A/N: I'm helping my friend with this fic. He came up with the basic idea. I helped add some story and plot to it. I hope you enjoy it. There're two things we'd like to say. One...We don't own Inuyasha, and two...RRREEEVVVIIIEEEWWW!!!
The young woman looked around, from one side of the street to the other. There were only a few people around her. The light turned green and she began walking across the street, still looking both ways in case a car was going to go through the red light. She made it to the next corner and started walking across the block, stoping for a moment to yawn.
'Now's my chance!' A shady figure thought to himself as he jumped out of the shadows and landed behind the young woman.
She closed her mouth and blinked tiredly.
"Hey!" the man whispered into her ear. First, her ear flicked in annoyance, then, a moment later, the hanyou found himself pinned to the ground by a small female neko youkai who was now sitting on top of him, hissing. He struggled against her a few seconds before turning over, with her still attached to him and pinning her to the ground. He looked down into her eyes, holding her wrists above her head with one hand. She stopped moving as soon as she saw his face. "Kagome relax. It's just me." The cat hissed up at him.
"Inuyasha..." the demon warned. "I'm going to shred you if you don't let go of me RIGHT NOW!"
He smiled evily. "Why are you cats always so touchy?" Kagome hissed at him. He chuckled. "You don't even know how to use your powers!"
Kagome looked away, falling silent. "That's not my fault..." The hanyou saw a small tear as it rolled down her face.
'Shit! You made her cry!' his inner voice yelled at him. 'YOU IDIOT!!!' The hanyou immediately realesed her and lifted her to her feet. As soon as she hit the ground, the young demon ran away as fast as she could, tears filling her eyes. "I'm sorry..." the hanyou whispered, but she was gone.
