"Go away you perverted demon"

"Ow, Ow, Ow okay I get the idea" Inuyasha jump up on a branch nearby with his back turned towards her. "Get dress, we're going"

"No, I not going anyway with you, and look at my clothes they're all torn up. Thanks a lot"

Inuyasha took off his fire rat robe and handed it to the girl who was still in the water trying to cover herself up.

"Huh? What's this?"

"It's my fire rat robe, where over your wearable clothes"

"Uh…" Kagome was stunned, he did something nice for her. She thought she would be force to have to wear just ripped up clothes. " Um, thanks" In that moment Kagome stomach started to rumble. "Um"

"Ha"

"I'm a little hungry"

"Here eat this" Inuyasha took out the rabbit he had killed early. "I'll start a fire"

It was about 20 minutes early and Inuyasha started a small fire and was now roasting it over an open raging flame.

"What's your name?"

"My name, my name is Inuyasha"

`Inuyasha' thought Kagome.

"The rabbit is done, here", he said handing her some of the roasted meat on a stick.

Kagome began eating the food she was given but noticed that Inuyasha wasn't eating.

"Aren't you going eat any?"

"I'm not hungry just eat till your full"

Kagome didn't know how to react just a few hours ago this guy was yelling at her and telling her to do this and that, now he was being rather nice.

It was near about 5, Kagome and Inuyasha had spent most of the day traveling through the western lands.

"It's getting dark, we going to stop" Inuyasha landed in area by a stream with a few trees. "I'll start a fire, just sit down and rest"

"O, Okay thanks" she yawned. She felt strange she didn't now what to expect. He had kidnapped her, and now was being very nice to her. Suddenly dozen of aquatic Youkais appeared and aimed right for. Inuyasha jumped up and screamed

"SAKON NO TESSO" but missed one and it headed straight for Kagome.

`Oh no I'm done for' she mentally screamed.

"Watch out Kagome" Inuyasha jumped right in the way of the demon and took the acid needle. Instead of falling he jumped at the Youkai and shredded it to pieces.

"Inuyasha! Are you okay?"

"I'm fine, what about you are you hu…err" he fell down on his knees while holding his stomach. He threw up right on the spot and collapse.

"Oh my god, are you okay"

"Ya I'm fine just reach in the left pocket of that robe I gave you to wear and pour the stuff in the pocket down."

"Okay", she did as she was told and let the purplish liquid drizzle down his open mouth. "You're a stupid fool, why did you risk your life for me."

"I don't know, I guess I kinda like you" It had only taken 10 minutes and he was back on his feet and moving around. "Here sleep on the tree branch up there I'll be around."

Kagome climbed up on the tree with a boost from Inuyasha. She lay there and started to fall in a slumber, until she notice that the silvered hanyou that had kidnapped her was gone.

"Inuyasha were are you."

"I'm right here go to sleep"

"Do you want your robe back?"

"No I don't, I'm not some weak human that can't handle a little cold." The truth was that he was freezing since the elixir hadn't fully cure the poison that came from the needle that hit earlier. He started to shiver.

"Can you sleep with me tonight"

"I'm not cold"

"I am" with that Inuyasha climbed up and let Kagome fall asleep on his chest. She felt safe in his arm even though she just knew him for a day. It felt like she knew him for her whole life. They fell asleep under the stars together that night
