Back in Hong Kong, Kikyo was in her dark room. She was working on this potion a few days after Shippo arrived t her half-brother's castle. She did a lot of research on aging. When she found the perfect one, she started on it without delay.

 

Kagura had to go to the room every other hour to see if her friend wasn't straining on herself. She had to bring food, water, and her medicine. Whenever Kagura didn't see Kikyo in the room, she knew that she was seeing her son. She realized that Kikyo couldn't pass a day without seeing her child. Talk about a mother's love!

 

Kikyo was staring at her cauldron. She needed one more ingredient, but what could it be? She was pondering on the thought for a while. In the spell she needed a piece of a parent's hair, blood of a baby rabbit, and bitterroot. But what else does she need to complete it?

 

Then, she got it. “Of course, that's all I need.” Then she transformed into a raven and went to Japan.

Miroku was sitting outside on a balcony that was attached to his tower. He was looking through his telescope. It's one of the ways to see the future. He heard a knock on the door and walked to answer it.

 

“Who is it?” he asked before he opened it.

 

“It's Kagome, Miroku. May I come in?”

 

The wizard opened it and allowed the queen to come in. Kagome walked in and looked around, observing Miroku's room.

 

“What brings you here?” Miroku asked his queen. He showed her a seat that she could take. Kagome obliged and sat.

 

“Well, you rarely spend time with the living world. So, I thought I could visit you,” answered Kagome.

 

Miroku smiled. “I have no place with humans. I am different than the others. My only purpose here is to advise the king for serious situations and see the future if anything grim is happening.”

 

The sovereign looked at the druid. She felt bad for him; she could only imagine what it's like for him. `I wonder how long he felt this way,' she thought.

 

“Miroku, how old are you?” she asked him, leaning a little closer.

 

“I am four hundred years old,” he replied.

 

“Did your parents ever spend any time with you?”

 

“I have no parents. I am born when lightning hits a rare type of marble. It has to have iron in order for it to be hit from lightning. It takes me years to master the powers of a druid and wizard. Wizards live up to five hundred years,” he told her.

 

Kagome knew that it would be interesting. But it was sad that they live up to five hundred years. “Do wizards love?”

 

Miroku found this conversation enjoyable. He never talked to someone this long. Sure, he had conversations with Hojo, but it was only on stern topics. “Yes, but it only has to be with female wizards. They can never have children since wizards don't have the necessities to have children.”

 

Kagome nodded her head. But, there was actually a reason she came up here. InuYasha. He was keeping something from her and he isn't telling her that's bothering him. She needs to know what it is.

 

“Miroku, can I ask a favor?” she said.

 

“Why, of course, what is it?” he answered.

 

“I need to know what InuYasha is keeping from me, can you please find out what it is?” she asked.

 

“I guess I can, but that's invading someone's privacy. It can be something that you won't like. Are you sure you want to do this?”

 

“Yes, I am positive.”

 

Miroku went to the cauldron and Kagome followed. He waved his hand over the water and Sesshomaru's head appeared.

 

“You have a question, my master?” he asked the druid.

 

“Yes, the queen would like to know what InuYasha's keeping from her. Can you please tell us what it is?” said Miroku.

 

Sesshomaru's head disappeared and a scene didn't appear after some minutes. The scene that appeared before her eyes was after Hojo left to join her. She became disgusted when the men were hooting after him. Then, she saw Sango coming into the dining hall. Kagome couldn't believe that she looked so sane. She saw InuYasha staggering towards her. Kagome heard the whole conversation. She couldn't believe that he thought that her cousin was she!

 

The next scene showed Sango dragging InuYasha towards an empty bedroom. She saw him throwing their clothes off and having sex. “I don't want to see anymore, please stop,” she whispered. It did stop and the water was calm and empty.

 

“Are you all right, my lady?” asked Miroku. Kagome shook her head and left the tower.
