A/N: So it's my turn to take a shot at Miroku/Kagome fanfictions ^_^ So heres the first chapter ^_^ Read it and enjoy.

Chapter one- The Fated Meeting

"Oi, Kagome!" a voice yelled from the other end of the hallway. A raven haired girl spun in the direction of the voice, a smile plastered on her face.
"Ohayo Inuyasha," she exclaimed when her raven haired cousin stopped next to her at her locker. "how are you," he asked looking her in the eye. He knew something had been bugging her for a while now, but every time he asked she'd just brush it aside.
"Oh... I'm all right I suppose," she answered and turned back to her locker. She flinched a little when he placed his hand on her should and turned her around to face him again. "Is there something wrong Inuyasha?"
"You see, that question to me seems wrong. Because I should be asking you. You've been acting really weird lately and you flinch away from almost ever guy you come close to..." he stated as he pulled her into a hug. "Now tell me what the hell is wrong with you!"
"It's nothing Yash," she answered with a smile. "Don't worry about it!"
"Seriously Kagome," he muttered then held her out at arms length. "Tell me what's wrong."
"For the last time... It's. Nothing!" she grown out, her blue-gray eyes lit in a spark of anger. "Just drop it," she whispered.
"If that's what you want," he muttered then turned away from her with his arms crossed over his chest. "Just promise me something."
"What?"
"If things get worse with Uncle Naraku gets worse. Tell me, I won't hesitate to rip that man to pieces."
"Demo.."
"Yes, Kagome, I know he's done something to you."
"Demo... HOW?!"
"You'll find out sooner or later, now go to the office. When I walked by Mrs.Mitsuko was looking for you. Something about wanting you to show some new kid around. I dunno."
Kagome sighed a little and walked past him. "I'll see you later Yash."

"We have a new student for you Kagome," Mrs.Mitsuko said motioning to a boy with black hair, and beautiful violet colored eyes. "Higurashi Kagome, this is Houshi Miroku. As student Ambassador you will help him until he feels comfortable," she said then turned to Miroku. "You'll like her... She's a really friendly person."
He laughed on the inside, "Oh I'm sure I will." He turned to look Kagome over. "Ano... Houshi-kun?" she blushed while he looked her over. "Come with me... I'll show you around the school first."
"Ah yes," he said as Kagome led him out of the office.

Kagome slowly made her way around the school with Miroku following close behind. She showed him where most of the class rooms were, and now they stood in the middle of the hall talking.
"So, lemme see your schedule so I can know where to drop you off," she said holding out her hand, in which he placed the piece of paper. As she scanned it she failed to notice the hand that was moving towards her bum. When the offending hand came in contact she let out a little 'eep!' and started whimpering.
"Kagome-sama, are you all right? I didn't mean to scare you," he murmured as he pulled his hand back.
"It's fine," she stood up. "Eh, well all of your classes are with me so I'll show you to your first class." She turned and walked in the direction of her honors genetics class. "So where did you come from," she asked as they walked towards the science hall.
"Well, I've actually lived here for a while, but I was being home schooled," he explained.
"Do you know anyone that schools here?"
"Well, I do have a few friends that I know who go here but other then that no."
"Oh well who are they? Maybe I know them!"
"Well, there's this girl her name is Sango, and then there's a guy that I'm pretty close with, his name is Inuyasha."
Kagome gasped, "Inuyasha is my cousin, and Sango-chan is my best friend. Well, I wonder why neither of them ever mentioned you Houshi-kun."
"Well, that's because they were told not to say anything. Of course those were orders from Kaede-baba, and normally Inuyasha is horrible at following them... Oh shit," he said and slapped a hand over his mouth, only to have Kagome reach a hand up and pull it down giggling. "I'm afraid I've said far to much Kagome-sama."
"I'm just curious, but why are you speaking to me so formally?"
"Ah, that's my secret Kagome-sama... Well, Sango, and Inuyasha know along with Kaede and some weird man named Naraku. Inuyasha said something about knowing him."
Kagome gasped again and grabbed Miroku's hand. "How do you know my stepfather?"
"He's your..."
"Yes, now tell me how you know him."
"He's made a name for himself, that man has. But no one ever mentioned he had a daughter through marriage, or that it was you," he slapped a hand over his mouth again realizing that he'd been saying to much. "Anyways, we should be getting to class Kagome," and with that they went to class.
