Inuyasha was muttering to himself
“Who the hell does she think she is acting like that,” he kept on saying
After Kagomes encounter they went back to the hut to bandage Inuyasha’s wound
“Oh my god,” Sango said in disgust at where Kagome had punched him
“It seems something is troubling Kagome,” stated Miroku
“TROUBLING HER?!?!,” Inuyasha roared “SHE LEFT THREE YEARS AGO NOT A THING FROM HER UNTIL NOW, AND NOW LOOK AT HER! AND YOU SAY SOMETHING TROUBLES HER!!!,”
Sesshomaru had to step in and stop Inuyasha from lunging at Miroku
After he was sure Inuyasha would behave he went back to thinking
What happened to her? How did she become so powerful? Why did she leave? Why has she changed?
All these questions and many more swirled around his head as he thought
And why he asked himself Do I have this strange feeling about her??

Kagome sighed as she slipping next to Azumi in the hot spring
“Good thing about this place is they always seem to have hot springs around here,” she said
“Yeah beats and modern day hot pools asses,” Azumi stated sinking in the water
Kagome sank in to closing her eyes and remembering what had happened three years ago.
-Beginning of Kags story-
Kagome had come home after seeing Inuyasha and Kikyo tighter again. She went outside the well house to find that her family had been murdered. Upset Kagome went off the her best friend considered a sister Azumi.
Azumi had taken care of her and introduced her to Jin,Kin and Tashi. After selling the shrine and sealing the well house so now one could get in or out unless she wanted she began healing.
She learned self-defense along with other fighting techniques. She joined the gang Blood Hounds along with Kin,Jin,Tashi and Azumi. After the leader died he appointed Kagome succesor. She was ruthless and became cold hearted not letting her emotions show. Last month she had told them all about the feudal era, the jewel and of course Inuyasha. Azumi instantly began to resent Inuyasha and the guys promised they’d kick his ass if he ever hurt her again. They decided they would go back and collect the jewel shards if they had not done so already.
So there they were now on a new adventure

Azumi looked over to her friend concerned
She’s been through so much she thought sadly
After a long soak they went and joined the boys by the campfire
“Yo Kags,” Jin grunted
“What?,” she replied bored
“When we gona see some demons and shit you said that you can sense jewel shards so have ya?,” he asked impatiently
Kagome smiled coldly at him
“Soon enough, Soon enough. Really anxious to use that new gun you have eh?” she asked
“Yeah can’t wait this baby will kill em in one shot,” he said excitedly
Give it to Jin to get excited over a gun…she thought
“Get some sleep tomorrow we arent resting until we have atleast three shards you hear?” she warned
They groaned but did what they were told anyways. They were tired from walking so long and were glad to take rest.

*NEXT MORNING*
“Inuyasha!,” Sango and Mirkou called after him “Where do you think your going?!,”
“Going to get the wench she’s back now so we can get on with hunting more shards,” was his reply
Sighing they gathered their stuff and went after him, this included Sesshomaru and his entorage (sp?).
Sango,Miroku and Shippou on Kirara’s back, Rin and Jaken on Ah-Un’s and Sesshomaru and Inuyasha running they went to find Kagome.
After a while they picked up her scent and burst into a clearing where they found Kagome and her group back to back and hords of demons coming after them.
Inuyasha drew his swords and Sango readied her boomerang, Sesshomarus hand went to his sword but he stopped.
“Look,” was all he said
They watched as the demons came after the group.
To easy she thought smirking
“Jin ready to test out that new gun of yours?” she asked
“Oh yea!!,” replied a happy Jin
“Everyone else?”
They all nodded in agreement
As soon as the demons approached Kagome drew out her own gun and fired multiple times hitting each of the aimed demons square on the head killing them. Her group did the same.
“Well wasn’t that easy?,” Kagome asked them
They just grunted in response
Kagome went over the bodies od demons till she found the shards, content she picked them up purifying them.
“Were in luck one of these bastards had two and another had one,” she told them
“So three cool,” Tashi said
Azumi turned around to look at the bodys of demons before her eyes landed on Inuyasha and his group.
“Kags you bitch,” Azumi said
“What?,” she snapped
“Look,”.
Inuyasha heard one of the members in Kagomes group call her a bitch
“You fucking whore don’t call her that!,” he yelled claws extended to kill her
Azumi just smirked and Sesshomaru and the rest questioned
Kagome was in front on Azumi before anyone could blink. She caught his arm twisted it around behind his back and drew out one of the sharp daggers she had and pressed it against his throat.
Instantly everyone ran over yelling ‘STOP!’.
“KAGOME!,” yelled Sango at her friend “WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!,”
Sesshomaru was curious at her odd behaviour
“Inuyasha,” she said in a menacing tone filled with malice “What are you doing?”
Inuyasha gulped and eyed the dagger
“She called you a bitch I went after her you idiot,” he told her
“Kags relax don’t go on a freakin killing spree now,” Kin told her
“Fine….” she said releasing Inuyasha
“What do you want Inuyasha?,” she asked
“We’ve come to get you we have to go collect the shards now that your back so lets go,” he commanded
Her eyes narrowed and she set her jaw.
A fist collided with Inuyashas jaw and it was none other then Jin’s
“What the hell you bastard!,” he yelled “It’s been three fucking years and that’s ally ou can say?!,”
“God.,” Azumi said “Good thing she came back when she did three years ago,”
“Yeah apparently she’s just considered a tool to them,” added Tashi anger seeping out of him
“I don’t care im going to kill this bastard,” Kin said readying his gun
“Kin you move another step and your brains are going to be blown out,” Kagome told him icily
“But Kago-,” he protested but was cutoff
“No I’ll handle it,” she told him
She went over to Inuyasha and placed to gun point right on his forehead
“Inuyasha……..” she said “You saw what this thing can do right?”
He just nodded
“Good now listen you selfish bastard.” she told him “ I am not your freaking possesion okay? I gave up most of my life for you and for nothing, my family was murdered and I have nothing to live for I am not a tool and will not be used you understand that?” she hissed
“Now don’t get in my way or next time I won’t stop Kin but help him finish the task,” she stated
“Kagome…….” Sango said tears starting to form “What happened to you?”
“Yeah Kagome wheres the lively girl we all used to love?,” asked Miroku
“Where’s my mama?,” asked Shippou crying
She turned her cold stare to all of them. It was filled with anger,hate,vengenace and pain
“She’s dead and never coming back,”she told them
Rin spoke up
“Why is Kagome-sama acting like lord Sesshomaru?,” she asked
Now that I think about it she is acting like the old me……the hateful me he thought
Kagome turned around until she faced Rin.
The little girl got scared but stayed still
Kagome went over and placed two fingers under her chin turning her head from side to side.
“Rin let me tell yout his much,” she told the wide eyed little girl “I am now far worse then Sesshomaru ever will be or was, and I won’t hesitate to kill humans like he does now,”
Jaken gawked at the female human who dared say that about his lord
Smiling coldly she turned around grabbing a black satchel and heading towards the east
Why is it I feel my pride and ego have been bruised? he asked himself
“Miko,” he called out
Kagome turned around and stared at him
“What?” she asked impatient
“What has happened to you?,” he asked keeping the curiosity out of his tone
“Life,” was all she said before heading away
