Chapter Two:
Death

Kagome couldn't believe her eyes.Sesshomaru,just saved her human life."Can you put me down now Sesshomaru?" Kagome asked since at the time she really didn't care if had died.
Sesshomaru just stared at her and dropped her."Owww...." She moaned."I didn't say drop me!" she yelled after him quite angrily.'Man!Is he ever going to get it!' Kagome thought as she marched over to him and put a hand on his shoulder.He continued to ignore her.
She had planned to smack him if she wouldn't have heard Naraku laughing at her."Naraku!" Kagome shouted in surprise.
"Who else?Sesshomaru,you haven't said a word yet.Are you terrified?" Naraku answered."This Sesshomaru is not terrified of a lowly hanyou like yourself!" Even though it angered him somewhat it didn't show one bit.
Their little conversation ended when a large boomerang came in.

Kirara,Shippo,Sango,and Miroku were now less than 100 ft. away.Of course her Hiraikotsu had been repelled.They were coming closer when thousands of demons blocked their path.Miroku immediatly started using his wind tunnel.
But as soon as he finished off one section of demons more came and in greater numbers.This was going to be a long battle.

'Where's Inuyasha?' she thought.Though things were different now she didn't think Inuyasha wouldn't protect her.'I mean thats what Tetsusaiga was for was it not?' She thought silently.So lost she didn't even notice that she was suppose to be in a battle.

Inuyasha was walking along side Kikyo.It was horrible telling the one person he truly loved that he couldn't stay with her because he promised to go to hell with Kikyo.Inuyasha had once dreamt about starting a family with Kagome.But when Kikyo came back the dream went upside down.
And to make matters worse just knowing he was going to hell soon - and with Naraku didn't help.'She'll have a better life without me' He thought.But in the back of his mind he didn't want to think that.She looked so torn when he told her.
A scream was head.Inuyasha's heart stopped for a minute.'KAGOME!' He thought.And dashed off after her.
'Good Naraku,keep our plan going.' Kikyo thought.Absent mindly she was rubbing the mating mark on her neck.'Won't Inuyasha be shocked when he finds out he's going to hell alone' And with that she was off,part two of the plan had to be in action and with her thinking about it wasn't getting her anywhere of course.

Kagome Screamed.one of Narakus tentacles got her while she was thinking."Stupid Girl!" She heard Sesshomaru say,she had obviously hurt his hearing."Naraku,let me go!" She screamed.The tentacle inside her body had started oozing out poison.Kagome screamed again in pain.
"Wind Scar!" Inuaysha yelled slicing off half of Naraku's tentacles and quickly grabbed Kagome."Are you alright,Kagome?" Inuyasha questioned her.'Of course I'm not alright!' she screamed in her mind.'My heart was broken to pieces,I was just stabbed through my stomach,and now had strong poison coursing through her veins!How could she possibly be alright?' She though angrily.
But her mouth betrayed her mind."Of course im fine." She gave him a weak smile.He obviously was to deep in thought to smell the blood coming out of her wound.So He jumped up and sped off to battle.
Kagome got up,feeling very fuzzy in her mind.Over the Year she had been with Inuyasha she learned to ignore her pain or hear about how weak she was later.And She was NOT weak.Kagome began looking for a bow.With it being her only weapon and defense she had to find one.'Ah-Ha' kagome ealked slowly over to the bow.'No arrows,damn!'
Of course being a miko she could create arrows and a bow but it took alot of energy so she preferred that they were there.But in this case she only had an bow so she began pulling arrows from mid air.
She aimed for Naraku,calling forth her powers into an arrow and released it.It went about 10ft. when another arrow intercepted it.The arrow was a very dark purple,threatening to turn a malicious black.
"Kikyo!" Kagome spat her name out with something close to hatred in her voice.'Why did Kikyo stop me?' "Hey what----" another arrow zooming towards her stopped her from completing her question.She dodged it bearly,it cut a few locks of her hair off and manage to cut her cheek.but she did notice the arrow had turned black just before it hit her,no doubt that Kikyo had put all of her hatred into it.
When the black arrow hit the poison intensified greatly knocking her to her feet.She half-opened one eye and noticed parts of her arms were turning purple.If she was going to die she was at least going to purify Kikyo,and Kikyo needed to be purified badly.She slowly got to her knees.Thinking of Kikyo's downfall got her to her knees quickly.'She will pay for taking part of my soul!'
She locked an arrow at Kikyo.She suddenly put all her feelings into the arrow and it began to glow a heavanly white.Kikyo stared at her in shock.'Weren't Kagome's arrows pink?' Kikyo tried to move out of the way when suddenly a faint white light surronded her and held her place.'No,not again!This was suppose to be my revenge!' her mind screamed.
The arrow was released and pretty soon it was less than 10 ft. from her.She closed her eyes,she had been expecting pain but nothing like this.The arrow pierced her heart making old memories flash through her,she screamed in pain.Her clay body started dissapearing and the souls were released into the air dissapearing as well.

Everyone had stopped battling when they heard Kikyo's scream.Naraku narrowed his eyes at the sight.'Kuso!The weak woman wasn't suppose to die before the plan worked.Things weren't working out,as he planned.As much as he hated to he had to retreat he couldn't risk dying without completing his true form and he was almost there.'
"KIKYO!" Inuyasha hollered.Sure,he didn't want to go to hell with her but he didn't want her to die either.He ran to her side and when he reached for her,her body dissapeared into the cool evening's breeze.Inuyasha dropped to his knees.'No!She couldn't be gone.Especially since Kagome was the one who had caused it.' He pondered this for about a few seconds when he heard something drop behind him.
Naraku slipped away from them unnoticed by even Sesshomaru,which was oddly surprising.'Hopfully the poison killed the little Bitch for ruining my plans.' Naraku thought.'Even if she dosen't I'll make her death ten times worse for it.'
Inuyasha turned around to see Kagome on the ground,her breathing was slowing down and then it stopped completely."Kagome....KAGOME!" Inuyasha ran to her side and cradled her in his arms.He looked at her.Her arms were pretty much purple along with her lips.He was surprised she had lasted so long with the huge gash in her side and the strong poison going throiugh her.
'Dammit!Why didn't he notice it before?Was he to busy thinking about his choice he made?' He hung his head.not wanting to show the tears flooding out of his eyes.'This isn't true just one of those stupid nightmares trying to scare him.He'd wake up and see Kagome cooking ramen.She'd always have that huge smile on her face and shout to him "Good Morning!"' But as he felt her getting colder no matter how much it hurt he knew she was dead.
He screamed out in fustration.There was no possible way he could lose the most important person to him and another person whom he had loved,when she was actually alive.

The gang knew they had to finish off the demons when they heard a girl scream.They all thought of Kagome.Miroku noticed that the Sanyosho(sp?) were gone so he decided to use his wind tunnel."Take cover!" he yelled to his friends behind him,and unwrapped his hand.
He had just finished sucking up the the last few demons when he heard Inuyasha scream.If it was Inuyasha screaming he knew it was bad.The gang got on Kirara and she flew as fast as she possibly could to get there.They saw Sesshomaru leaving and then spotted Inuyasha...and Kagome.When Sango saw Kagome she fell to her knees and cried.yet another one of her loved ones were gone.All by Naraku.What had she ever done to deserve this?And who was next Miroku?
Shippo was bawling and huggin Kagome's neck.His 'mother' was dead.Which made yet another mother dead.And with this the young demon decided the gods decided that he shouldn't live happily with a family.He learned at a young age that the gods sucked!
Miroku went over to Sango,he was crying of course but not like Sango and really wanted to comfort her and to show her she wasn't the only one losing someone precious.And for that Sango was glad she had someone like miroku in serious times at least.
The group stood their not wanting to move but they knew that if she was indeed dead she deserved the best funeral one could possibly have.
'I swear Kagome when I get the jewel I'll wish you back.I promise' Inuyasha silently vowed.hugging her again and got up."Lets go" Inuyasha's voice was almost unable to be heard for human hears but they got the message.They got on Kirara and slowly flew away towards the God Tree,where Kagome loved to sit the most.

Well as you can probally see I'm not a huge action writer so I know it was lame.Maybe if I can think of something better I'll redo it but for now it stays.
