Realizations of love? Or is it just lust? Can these two admit there feeling or are they doomed to live a lonely lives without eachtohers comfort?

Kagome closed her eyes and began to think. This park was one of her favourite places to be. She came here when she needed to think, to cry and to release any emotion pent up inside her. Today she came to realize herself.
Why is it that Sesshomaru is able to make me feel like I once did when I loved Inuyasha? Why is it that I feel so safe when I’m with him but so venerable to. Damn! Why?why?why? I can’t fall in love with him! I won’t! I promised myself that I’d never love again! She mentally screamed at herself But no matter how much I deny it this youkai is breaking the barriers surrounding my heart. He’s coming in and I can’t fight back. I want to fight back I have to because if I let myself get hurt again……then…..I’ll die. I’ll die! I’ve fallen for him and there’s nothing I can do but to avoid him!
A lone tear slid down her cheek as she thought about this. But back at the car she wasn’t the only one in deep thought.
Why is this miko so interesting to me? Why do I care? What is this feeling? Why is it I feel secure with her? Why? Why? Why? I the Great Demon Lord of the West cannot fall for this miko! Sesshomaru chastised himself A human at that. I won’t let this human take over my heart I forbid it. But I’m lying to myself. I’ve fallen for this miko. Her fiery attidue amuses me. She is caring and loves children. She is strong and beautiful. But I can’t love her because she doesn’t love me. I won’t become weak like Inuyasha had become I must stay away from this miko as much as I can.
After another ten minutes Kagome came back. They drove in silence but Kaine desperately had a question he needed to answer.
“Miko,” he started
“Call me Kagome please,” she said
“Alright Kagome,” he began “Why is it that small weapon of yours was able to kill my brother just by tearing a little hole through him, when I have seen Inuyasha walk around with very considerable amounts of damage in battle.”
“Because the place I aimed at was precise,” she said then she pointed at her eye “See the reason my eyes are red? I have something called KenCams on them, Ken the one we meet earlier is a pure genious he designed this for me so whenever I take aim at an enemery I find the one valve in the heart that as soon as it’s hit that peron or in our case demon is dead.”
Great now I get to add being smart along with my list he thought
Kagome sped up and found the alley with that one wall in it. She slammed the gas and zoomed forward. Like the last time they went down a dark tunnel filled with lights.
Kagome got out and pulled out the button once more activating the door. When they got in they saw Kira,Ken and Joey gone.
“Probably went home,” Kagome said with a tired yawn
“Follow me,” she commanded
‘Kaine’ followed her down a hallway with many door. She stopped at one and opened it. He looked inside to a black room with silver linings at the ceiling. In the middle was a huge king sized bed. He had some chairs and a table along with a fireplace and a book shelf.
“Try and get some sleep we leave in the morning,” she told him before heading out.
Kagome walked out of the room and went into hers. After changing into black boxers and a tank top she went into the main room. Sighing she began to work on there newest job. A killing of Toshiba corps top members. She did this until around midngiht.

Kaine was deep in thought in his room. He just couldn’t sleep. He wasn’t used to all these new sounds and smells and of course all the technology. Frustrated he through off the covers and decided to explore around. He changed his kimono back to the black pants and muscle tee.
He walked out of the room and statred down the hallway to where the main room was. Upon arriving he found a very tired looking Kagome working at one of those strange devices he saw earlier.
“Kagome,” he asked “Why are you still awake?”
Kagomes head whipped up when she heard her name. Her eyes locked with Kaines aquamarine ones.
“I’m just working,” she told him “But if I may ask why are you not sleeping?”
He was silent for a minute before responding “I can’t sleep everythings so new to me…”
Kagome nodded with understanding
“Then maybe you can sleep with me…”she told him
Instantly his eyes widened.
“NOT LIKE THAT!,” she told him “As in sleep in the same bed and fully clothed no intimate contact whatsoever.”
“Oh,” was all he said
He thought awhile about what to do.
What could it hurt? he asked himself
OH MY FREAKING GOD WHAT IN ALL HELL AM I DOING?!?!?! she asked herself IM SUPPOSED TO BE STAYING AWAY FROM HIM NOT SLEEPING WITH HIM!!!!!
He nodded yes and Kagome got up. She lead him back down the hall to a room with a big red door. She opened it and it looked a lot like his room just bigger. And more furnishings in it. She stepping in him following. Instantly the smells of Sakura Blossoms, Fresh Rain and Jasmine attacked his nose.
Kagome went over to the bed and crawled under. He foolowed her soon after cuddling into her.
Oh god …she thought before sleep came crashing over her. Kaine to fell asleep not long after.
