Dear Diary,

My name is Kagome Higurashi. I have been friends with Sango for all of my life, Miroku and Inuyasha too. Although me and Inuyasha or Yasha, as I like to call him. We haven't been friends for five years, we don't speak, call, nor do we see each other. And why? I'll tell you.

*******Flashback**********

At Daycare

My mom dropped me off at Tokyo Daycare center when I was 5. I was the quiet and shy one but Sango was my friend. It was my birthday and after daycare I was having a B-Day party at my house. Naraku picked on me and Koga and Bankotsu would tease me on how I looked. Then on that day we had 2 new kids that came. They were boys. A hanyou and a human. The hanyou was 7 and had silver hair with cute furry dog ears on top of his head and golden eyes. The other little boy was 8 he had jet black hair that was pulled into a small ponytail and dark violet eyes.

Later on it was snack time we all got cookies and I got my favorite kind chocolate chip chunk. And Naraku took it from me and ate it right in front of me. I started to cry and then Yasha came up to me and said "Here stop crying." He was giving me his cookie.

I took it and said "thank you."

He turned his head and said "Keh" I was going to give him a kiss on the cheek but he turned his head in my direction and we locked lips! We were like that for at least 2-3 minutes until Koga came by making kissy faces at us. Yasha was blushing a deep red. Then Sango bumped me and I fell on top of him. Thank god I was wearing shorts my fall broke the kiss for some weird reason I was angry at him.

"Hey what'cha do that for!?" he said angrily.

"Do what?" I said innocently.

"You know what! Kiss me!" he said angrily.

"I didn't mean to I was going to kiss you on the cheek but you turned your head it was an accident that's all." I said smiling.

"Fine" he said as if he wanted it to be true. He turned his face to the side.

"Want to be friends?" I asked sweetly with a smile on my face.

"Okay sure" he grunted his face still turned away

"Okay hey I'm having a birthday party this afternoon after day care want to come almost everybody here is going its only fair." I asked sweetly and he finally looked at me.

"Alright I'll go only because you asked me." He said.

"Alright." I said happily.

But that's not why, see it was five years ago.

It was July 3 weeks before school started. Inuyasha and I were cloud watching in the old God tree. It was Yasha's 13th birthday he was going to have a party at his house at 4:00 and right now it was 1:00 and we were going to have lunch at my house. I saw a beautiful cloud shaped like a birthday cake and showed Yasha. He laughed at me because I was wobbling so he pushed me against the trunk of the tree. I was standing in front of it. I gasped from the rough edges rubbing against my back.

"Hey what'cha do that for?" I asked angrily from the irritation of the tree bark.

"You were going to fall if you had lost your balance." He simply said.

"Oh." I whispered.

"And I don't want that to happen. So what did you get me for my birthday?" he asked, surprising me with the topic switch.

"I'm not telling." I said as soon as I recovered.

"Awww come on." He begged with his large golden eyes and ears, he wanted to use the eyes again.

"You're going to have to wait until the party!" I said unaffected by the face.

"Well I want it now so gimme!" he said as he reached out with his hand.

"NO!!" I shouted.

"Please?" He just had to give me those wide puppy dog eyes knowing that I can't resist the full blown puppy dog eyes. So I dug into my pocket and gave him his present. It was a rosary necklace.

"Oh WOW!! Can you put it on for me?" So I did and the unexpected happened. He kissed me on the cheek. "Thank you Kagome I really like my present."

"You're......" I was cut off by a kiss. Yasha was kissing me on the lips!! I was enjoying it so much that I put my arms around his neck. Then he picked me up by the waist. I was shocked because I had a skirt on. I gasped when I felt his warm hands gripping my thighs, automatically giving him entrance to my mouth. He dominated the kiss I was powerless. Then he moved to my neck. I was panting, almost fearful of never having this feeling before, and I wanted more, but right when things got steamy my 5 year old brother came for us. Sota yelled our names telling us it was time for lunch. Little did we know he came looking for us? He was at the bottom of the tree <0_0>. He caught us making out.

He went running to the house yelling "Momma, Momma Kagome and Inuyasha are kissing! Ewwwww! Oh you're in trouble now!"

"Sota what's all this racket?" Momma asked while I and Yasha descended the tree blushing a deep red. Momma looked at me "Kagome is this true?"

I didn't know what to say and I didn't want to lie so I was going to tell the truth but Yasha beat me to it. "Yes ma'am we were. I'm sorry."

“You're sorry? What do you mean Yash? Are you the one who made the first move?" He was blushing even deeper than before.

"You like Kagome! You like Kagome! You like Kagome!!" Sota piped and giggled.

"Sota go eat your lunch it's not the time to be teasing now." My mother ordered.

"Yes ma'am" He said sadly.

"Yasha after you eat your lunch you need to go home. You'll see Kagz at the party.

Okay? And I see you have your birthday present on I hope you like it. Kagome picked it out she thought you would like it." I was now blushing as red as Yasha.

"Thank you very much" Inuyasha said, as he fingered the beads.

"Your welcome" We sat in silence then when we finished momma spoke up "Kagome what's that on your neck?"

"What's what?" I asked as I felt my neck.

"Is that a hickey!?" my mom asked.

"Oh no!" I said as I turned beet red.
