IT was the night of the new moon when a demon attacked keada's village, everyone fought hard and they finally won the battle and got a jewel shard out of the fight. It was then that they all heard the scream that echoed through the village, they all looked in the direction of the scream and saw Kagome on the ground clutching something black. They all ran to her, Sango being the first one there gasped at what she saw, Kagome was crying over Inuyasha's body all covered in blood, Sango looked away and started to cry.

Kagome did not hear Sango or anyone else as she cried for her lover. Her tears fell like the blood that ran out of the wound in Inuyasha's chest. His soft black hair that was so nice to touch was now coated with dry coagulated blood. His once warm and beautiful eyes were dull with death. Lifting her head up she could smell his blood on her face; she once again started to cry. Kagome could feel her tears ride over the drying blood of her lover.

Kagome started to cry again as she flung herself down on his body, sobs of pain wracked her body as she tried to get closer to her lover's body. She loved him, stayed with him, she had waited so long for him to ask her to be his mate and then to find out they could never have children because she was human and he was demon, At least half of him was and that difference was enough to cause problems but Kagome loved him the same. Even though he had tried to annull the mating, but Kagome would not let him. After that she had saw him run and play with the village children letting them call him uncle and at the same time protecting them with his very life, she had told him that she wanted to be at his side forever. Now he was lying dead before her with a hole in his chest. Her mate, her life, her forever, her lover Inuyasha.
