I don't own Inuyasha…..
The air was strangely still, causing a sedating effect on the inhabitance of the forest. Lord Sesshomaru peered up at the evening sky as the wing whistled through his hair tossing it to and fro. Something didn't feel right, yet at the same time everything was content. “Lord Sesshomaru sama” a voice piped in ruining the moment. Sesshomaru turned his attention towards the source of the voice with no emotion masking his face. Rin bound towards him in one leap. A small toad like demon following her frantically. “Rin” Sesshomaru said monotone “Jaken……you were to watch her” his voice was calm with no emotion but the toad new the anger that lurked in his words. “Oh, mi lord this stupid human girl refuses to listen to me!” he
yelled in one quick breath as he came to a halt in front with his lord “please forgive me”. Sesshomaru turned his head acting as if the two weren't there. He continued to walk away “we will rest hear”. “my lord!” jaken yelled in a huff. “I will return” his voice was like a whisper.
The feeling that something was out of place seamed to haunt Sesshomaru as he walked. It was unusual for everything to be so content in the forest. Not even a bird made its presence known. The trees were at a standstill, as if they were awaiting some catastrophic event to happen and were just watching…waiting. The forest melted into a river of greens as Sesshomaru took up speed. And then turned into an ocean of blue as he ran into a clearing, tall grass grew from the ground acting as small hands smacking Sesshomaru in the chest and occasionally the face. It didn't faze him thought, he took it
as a challenge and used his demonic speed to run faster. A new smell hit his noise `it's a human' he realized. He Halted at a girl laying unconscious on the ground, grass hovered over her. Long brown curls lay wild showering her body and the area around her. Sesshomaru walked a circle around her, inspecting her odd clothing. She was wearing a pear of tight faded blue pants they were torn in the knee and had grass and mud
stains everywhere. Her shirt was simple, it was blue and kind of looked like it could be an undergarment {tank top}. Her attire was strange it wasn't really inappropriate just not something women wear as clothing in these times. They had no markings or symbols for Sesshomaru to distinguish her status. It was unlike any other outfit he has ever seen. `is she a village girl?' he thought. His curiosity seamed to spike as he knelt down to smell the human laying before him. She smelled like an arrangement of freshly picked flowers. she didn't smell bad like most humans, didn't repulse him like most either. She reminded him of that girl that followed his brother around. She was so strange and dressed so weird. Sesshomaru had a weird feeling about the girl lying before him. The image of Rin came into his head with the smell of flowers looming at him. The small human girl did need someone to take care of her more companionate then Jaken. Someone that understood her humanly ways. `Rin needs someone to occupy her' he thought as he inspected the girl once last time for any broken bones. Satisfied he grabbed her by the rist and pulled her up then held her limp body bridal style. His curiosity also could be fulfilled if he were to nurse her wounds, find out who she is and where she is from. And what it was about her that set a red flag in his mind. He walked back to his company.
