Kagome was in Sango's room. She was brushing her long, dark brown hair. This is her daily ritual ever since her cousin moved in with her and Hojo. Let's say its sort of like bonding, in a quiet way.

 

They were in front of a mirror while Kagome was brushing her hair. The room was dark since the curtains were covering the windows. Kagome was looking at the mirror while she was brushing the hair. She saw Sango's eyes looking down and her head was nodding off and on.

 

Kagome bit her lower lip. She would love to have a conversation with her again sometime, like they used to before the whole incident happened. They used to talk to each other about everything and gossiped what was going on in the castle. They acted more like sisters than cousins.

 

The queen decided to give it a shot to make a conversation.

 

“So Sango, what do you think about Shippo so far?” she asked as she went through the brown hair with a brush.

 

Sango just moaned in reply.

 

`What's going through your mind Sango? What happened to you back when I married Hojo?' Kagome pondered.

 

When she was done brushing her hair, Kagome put the brush on the desk. She kissed Sango's forehead and left the room. She closed the door quietly and she started to weep. This is not the Sango she remembered. Sango was carefree and smiled a lot. But, she did know her place at the appropriate times.

 

The queen decided to go to the stables to ride the horse that was given to her from InuYasha as a wedding gift. Like Hojo, she hasn't ridden for a while.

 

Kagome went to the stables and asked for the horse she wanted. She placed herself on the top and started to canter and then went into a gait.

 

While she was riding, she was forgetting her problems. She was forgetting Sango, not being able to get pregnant, her lust to InuYasha, and so much more. Kagome felt the wind whip at her face and her hair flying behind her.

 

She didn't bother what was going on around her, didn't bother where she was going. She just needed to forget things, needed to clear her mind.

 

Kagome arrived at a lake with willow trees and sakura trees surrounding it. Kagome jumped off and placed her feet into the cool, blue water. She sighed. It was nice to be outside of the castle. Being inside of the same atmosphere day after day, inhaling the same air was not very healthy for the mind.

Miroku appeared from behind her. “Good day Queen Kagome.”

 

Kagome jumped in surprise. “Oh, good day Miroku, what can I help you with?”

 

“Nothing really, but there is something I should tell you. I believe the person that will betray Hojo is in the castle.”

 

Kagome looked puzzled at the man who sat next to her. “What do you mean betray Hojo? Who would ever do such a thing?”

 

“Ah, but you should know that people are greedy for the throne my lady.”

 

“Yes, but it's just odd that someone would do that. Everybody respects the king.”

 

“You see, things change and the past can hunt us whenever they think it's time,” said Miroku.

 

`What doe he mean, the past can hunt us?' Kagome pondered. When she was about to ask the wizard what he meant, he was gone.

 

Kagome's face was in disbelief. She should have known he would do something like that; he does it a lot.

 

Just overhead, Kagome saw a big raven with glossy feathers pass. It was squawking and shrilling. It sent shivers down her spine and goose bumps over her body.

 

`This must be a bad omen. Maybe Miroku was right. I should leave,' thought Kagome and she stood up and started walking over to her horse.

 

Before she was to her horse, she felt a hand go over her mouth. She started to scream.

 

“Shut up you bitch or I would really have to hurt you,” sneered a voice.

 

Kagome was silent before he would do such a deed. The man started to chuckle. He led her to a boat and started to row to a small island that was at a far end in the lake. Kagome took a good look at the man who was kidnapping her.

 

He had dark brown hair that that was in a low ponytail. He had freckles on his cheeks that starting to fade away.

 

`He must be exiting adolescence,' she thought.

 

“What do you want me for?” she asked the man.

 

“I am doing what my mistress wants me to do,” replied the man and he kept on rowing. They were at the island and the man literally grabbed Kagome and dragged her to an abandoned house. Panic started to rise in Kagome's chest. Her heart started to beat faster and faster.

 

He opened the door and pushed her inside and shut the door loudly. Kagome slinked against a wall, like a pet that was afraid that it's master would hit it.

 

The man gave her a toothy grin. “There's nothing to be afraid of my queen, I would not do anything…rash.”

 

Kagome gasped. She must try to distract him from whatever he was planning. “What's your name?”

 

“My name is Kohaku,” he replied, “And I know what you are trying to do. I have been a kidnapper for awhile and I never fail at this.”

 

`Shit!' she shouted in her mind.

 

She felt hands on her shoulders and felt her the sleeves slipping off of her shoulders. She kicked the shins of her captor and he howled in pain.

 

She was about to run when she was held back from a fierce grip. She was pushed onto the floor. Kohaku put his legs on top of hers and held her hands at the top of her head. He went to her mouth and forced his tongue into her mouth.

 

Kagome tried to defend herself, but the man was too strong for her. Kohaku placed his throbbing groin to her womanhood. Kagome fought back a moan. She tried to thrash her hips away from his already erected manhood. Kohaku was getting tired of this game and backslapped her.

 

A red mark appeared on her face and couldn't speak since she was in shock. This was the first time she had been struck. She was frozen in her place.

 

Kohaku grinned at this advantage and tore the dress from her body. Kohaku grinned at his new prize. `She's beautiful, now mine,' he thought greedily.

 

He quickly threw his clothes off. Kagome came back to reality and gazed at his very hairy body.

 

“No, please don't!” she cried. Kohaku shut her up by brutishly kissed her.

 

`Please, InuYasha or Hojo, please save me from this rude intrusion I am about to receive,' Kagome prayed.

 

She then felt the tip of Kohaku's manhood and her body instinctively started to betray her. Kagome cursed at it.

 

Kohaku grabbed a breast and squeezed it very firmly. Just as he about to thrust his manhood into her, they heard a loud crash. Kagome held her breath.
