*Thank you for the people who reviewed my story. It really means a lot.
A few days later, the king and queen received a letter, telling them that InuYasha and Sango were married and that she was pregnant. The king was outraged that he married, in what he called, “a bitch with prostitute problems.” Kagome was emotionless. She already knew what was going on.
The queen was starting to feel unwell, but she surpassed it as what the conditions were, the InuYasha and Sango conditions to be exact. That she was feeling unwell that it was going to her head and her body couldn't take it anymore.
During those few days, Kagome was feeling depressed. She couldn't remember the last time she felt disheartened. Hojo didn't even notice it since he was always busy with business.
Kaede was in her bed since she had fallen ill. Kagome felt that her world was turning upside down ever since InuYasha slept with her ex-cousin. The doctors told her that her old nurse's lungs were filling with liquid and that it was too soon to pump it out. They estimated that she would pass away early the next morning. And she did.

Kikyo put the bottle of the potion in her beak when she transformed into the raven. Before she did that, she told Kagura not to wait up for her and that she would be in Japan for a while.
She flew into Shippo's room. Her son was previously in the room, reading a book. He lowered his books and saw his mother standing by the window. She was holding the bottle in one hand while her other was resting on a windowsill. He saw the bottle and smiled.
“I presume that you are finished with the potion, mother?” he asked.
Kikyo smiled back. “Yes, I am, although you have to take it on the full moon. You need the influence of the full moon in order for it to work. So, you'll drink it in approximately in a day.”
She walked towards her son and placed it on his outstretched hand. He put it on eye level and studied it.
“Hmm, very interesting. Are you sure it will work?” he asked.
His mother snorted. “Of course it will. Don't doubt your mother again!”
Shippo didn't shy away from his mother's spitefulness. He was use to it. He did grow up at her side for ten years, has he not?
Kikyo decided to change the subject. It was getting rather boring to her. “Have you practiced with your sword?”
“Yes, mother, I have. Really whenever that damned queen and father don't try to find me.”
Kikyo nodded her head. She knew that SHE would get in the way.
But Shippo didn't mind. He actually loved the queen. She would always talk to him and listen to him. She was beautiful and enchanting. Maybe when he drinks the potion and fight his father, she could be his queen. He smiled at the thought.
His mother looked at him strangely. Her son was smiling abnormally. That isn't like him at all. Something was occupying his mind, making him fantasize about certain things that she couldn't even figure out. She could, but she doesn't want to be acquainted with what it is.
She exhaled noisily. “Oh Shippo, mind as well go to bed. You have a big day tomorrow. I know that you will succeed.”
They did what they did every night. Kikyo usually left the bedside after she kissed her son on the forehead, but this time she stayed. She was gazing at her son's slumbering face and never felt so on top.
