Grounded

 

 

“Mom it was the biggest party of the year and you crashed it!” Kagome whined, it was unfair, life was unfair and this was not helping it at all.

 

“It doesn't matter we told you not to go and you did. You are grounded, you are not allowed to go anywhere, and that means no phone, no TV, no computer, and no friends.” Kagome's mom finished her list that made her daughter look like she was going to have a heart attack. “So hand over your phone right now.”

 

“What!?! But summer just started what am I supposed to do? Dad make her stop you're the Prime Minster of Japan for Pete's sake make her stop.” Kagome looked at her father, looked up at his daughter, she gave him the best puppy eyes in the world. He was about to say something to his wife when he saw the death stare of his wife saying give in and you will die.

 

“I'm sorry sweetie but you were told not to go, how did you even get past Inuyasha in the first place… Inuyasha?” Inuyasha stepped forward from the corner of the room.

 

Kagome grinned and turned around in her chair to see him. “Yes Inuyasha do tell them how I got past you.”

 

Inuyasha stared at her and started to speak to her parents never once leaving her eyes. “Prime Minster I was sitting in the chair outside your daughter's door when I heard a moan, your wife's voice to be precise,” At this point both the Prime Minster and his wife started to blush. “So I ran to your room and heard more I was about to break down the door and see if everything was alright but then I picked up the scent of you two fu-”

 

“Alright, alright let's skip that part please.” The Prime Minster cleared his throat, his wife was still blushing and Kagome looked like she was going to throw up. “Go on, please.”

 

“Well after I found out I walked back to Kagome's room to think that she was asleep but after awhile I noticed that she didn't move or speak in her sleep then I realized that no one was in the room so I followed her scent and that lead to the party, called back up and got Kagome.” Inuyasha was still staring at Kagome and her face in disbelief how could just pull that out of nowhere like that? “I'm sorry that I fail to keep your daughter here I just thought that you were in danger and needed help.”

 

Oh bullshit, they're not going to believe that! Kagome thought with a smirk.

 

“Well thank you for your concern, but it was um… not required.” Kagome's jaw dropped. They believe that, that bullshit!!!! What the hell!!!

Inuyasha's smirk grew wider. “Isn't that what happened Kagome?” All three of them turned to her waiting for her answer to either save or destroy her social life.

 

I can't tell them what really happened they would kill me even more! What choice do I have, tell them I tied Inuyasha down to a bed and then ran? Kagome took a breath, “Yeah that's what happened. Need I remind you it was the biggest-”

 

“NO!” All three of them yelled.

 

“Fine I'm going to my room… wait a minute if I'm grounded that means I don't have to go to the Peace Party thing this weekend?” Kagome asked with hope in her eyes. Last year she had to sit with all the French people not understanding a single thing (I have nothing against French people I love them and all Nationalities).

 

“Wrong we have to represent the country of Japan as a family! And besides…” A that moment Kagome phone went off as the song “Buy You A Drank” start to play. Before Kagome could answer her mother grabbed it away answering it with the sweet voice disguising the evil tone it usual took on. “Hello… no this is her mother… yes… oh hello Kouga,” Inuyasha started to growl at the name while for the first time Kagome's dad put down the paper and Kagome blushed a little. “Why yes she is going to the Peace Conference… why I think she would love to go with you… alright… why don't you and your parent come over her the day before and go shopping with us… yes Kagome would be thrilled… alright see you.” Kagome mom hung up the phone and slipped into her pocket.

 

Inuyasha was still growing and Kagome just stared, trying to stare daggers at her mom… it wasn't working. “MOM! How could you? I don't even want to go and now you're making me go with KOUGA! Why do you hate me?”

 

“Kouga's a nice boy you show give him a chance, besides I think you two would make a good couple.” Her father said from under the sports section of the paper.

 

“What? You think… that we… dad no offense you do a great job at running the country but never say those words again, promise me?”

 

“Whatever.”

 

“Those words too!” Kagome cried.

 

“Look you are going to the Conference WITH Kouga and you are going to have a good time. Now no more talking, you are not to leave this house until we go shopping and we are going to go with Kouga's parents and Kouga. Now go to your room!”

 

“But-” Kagome started

 

“MARCH!!!” She shouted.

 

Kagome started to walk to her room when she noticed Inuyasha was behind her still. “What do you want?” She growled out.

 

“I'm your body guard I'm suppose to protect you.”

 

“And lie to my parents too?” She whirled around to him.

 

“Did you really want me to tell them what happened?” Inuyasha growled at her. “What you did was dirty and it wont work again… the worst part is you didn't finish.” He ended quietly.

 

“What did you say?”

 

“Nothing. Just go to your room and stay there this time.”

 

“Fine!” Kagome continued done the hall, the silence between them began to grow slowly with every step. Then what Kagome's mom said came back to her that Kouga was going to go shopping with her. “Oh Inuyasha are you are my body guard right?”

 

“Yes and don't think you can't get me to quit.” Where's she getting at? Inuyasha wondered.

 

“So you are coming shopping with me, my mom, Kouga's parents AND Kouga?” Kagome asked in a sweet voice.

 

“I have to I'm… WHAT!” Inuyasha screamed grabbing Kagome's shoulders making her turn and look at him.

 

“Don't tell me you forgot about Friday me, Kouga, my mom and his parents together. Because of his parents coming they will have about a million body guards so you could take a day off because, their will be so many there you don't have to come. Wont that be nice, for you, a day off.”

 

“Like hell I am he tried to rap you on the boat you think that I'll let you go around with you for the whole day. He could grab you and take you some where or… or…” Inuyasha was so into his thought he did know Kagome was gone until he looked up and saw her walking away.

 

“Hey wait up.” He cried running after her.

 

Kagome and Inuyasha reached her door still mad at each other. Kagome was about to open the door when Inuyasha put his hand on it. “What are you doing I have to go to bed sometime and-”

 

Inuyasha put his hand on her mouth to make her shut up, there was something coming from her room. Inuyasha placed his ear to the wall. There is someone in there. Inuyasha let go of Kagome mouth and put a finger to his lips telling her to be quite. Kagome looked puzzled then there came a thud from the room at even Kagome could hear.

 

Kagome's eyes got big when she saw Inuyasha reach for his gun. Inuyasha push Kagome back and broke down the door with his foot, running in he turned on the light and pointed the gun at a small figure by the night stand, was a boy about 12 years old holding a small pink book in his hand. He looked know as if was going to pee his pants.

 

“Sota! What are you doing in my room…? With my diary? I'm going to kill you!” Kagome lunged at Sota but he recovered from his fright of having a gun pointed at him long enough to move out of his sister's way.

 

“Really Kagome I don't know why you put up with your other friends they're bimbos trying to set you up with Hojo and they really don't care about you the only one I like is Sango. But this Hobo guy is really dull or that's what you write about. Really why did you even go out with him in the first place?” Sota just keep going on about what was in her diary while a certain half-demon growled.

 

“Sota get out or I'll tell your little friends when I see them what you did after you saw 1408.” Kagome screamed at him.

 

“You wouldn't.”

 

“Read my diary again and your first pony ride will be all over youtube in a matter of seconds.” Kagome stated with an evil grin.

 

“Bitch.” Sota muttered as he left the room.

 

“What did you say do you want the first time you used the potty on there too?” Kagome asked throwing a pillow at him.

 

Sota ran out letting the pillow and the diary hit the floor near Inuyasha's feet. Kagome walked over and grabbed the book before he could.

 

“So Kagome who is this Hojo guy?” Inuyasha asked with a fake sweetness in his voice.

 

“Just this guy my friends tried to set me up with but he was really boring not like you.” Kagome's head shot up and looked at Inuyasha, a blush crept on her face. “Inuyasha I'm tired I think I'm going to bed. Goodnight.” Kagome started to push Inuyasha out the door when he turned around and looked down into her eyes. His golden eyes melting her brown ones, Inuyasha moved his hand across her cheek before taking her lips as his own.

 

Kagome didn't know what happened but it was great. Kagome moaned opening her mouth to his tongue. Kagome rapped her arms around his neck and him around her waist bringing the two closer.

 

Inuyasha broke the kiss away panting but still held Kagome in his arms. Kagome raised her head up again for another kiss but Inuyasha stopped her.

 

“What, what's wrong?” Kagome asked she looked as if she was about to cry.

 

“Kagome I want you so bad, but I don't want this to be a one night stand, I want this to be something more.” With that said Inuyasha gently kissed Kagome on the fore head and left closing the door behind him.

 

Kagome smiled. I want this to be something more too Inuyasha.
