Chapter Seventeen
Revenge is a Dish best served Cold
Rin took another look at herself in the mirror. She frowned.
"Hey now, the future Mrs. Sesshomaru can't frown on her wedding day!"Sango chirped hanging over Rins shoulder.
"But I'm huge,"Rin stated pointing at her stomach.
"Actually you're pretty small for someone pregnant. And don't worry this bouquet will hide it,"Kagome handed Rin a bouquet of baby blue and white flowers.
Rin looked lovely with her long black hair up in a perfect bun where her veil tucked away. She wore a spaghetti strap white wedding dress that blossomed into chiffon layers and a long train.
Kagome and Sango both wore light blue silk dresses, both sleeveless and both with their hair up in neat buns.
"Are you sure I look okay?"asked Rin nervously.
"Stop worrying, you look perfect,"Kagome smiled. Rin nodded and Sango placed the veil over her head. "Lets go."

Sesshomaru nervously fidgeted with his fingers. The entire church was full. The Inu Gang and their allies were all over the place and Renegade Agents were on the brides side nervously glancing at the demons not two feet away from them.
"Whassamatter?"Inuyasha elbowed Sesshomaru. "Not getting cold feet are ya?"
"Never,"Sesshomaru spoke. Just the opposite. He was so excited and he couldn't wait to see his beautiful Rin. Together they would join lives and be together forever. It was the happiest day of his life, if not for the damn waiting.
Suddenly the music started. The flower girl skipped down the isle tossing light blue petals aside. Inuyasha straightened up as did Miroku. The first to walk down the isle was Sango and she kept her gaze, or at least tried to, at the back of the church. However the admiring glances from Miroku sent her into a shy smile.
Next was Kagome whom kept her glance deep into Inuyashas. Sesshomaru smirked at his younger brothers nervous gulping and his fidgeting.
Next came Aiji and Nina, who to the guys suprise actually wore the dresses that they rebelled against. A few of the girls' close Inu pals wolf-whistled and all earned secret fingers from the tomboyish girls.
Then Sesshomaru tensed up as the music changed and there walked in Rin. B walked her down the isle and himself had tears in his eyes. He had always been a father figure to Rin.
Sesshomaru himself felt like crying. She was so beautiful and her overjoyed smile almost caused him to sob out.
She made her way up the isle and Sesshomaru eagerly grasped her hands. They looked deeply into eachothers eyes.

After the race almost eight months ago, he's been dreaming of this moment. His gang had scattered, his power gone, and his heart broken. Well he took care of the last one.
Lets just say breaking into Renegades Cells was easier than expected for him and Kikyous fate had been sealed by the end of his knife. And with quite a satisfaction he's been missing for a while.
Ever since that race, Renegade Agents have been working together with Demons, especially the Inu Gang which sickened Naraku the most, to track him and the rest of his tretcherous gang down. Apparently, the Spiders were highly wanted. According to Kikyou, before she died, she had been undercover to give Renegade, him. She just didn't like him in the end and attempted to kill him, herself. She had agreed to the race and was going to call Renegade upon the Spiders victory.
She made his blood boil in anger. Now Naraku sat unnoticed amongst the Agents of Renegade at the wedding of Sesshomaru. He had cut his hair, and masked his scent with a special perfume he stole from Kikyou. So he smelled like a normal human.
His eyes were shadowed by the hat he wore and his hand itched to grab his gun and take down the multiple gun and weapon clad Agents and Inus. He especially had an eye to take out five people. The girl who looks like Kikyou. The girl who beat Kikyou, Rin, and claimed Inu Victory. Inuyasha, the damned hanyou who had always brought his anger to rise. Kagura, the betraying wench who left his orders and the Spiders behind to join the Inu's. And Sesshomaru, his nemesis. His rival. His utmost enemy whom most hatred consumed too.
"I do,"Sesshomaru said.
Not long after, Rin said, "I do."
They exchanged rings and looked tearfully into eachothers eyes.
"You may now kiss the bride,"the priest said. Naraku took that as his cue.
Gunshots fired from the machiene gun he held. All around him were destroyed, and most of the living people ducked for cover waiting for him to run out of ammo or to just stop for even a mere second.
"YOU TOOK MY POWER! NOW I'LL TAKE YOUR LIVES!"he cried out in a crazed anger.
Many screams were heard, Kagome ducked down with Sango, and Inuyasha and Miroku protected them as well.
When the gunfire ended, the Inus growled fiercely.
"Now you DIE!"shouted out Kagura who whipped out her fan and sent sharp blades chopping him unexpectedly, in half. Kagura, he thought, had definately gotten stronger with the Inus. He fell to the ground in a lump. Kagome looked up to see Kagura attack, and she was impressed. Kagura had always carried that fan with her but she never used it. Sango screamed.
"NO RIN!"cried out Kagome jumping next to Rin who layed on the ground atop of the priest, shaking wildly as bullets had punctured her lower torso, her upper shoulders, her neck and her legs and arms. Naraku was aiming for Rin.
"Oh GOD RIN!"Sesshomaru frantically shouted.
"GET SOME HELP NOW!"Inuyasha barked. Nina and Aiji nodded and followed a group of Agents who would accompiany them to a hospital.
"Se-sesshoma-ma-ru-u,"Rin said. He wiped back her forehead to notice that a bullet had grazed her skin deeply and blood poured down. "Ki-kiss me so we'll be marri-ie-ed,"she r requested.
Sesshomaru eagerly complied capturing her lips with his own.
She had a smile on her face when he came back up. He starred into her eyes, crying.
"I love y-you,"she said touching his face. "I'm just sorry I could'nt-be -be,"Rin was fading.
"NO RIN!"Sesshomaru shook her to keep her awake.
"Hold on Rin,"whispered Inuyasha who placed his blazer over her.
"She's in shock,"stated Kagura. "If she doesn't get into an ER soon, she'll die." Sesshomaru felt himself being torn in half.
Inuyasha left Rin with Sesshomaru and the girls to see the bleeding lump that was Naraku on the floor. He obviously wasn't dead. Kagura was strong but never strong enough to destroy Naraku, or she would've done it long ago.
"Naraku,"spat Inuyasha. Naraku grinned as he suffered on the ground. His wounds were already starting to heal.
"Inuyasha, how nice to see you,"Naraku said.
"Why Naraku?"asked Inuyasha with a dark glare and an even darker tone. His answer in reply was a sharp laugh. Inuyasha felt his claws flex.
"Are you going to finish me off Inuyasha?"asked Naraku. A crowd of Inus and Renegade Agents were circling around a healing Naraku. "Can you? Or are you weak?"
Without authorization, Inuyasha dove his claws down and pierced through Naraku's throat. Naraku looked very suprised at this action. The Inu's gasped and the Agents turned their hands from the image before them. Inuyasha twisted his wrist and pulled his claws out.
"As Kagura said, And now you die,"Inuyasha was about to strike when suddenly Sesshomaru jumped atop of Naraku and pierced through his skull. A green vapor emitted from his claws and with a single fierce growl, Naraku's skin turned green and he finally...died.
"SHE'S FADING FAST!"cried Kagura as she held a pregnant Rin in her arms. "I don't think she'll make it if we half to wait for an ambulance."
A loud screeching was heard outside. They rushed out to see that Aiji and Nina had rushed back to the garage and gotten their cars. Apparently they were ten steps ahead of them.
"GET IN!"Aiji cried out. Sesshomaru grabbed Rin from Kagura and the three went with Aiji. Sango, Miroku, Kagome and Inuyasha followed in Ninas car.
They only hoped that they would get there in time.

They waited in a large white room. The sounds of the Nurse clicking away on her computer was the only sound in the room. Sango and Kagome leaned their heads together, Aiji and Nina starred in opposite directions of eachother, Inuyasha focused his attention on the clock, Miroku comforted a worried Sesshomaru and Kagura joined her collegues in surgery.
It was another painfully long hour before Kagura exited, dressed in hospital scrubs. Her front was covered in blood. Sesshomaru jumped up upon the scent of Rins blood.
"ISSHEOKAYISSHEGOINGTOBEALRIGHTWHYISTHERESOMUCHBLOODISTHEBABYO KAYWHAT'SGOINGON?!!?!?!?!?!"
"Whoa!"Kagura paced. "One at a time. Rin had lost a lot of blood. It'll take a long recovery. But she'll be okay."
Sesshomaru practically choked Kagura as he squeezed her in the most painful hug of her life.
"Uh, Sesshomaru, she's going to die if you don't let go,"Inuyasha stated.
"Can we see her?"Kagome jumped up.
"Yes,"Kagura smiled.

Sesshomaru was granted to see her first, and alone. He squeezed her hand and looked at her face. Kagura said that she would be out for a while from the drugs and the shock.
"Rin,"he breathed. "You're amazing. I just want to let you know, I love you forever."
Unknowing, a brown eye popped open and despite the pain, Rin made a toothy grin.
"I love you too,"she said weakly.
"RIN!"Sesshomaru jumped in in suprise and shock. "You're awake! Kagura said that you'd be out of it for a while!"
"Eh, what can I say?"Rin smiled. Sesshomaru kissed her hand before the entire group burst in, despite Kagura shouting in the backround, "YOU'LL GIVE HER A HEART ATTACK!!!"
"RIN!"they all shouted in unison.
"Is the baby okay?"Aiji asked.
Rin nodded.
"Are you okay?!"Miroku asked.
Rin nodded and smiled.
The girls took her opposite side shortly before a knock came to the door. B stood there holding a bouquet, and his new assistant Kanna held a fruit basket.
"How you doin' kiddo?"asked B.
"Fine,"she smiled. "Are those for me? How sweet." B had a light blush as he mumbled a you're welcome and handed her the roses.
"Just wanted to let you know, most of the Spider Gang has been caught. They seemed to exit from their hiding places upon hearing Naraku's death. Seemed they feared him more than us,"B spoke.
"Are they giving up the rest?"Kagome asked.
"You bet,"B said.
"That's great news,"Sango smiled.
"However, it was shortly discovered that Kikyou is now dead as well,"B said.
Despite their anger towards Kikyou, they still managed a gasp. "How?"Rin asked.
"Naraku. Kikyou had given out and taken in a lot of information on everything. Naraku knew of Renegade HQ,"B said.
"It's not pretty,"Kanna said in her monotone voice.
"Listen uh, I just wanted to let you girls know, I'm very proud of you,"B said.
"Thank you,"all of them said in unison.
"And if you ever need help from anyone, Renegade will always be there,"B stated. "Come on Kanna. We have paperwork to do."
"Yippee,"she said in a lower than emotionless voice.
"See ya around B,"Rin waved goodbye. She held Sesshomarus hand again when suddenly he gasped. Her face was wrenched in pain.
"What's happening?!"asked Sesshomaru once more worried.
"Oh lord,"Kagura whispered.
"What's going on?"
"It's coming!"Rin answered.
"She's going into labor,"Kagura stated. "Shit, with the bedpan hookup she probably didn't notice her water breaking!"

(A/N: Yeah I know it's sudden but it's MY story so dammit, if she didn't notice her water breaking, then god dammit, she didn't notice! Um...yeah...^_^ back to the story!!!)

Everyone except for Kagura and Sesshomaru was back in the waiting room. This time, they were excitedly anticipating Rins baby.
However the hospital visiting hours were soon to be over, and the group had to retreat to their homes. Too excited about the baby they all gathered at Inuyasha's house awaiting the call from Sesshomaru announcing his new baby.
"Oh I wonder what it'll be,"Kagome smiled.
"Come to think of it Rin never told us if it would be a girl or boy,"Sango noted.
"I hope it's a girl,"Kagome exclaimed. Sango nodded.
"No way, it's gonna be a boy,"Inuyasha spoke confidently.
"Oh yeah?"Kagome asked with her hands on her hips.
"Yeah,"Inuyasha grinned snatching Kagome by the waist and pulling her on his lap.
"And if it isn't?"Sango asked.
"Then I'd be right. As always,"Kagome smiled. Inuyasha stuck his tounge out at Kagome when the phone suddenly rang.
Everyone jumped on it but Miroku got ahold of it.
"Uh huh,"he said.
"I see."
"What's he talking about?!"asked Aiji to Nina.
"Congratulations,"Miroku ended the call. "That was Kagura."
"AND?!"everyone asked.
"It's a girl,"Miroku smiled.
"YAY!"Kagome bounced.
"What's her name?"asked Sango.
"They decided to name her Kaiho,"Miroku said.
"What a beautiful name,"Nina smiled.

Sesshomaru laid in the hospital bed holding Rin, who in turn held their new daughter. Kaiho.
She was sleeping serenly within her mothers arms and Rin couldn't help but shed a tear.
"I'm so happy,"Rin smiled.
"Me too,"Sesshomaru replied.
Kaiho yawned a tiny yawn and her arms reached out. Sesshomaru smiled at his daughter with raven black hair. She looked like Rin so much. She was beautiful.
Then Sesshomaru felt a sharp tug at his hair.
"Ouchie!"
Rin laughed silently. "You know what?"
"What?"Sesshomaru asked.
"I love you,"Rin smiled.
"I love you too,"Sesshomaru answered.
"You know what else?"Rin began to smirk.
"What?"Sesshomaru asked.
"I can't wait to see Kagome and Sango pregnant."

"It's coming!"Rin answered.
"She's going into labor,"Kagura stated. "Shit, with the bedpan hookup she probably didn't notice her water breaking!"

(A/N: Yeah I know it's sudden but it's MY story so dammit, if she didn't notice her water breaking, then god dammit, she didn't notice! Um...yeah...^_^ back to the story!!!)

Everyone except for Kagura and Sesshomaru was back in the waiting room. This time, they were excitedly anticipating Rins baby.
However the hospital visiting hours were soon to be over, and the group had to retreat to their homes. Too excited about the baby they all gathered at Inuyasha's house awaiting the call from Sesshomaru announcing his new baby.
"Oh I wonder what it'll be,"Kagome smiled.
"Come to think of it Rin never told us if it would be a girl or boy,"Sango noted.
"I hope it's a girl,"Kagome exclaimed. Sango nodded.
"No way, it's gonna be a boy,"Inuyasha spoke confidently.
"Oh yeah?"Kagome asked with her hands on her hips.
"Yeah,"Inuyasha grinned snatching Kagome by the waist and pulling her on his lap.
"And if it isn't?"Sango asked.
"Then I'd be right. As always,"Kagome smiled. Inuyasha stuck his tounge out at Kagome when the phone suddenly rang.
Everyone jumped on it but Miroku got ahold of it.
"Uh huh,"he said.
"I see."
"What's he talking about?!"asked Aiji to Nina.
"Congratulations,"Miroku ended the call. "That was Kagura."
"AND?!"everyone asked.
"It's a girl,"Miroku smiled.
"YAY!"Kagome bounced.
"What's her name?"asked Sango.
"They decided to name her Kaiho,"Miroku said.
"What a beautiful name,"Nina smiled.

Sesshomaru laid in the hospital bed holding Rin, who in turn held their new daughter. Kaiho.
She was sleeping serenly within her mothers arms and Rin couldn't help but shed a tear.
"I'm so happy,"Rin smiled.
"Me too,"Sesshomaru replied.
Kaiho yawned a tiny yawn and her arms reached out. Sesshomaru smiled at his daughter with raven black hair. She looked like Rin so much. She was beautiful.
Then Sesshomaru felt a sharp tug at his hair.
"Ouchie!"
Rin laughed silently. "You know what?"
"What?"Sesshomaru asked.
"I love you,"Rin smiled.
"I love you too,"Sesshomaru answered.
"You know what else?"Rin began to smirk.
"What?"Sesshomaru asked.
"I can't wait to see Kagome and Sango pregnant."
