hehe,I'm back! Or the stories back, whatever. Thanks to my reviewers. And nee-chan: Yes, I did trick you into saying you were a baka. Which just proves the point that you are. Oh, I wrote this quite a few days ago. My computer was messing up.
Sorry if our little argument is bothering you, readers. But she did get me back for it. She bit me. And, I know this is a short chapter, but the next one will be longer. I promise. On with the story now.
Chapter 6: Let's Sail!
"Okay. Well, we got better stuff than we had hoped. But this is great. Now we have the problem of getting it on the ship." Kagome sat at the edge of the stage thingy while Sango paced back and forth in front of her. The rest of the crew were sitting at the tables, anxiously waiting to know what to do next.
"We can just get the stuff we really need to put on the ship. And then later we can come back and get the other stuff when we get a perminent ship," Sango said. Kagome thought about it a moment. That would be good. It could work out that way.
"That just might work." Kagome jumped up and headed to her stuff. "Girls, only get the stuff we need. We'll be back. We leave in," she looked out the cavern to see darkness, "half an hour."
"How long is that?" Kit asked looking dumbfounded for a moment.
"Half an hour, dumby," Neko said, getting up. Ookami rolled her eyes at Kit's bewildered state.
"It's thirty minutes." Kit formed a little 'o' with her mouth and got up to get her stuff as well.

"Time to go!" Sango shouted at the exit. All the girls picked up their loads, most the same in weight. They had evened it out so no one had more to carry than another. Well, except Sango that is. Sango carried the big bundle from earlier on her back and on one shoulder she had a bag full of her stuff. Kagome had gotten out the weapons, and they had all picked. Kagome had picked emerald studded weapons with a snake design going up the handle of both sword and dagger. Sango had picked bright pink diamonds. On the blades of her weapons was a design of a fairy blowing something out of her hands. They were guessing it was fairy dust.
The girls filed out of the cavern and into the darkness of night, their only light the stars. All of them were wearing dark colored clothes and dressed like men, or men that are pirates, so they would not be noticed. They seperated into groups and filed out with plans to meet by the harbor.
Kagome and Sango walked silently the longest way to the harbor. Suddenly a door in front of them swung open and they heard voices. Kagome stiffened as she recognized them.
"Will we ever find her, my lord?" asked a woman's voice filled with worry.
"Yes. We will. There is no need to worry. When my son puts his mind to something, he does it. No questions asked. You should not worry, my lady. We will find your daughter and things will go as planned," a man's voice said, this one filled with confidence with only a hint of worry.
"That's what made her run away," the woman said. "She wanted to fall in love. She didn't want this. But I didn't want... There's no use for this. We'll just have to find her."
"And we will. Now, I must be on my way. My wife might worry." With that the man walked away in the direction the girls were headed. Kagome stood, stiff as a board, too shocked at seeing her mother talking to Inutashio. Then again scared... no worried that he might be heading towards the harbor. He turned left. They followed and turned right.
After a few minutes and they were almost to the harbor, Sango broke the silence. "What was that about?"
"Why should I know?"
"You acted like it."
"Like what?"
"Like you didn't want them to see you."
"Oh." Kagome sighed. "Yeah. I knew them. She's my mother and he... well, my soon-to-be father-in-law."
"Oh." They were silent the rest of the way. "They're all here," Sango said as we walked behind some barrels.
"We all ready?" Kagome asked the girls. They all looked up, with nervous or excited smiles, and nodded. "Let's go then!"
All of them followed Kagome and Sango as they sneaked over to the Shooting Star. They filed past the sleeping guards, through the dock, and onto the Shooting Star. They silently put their stuff in safe places and got in their appointed positions. Sango tested the wind. Nature was on their side tonight. Gano and Gino raised the sails. And they were off. "Let's sail!" Kagome yelled and the crew cheered.
At the harbor two sleeping guards awoke at the noise. They scrambled up and stared, dumbfounded, as the ship sailed away. In about five minutes, they came to their senses and ran off to tell the general. Ten minutes later, Sesshomaru stood there, watching the boat disappear in the distance. He clutched a green handkercheif in his right hand. "I will find you," he vowed. "I will find you. Kagome." His words flowed out into the air, and on the boat Kagome stood, watching the land diappear. She shivered as she heard the words echo in her head.

*shivers* wouldn't you shiver if you heard someone else's voice saying they'd find you? *shivers again* Anyway, please review.
