'm in for multiple murders," He said, as if that would help.

"We aren't there yet." Kagome said firmly.

"Still in denial?" He asked, amused.

"There's nothing to deny. We're innocent." Sesshoumaru said wanly.
