Hey everyone it's me again! So what did you think of the prolog? This chapter should be much longer *crosses fingers * Anyway… Let's get on with it shall we???

Then something caught her eye, it was the most beautiful man she had ever seen, he looked almost like Inuyasha, only taller and with a long fluffy tall. Gods did she want to touch it. He was walking over but (A.N. The but here was a be but I caught it and changed it on my comp) seemed to be in deep thought and didn't seem to notice her until he had all but walked into her.

Sesshoumaru was deep in thought when he ran into the beautiful Demoness. His head snapped up to watch as she stumbled back a few steps before starting to fall. He reached out and grabbed her arm in a firm grip, but not too hard as to hurt her.

Kagome let out a sigh of relief as she looked into the mans eyes. Wait a minute, she knew those eyes, yet at the same time they were foreign to her. They looked almost like Inuyasha's eyes, yet they were much colder, with no emotion showing in them. Straightening herself she held out her hand. "Hello, I am Lady Kagome. Who are you?"

Sesshoumaru couldn't help but stare at her. She didn't know who he was and she was married to his brother? Now that seemed a bit odd, but he decided that telling her who he was couldn't do any harm. "I am Lord Sesshoumaru of the western lands." He took her hand in his a gently placed a kiss upon it. While doing so he caught a whiff of her scent. What is this? She is still pure? But how can this be? I thought she had been married to my brother for some time now; surely he would have taken her. Unless… He cleared his mind, it was none of his concern whether or not his low life brother had taken his wife or not. But her scent was highly intoxicating, a mixture of flowers and fresh rain, he loved it.

Kagome just stood as Sesshoumaru stared at her; she knew he was smelling her out. But wait… Something rang a bell. Did he say Lord of the western Lands? But I thought that Inuyasha's brother ruled over the western lands. Which could only mean one thing. "You're Inuyasha's brother." She hadn't meant to say it aloud but it slipped.

"How very observant of you Lady Kagome. Now if you will excuse me I have to find that scum bag of a brother." Turning on his heels he walked away into the castle.

Kagome just stared after him, she had felt something when he had kissed her hand, but what was it? Should she even be feeling anything for this man? After all Inuyasha had said the Sesshoumaru was cold and heartless, not caring if anyone but himself lived or died. Yet with her he seemed civil, or was that because he treated all royalty that way? She just didn't know, so she decided to check it out, but she was going to need some help. Smirking her headed off to find her two best friends and bodyguards.

As Sesshoumaru entered the castle his mind went back to the lovely Lady Kagome. He had never seen and Inu-Youkai with such beauty before, not even his mother could compare to her. Yet the question still remained, why had his brother not claimed her yet? Surely it was not because he didn't want to, Gods standing next to her he wanted to rip off all her clothes and take her in the garden, not caring who would see. Could it be because she isn't willing? Shaking his head again, he had to remind himself that he didn't care; it was really none of his business what his brother did or did not do with his mate.

Turning down the hall Sesshoumaru ran into Inuyasha. "Well hello little brother, long time no see." His cold voice held no emotion as his eyes pierced those of his half brother.
