InuYasha Fan Fiction ❯ Prove It! ❯ There's Now Way... ( Chapter 1 )

 

Inuyasha ran into the woods, trying to hold back his tears and his sobs. “How could I have just done that?! How could I possibly think he would actually feel the same way?! He's a such a lady's man! There's no way he'd love a guy! I'm so stupid! Stupid! Stupid! STUPID INUYASHA!!!” He said to himself. Then he thought he heard someone running behind him…so he ran faster. Trying to loose the fool who was chasing him. While he was running, he was trying hard not to think about what just happened. But feeling all this pain, this embarrassment of what he'd done, it wasn't working…

“Inuyasha! Stop! Wait! I'M SORRY! Its all my fault! I shouldn't have gotten your hopes up…I mean…I well…I thought he…I thought his…his feelings were mutual…but…I thought wrong. I'm so sorry Inuyasha!” Kouga said, trying to stop his friend…and `never-will-be' love. He was going to tell him how he felt today, but Inuyasha was too excited and just blurted out that he like Miroku in front of Kouga. Kouga knew he couldn't just say that he like him just right after what Inu said. Instead he just gave him clues that maybe he feels the same way. He wanted Inuyasha to be happy that's why he told him to go for it…despite his feelings. When really inside, he wanted Inuyasha to be with him. But in a way if it did turn out like it was supposed to, he would still be happy, because that would make Inu happy and that was good enough.

 

“No! Don't…don't even bother…its not…its not you're fault…don't blame yourself!” Inuyasha yelled at Kouga, tears starting to form in his eyes. Oh how badly he wanted to just grab and hold onto him. All this time, he was always stressing about his feelings. Yeah he knew he liked Miroku, but Kouga was his best friend. He didn't know weather they were just best friends or if he actually liked him too. Now he that he knows Miroku never liked him the same way…he still had a chance of being saved. Kouga. Maybe Kouga could heal the pain he was feeling right now. Maybe Kouga could be the one…

 

“Yes it was! It was my fault! I was the one who told you to go for it! I was the one who got your hopes up and then in the end…ended up getting crushed! And you say it wasn't me??? Look…” Kouga paused and sighed deeply. “I don't even understand why he turned you down.” He then stepped closer to Inuyasha, looking at him with loving eyes. “You're a great person.” He cupped Inuyasha's cheek into his hand. Inuyasha look at him, but only to look back down onto the ground again.

 

Inuyasha sighed then laughed a little because of his stupidity thinking Miroku could ever like him. “Heh…I know why…its obvious…I can't believe you don't know.” He said wiping his tears away.

 

“Oh? Then why?” He questioned, curious. How could Miroku not see Inuyasha the way he does?

 

“B-b-because…its be because no one likes half demons. Humans nor demons. No one likes us.” Inuyasha replied, tears starting to run down his face again. “We're between them…no one wants anything between a human and a demon! It's either humans with other humans, demons with other demons...“ Inuyasha then thought about his parents…“or humans with demons. But then only to end up producing someone like me. Later on, the child will have to live as an orphan…all alone because the mother nor the father will accept him. Even we half demons despise each other. Hate one another and ourselves for being what we are!” He yelled the last part out. He couldn't take it. There was no way of becoming a full demon now…now that Naraku has finally got the Shikon Jewels. He'd fight for it…that is if he knew where Naraku fled to now. No one knows where he is…or if he's still alive. Even if he was dead, Naraku probably used the jewels by now.

 

“How can you say such a thing?!?! That is not true! I mean…you're mother loved you right? She was fully human! When other people teased you, you're mother was the one who protected you right? And I bet if your father was still here…he'd do the same!” Kouga said trying to prove his friend wrong.

 

“Even though! There's still like a zillion more people and creatures in the world! My parents are only 2 out of that much Kouga! I'm telling you now! No one likes half demons!” Inuyasha snapped. Kouga's help wasn't working. He knew well enough how people thought about him, he have seen a lot of half demons being killed by demons and humans. That's probably why there aren't much left! Because of being killed. “Face it! Theres no way you can prove it Kouga!,” He said to confirm he was finished. `I still thank you for trying to comfort me, but its never going to work. Theres no way you can prove to me that--' Inuyasha was cut from his thoughts by soft pairs of lips on his own.

 

Kouga kissed Inuyasha trying to calm him down. 'Oh I'll prove it…'. He's going to finally tell Inuyasha that he loves him. Maybe. Just maybe this will work. That would be proof that not everybody hates half demons. Then he suddenly felt Inuyasha kiss back. He licked Inu's bottom lip, seeking entrance. Inuyasha moaned then opened up his lips for Kouga. Oh how he wanted this to last forever. Kouga then moved onto Inuyasha's neck. He nipped and sucked till there was a mark…a mark to say he was his. He slowly made his way to Inuyasha's ear and whispered…”I love you. Does that prove to you now? I love you…Inuyasha”.

 

Inuyasha was surprised. He was staring wide-eye at nothing. When Kouga was finally done kissing him, he looked at Inu. He was crying again. `Why is he crying? I just proved to him that I loved him!'. Kouga wiped Inuyasha's tears away. He was going to ask him why he was crying but was too late. Inuyasha pulled Kouga into another passionate kiss. Inuyasha was saved! Kouga loves him! Then he suddenly had an idea.

 

Inuyasha then kissed his way to Kouga's ear. But instead of nipping at the neck, he was nipping at Kouga's jaw. He wanted Kouga to prove that he loved him…other than words. `This is going to be so much fun!' Inuyasha thought.
