It was dawn when Shippo left the castle. Supposedly, his mother made camp and was gathering an army to crush her half brother's castle…and life. Shippo gathered his sword and anything else he could think of that he might need for the war.

 

He slipped into the dawning, morning air. Shippo quietly slinked past the guards. He then jumped over the castle wall and landed on the ground with a quiet thump. He looked both ways to see if anyone was coming. Shippo jogged to a horse that was placed in the woods. He set off the five-mile journey to the camp.

“What do you mean he is not his room? Did you check the grounds?” asked Hojo. He was just informed that Shippo was not his room.

 

“Yes, You Majesty, we checked everywhere when we found that he wasn't in his room,” said the servant.

 

Hojo's face became red when he was containing anger. He was scared in fact. He did not if he was kidnapped somehow in the middle of the night, or he acted his boyish ways when daddy said no and ran away. Hojo's parental instincts began to act up. He never felt so nervous before in his life, except when he was getting married, but that's a whole different reason.

 

Kagome laid a hand on his shoulder to comfort him, but he shrugged it off. Kagome tried to not let it go to her. She knew that he was under a lot of pressure, right?

 

“Send the knights out and the scouts. Send spies too just in case. I want everyone to look for my son and tell me anything that's going on. Go!” he ordered.

 

Everyone ran out of the room. They didn't want to spend any more time in the king's presence. Now, this leaves just Hojo and his wife.

 

“I know they will find him,” he whispered.

 

“Yes, Hojo, I know they will,” replied Kagome. But she did know that there's a small possibility that they will come back alive. At least one will. Since she overheard Kikyo and Shippo's conversation, she didn't think they would want their plan ruined.

It was dusk when Shippo finally made it. He was directed to a tent where his mother was waiting for him. He entered it and saw his mother lying naked on a table, getting massaged by a well-muscled man. He was kneading her breasts and she was moaning. She opened her eyes and saw her son sitting on the couch. She told the man to continue since Shippo was quite use to it. He has also seen her have sex before.
