She nodded her head to him and uttered a soft Ôthank you.Õ On the wall directly across from the door a vast half circle reception desk sat between twin staircases that met at a central lading above. On the right and left walls were rows of shiny steel door elevators, four to each side.Kagome walked to the receptionists desk and waited for the red headed receptionist to get off the phone.ÒHow may I help you,Ó The red head asked politely.ÒIÕm here for the audition I heard was supposed to be here,Ó Kagome answered.ÒOh my,Ó The receptionist gasped, ÒThe auditions were yesterday,Ó She said sadly.Kagome's heart sank. Ò Oh well I guess IÕll just ÒWait,Ó The receptionist said, ÒThe guys are still here if you still want to try out.ÓÒBut,Ó Kagome started.ÒThey havenÕt picked the lead yet,Ó The red head interrupted.Kagome shrugged and followed the receptionist to the elevator and watched her push the button for the fourth floor.ÒThis is it,Ó She told her as the doors opened. ÒItÕs your first door on the right.ÓÒThanks,Ó Kagome said stepping out of the elevator.ÒNo problem,Ó The receptionist replied before the elevator doors closed.Kagome's heart was beating over time when she knocked on the black painted door.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ÒNo,Ó Sesshomaru stated.ÒOh come on sheÕs perfect,Ó Inuyasha, Miroku, and Shippo all protested.ÒYou mean except for the fact that she canÕt sing,Ó Rin pointed out.ÒI will not have her lead us,Ó Sesshomaru stated plainly.ÒÒItÕs three against three,Ó Inuyasha said, ÒWhoÕs gonna break the tie,ÓSesshomaru opened his mouth to say something but was interrupted by a knock at the door.ÒWhat the hell do you want,Ó Inuyahsa barked out.A pair of sapphire eyes peaked out from behind the door.ÒIt looks like youÕve scared her Inuyasha,Ó A man with short black hair pulled back in a dragons tail stated moving slowly towards the door.ÒShut the hell up you hentai, you just want to get on her good side so you can grab her ass,Ó Inuyasha stated. The man looked at him with a grin. ÒYour such a lecher Miroku,Ó Inuyasha told him rolling his golden eyes.Kagome took a hesitant step into the room and closed the door behind her. ÒIÕm Rin Tama, This is Sango Hirokotsu, Shippo Fox, Inuyahsa Takahashi and his older brother Sesshomaru,Ó Rin told her pointing to the other dark haired female, The short red head guy, The grumpy guy in red and finally the tallest man in the room.Kagome politely bowed her head to each of them. When she looked up again her gaze was drawn to Sesshomaru like a magnet. ÔDamn,Õ Kagome thought looking over him. From the top of his silver head, over a face that looked as if angels had carved it, down that perfectly well toned body that his button up shirt did nothing to hide, to the soles of his polished loafers.Kagome could feel herself getting lightheaded just looking at him.Òall right then gang,Ó Rin said next to her startling her out of her daze, ÓNow that weÕve got that taken care of I think we sÒKagome,Ó Kagome said finishing her sentence for her.ÒYes, Kagome, we should break in Kagome,Ó Rin continued, Ò See how wide her vocal range is and how good she is on stage.ÓÒWell lets get started then,Ó Miroku said leading the way out of the audition room and into an elevator. They descended down to the basement garage and approached a gleaming black Escalade.Sesshomaru unlocked the drivers door and unlocked the rest from inside. The group piled into the car and amazingly Kagome ended up in the passenger seat.She vaguely wondered why no one else had wanted to sit up here until she heard the lyrics of one of her favorite songs being sung softly next to her.ÔSummer has come and passed, The innocent can never last, Wake meKagome turned to look next to her. It was Sesshomaru singing, and he had a good voice from what she could hear. ÔHere comes the rain again, Falling from the stars, drenched in my pain again, Becoming who we are.ÕShe turned to look at the other passengers who were all unfazed by his singing and were chatting with each other. Kagome shrugged and decided to join him.ÔAs my memory rests, But never forgets what i lost, wake me up when September ends, Summer has come and passed, The innocent can never last, Wake me up when September ends,ÕSesshomaru looked at the girl next to him as if he had just noticed she was sitting next to him. He continued singing with her, their voices harmonizing perfectly with each other.ÔRing out the bells again, like we did The car had just become silent every person listening to the two voices in awe. ÔIt took me and Sess almost a year and a half to get our voices to harmonize perfectly,Õ Miroku thought to himself ÔAnd in less than an hour of meeting these two had achieved what took us months.
