Personalities Clash

Rina beamed up at the youkai in front of her but he remained silent with a mask of death. She backed away slowly and felt Sessho take hold of her.
“So I take it you're Sesshoumaru. I always knew I was tall but man!”
“Who are you?” Sesshoumaru's icy voice almost boomed
“I'm Sessho Wakamoto, and this is my girlfriend Rina Sakata.”

Sesshoumaru's eyes narrowed as he looked them over. Behind him Rin poked her head out looking at the couple then back to her master.

“Aw now aren't you the cutest little thing.” Rina smiled and knelt down looking at Rin
Rin scanned the woman over quickly, “Konnichi wa.”
“Hey Sessho, she looks just like me when I was little.”
“I don't think this is the time for it love.”
Yasha walked out and was met with the same sight, “Holy shit!”
Sesshoumaru looked to him and sneered
“I don't think he likes profanity little bro.”
As if a super hero, Inuyasha came out of the hut and stood directly in front of Sesshoumaru.
“You came early.”
“What is this little brother?”
“Some strays that followed Kagome.”
“I think they're reincarnations.” Kagome explained coming to stand beside Yasha

With all the talking going on Rina had coaxed Rin to come to her with a chocolate bar. The little girl licked the bar and then stuck a good portion in her mouth and began chewing.
“Aw, she's just the most adorable little thing in the world. Sessho can we take her back with us, we can adopt her and everything.”
Sessho looked up at Sesshoumaru who was eyeing Rina with daggers in his eyes, “I don't think her Daddy would like that.” He whispered into her ear
“Enough.” Sesshoumaru turned, “Rin it's time to go.”
The little girl nodded and happily followed her dog father.
“Wait.” Yasha called out, “Don't you want to talk to Sessho.”
Sesshoumaru turned looking annoyed, “Why would I?”
“He's your reincarnation, I'm sure you've got something in common.”
“Like you and Inuyasha.” Sessho laughed
Yasha hit his brother in shoulder. “Shut up.” With that Sessho reached over and knocked Yasha in the back of his head.
Sesshoumaru's interested was piqued then, “I believe I can spare a few moments.”
“Damn that hurts.” Yasha rubbed his head.

For the next hour Sesshoumaru and Sessho conversed on their family.
“That's weird, when Dad said we came from royal blood he wasn't kidding.” Yasha laughed
Sessho shook his head, “Is your brother just as intellectually challenged.”
Sesshoumaru smirked, “I believe so.”
“And here I was thinking Sessho was a nice guy.” Kagome scoffed
“He is…sometimes.” Rina sighed
“Most of the time he's a real asshole.” Yasha looked to Inuyasha, “You know, if we team up, you take your brother and I take mine, we can kill em'.”
Inuyasha laughed and looked Yasha straight in the eye, “I've already tried.”
“You too?” Yasha laughed and Inuyasha joined him
“This is too freaky.” Shippo quivered
“I know what you mean.” Miroku patted the youngster's head

Sesshoumaru stood and looked at Sessho, “This has been quite the strange meeting, but I'm content knowing our family won't lye in ruins because of Inuyasha.”
“Hey!” Inuyasha stood up
“I certainly hope I can say the same.” Sessho looked to his brother, “I hope you don't mind if we come back again.”
Sesshoumaru turned, “I'll be looking forward to your visits. Rin come.”
Rin had been playing with Rina, who sung songs to her and tickled her.
“We'll definitely have to come back; she is just the bee's knees.”
“What?” Inuyasha frowned
“Awesome.” Rina nodded, “Bee's knees is just an American expression.”
“I would like to see this America you speak of. It seems like an interesting place, especially your Los Angeles.” Sesshoumaru said nonchalantly
“Yeah if you think getting robbed, shot, and stabbed all in one night interesting.” Yasha chuckled
No one saw it but Sesshoumaru smiled.
“It would be great to take him.” Sessho smiled
Rina giggled, “We could dress him up and make him gangsta' then teach him to say `West side!'”
Sessho and Yasha began to crack up laughing while the other looked at them in confusion.
“It's a L.A. thing.” Rina shook her head
“He'd look better as a Goth or Punk anyway.” Sessho smiled
Sesshoumaru turned to him and cocked his head
“It's like a style of dressing.” He turn around, “We're punks.”
“Posers.” Yasha coughed
“Oh shut up Yasha.” Sessho scolded
“I started all of you on the punk thing. You're just posers wanting to be like me.”
Sessho turned to Sesshoumaru, “Their both big headed too.”
Sesshoumaru nodded, “I will take my leave now.” He turned with the girl in his foot steps and they began their journey home.

Rina sat back next to Sessho and smiled, “Hey Inuyasha?”
“Yeah?”
“Do demons age like humans.”
“No, why?”
“I think they're going to fall in love. Like me and Sessho.”
Yasha looked at her, “That's sick you know.”
“I mean when she gets older duffus.” She let out a sigh, “I can tell he really cares for her, and she adores him. When she grows up, she'll fall in love and he'll realize what kind of woman is in front of him.”
Inuyasha sniffed, “Yeah right.”
Kagome yawned and took a look at the night sky, “I think we should be going to bed now. When we wake in the morning I'll take you back.”
“Oh no! We have school tomorrow Kagome.” Rina blurted out
“Yeah that's right.”
“Then you'll have to get up real early tomorrow.” Inuyasha sighed
“Can you take us back tonight?” Rina looked at him in worry
“It's too dangerous to be traveling at night.” Miroku said
“Yeah, let's just wait koibito.” Sessho kissed her hair.
“Fine.”

It wasn't too long till everyone found their places to sleep.
Kagome looked over to Rina, “You know you can't tell anyone about this right?”
“Of course not. Who would believe us anyway?”
“Thanks Rina.”
“No, thank you. We would have never got the chance to see all this had we not followed you. And thank goodness you didn't send us home immediately.”
Kagome laughed, then yawned, “Oyasumi nasai.”
“Oyasumi nasai Kagome-chan.”
