Chapter One: memory loss

On a trip to the fudal era, Kagome was greatly injured in a battle with Naraku. After being carried home by Inuyasha, Kagome was in a coma for a week. Meanwhile after deciding the fudal era was to dangerous the well was sealed and Kagome's mother was ready to fight to keep Kagome from going back. As it turns out Kagome awoke with amnesia, not remembering anything. It's been a two months since then and Kagome has recovered most of her memories, but remembers nothing of her adventures with Inuyasha and co. It was almost the same as before kagome met Inuyasha, but Kagome herself had changed. It's summer vacation and Kagome has been having weird dreams.

She was walking down a hallway filled with doors on either side. Every now and then she'd stop and open a door. The rooms were filled with familiar people and memories. Then she came to the last door, there was no light shining on it like the others. Kagome flicked a light switch up and a weak light flickered on and off as if unsure of what to do. Kagome tried the door, it wouldn't open, she rattled the knob. 'why is this door locked' she thought. "kagome" called voices from inside "come back to us. Please" they yelled louder and louder untill Kagome was knelt on the floor covering her ears and suddenly the voices stopped. And one lone voice called out, "Kagome, come back to us, to me. We need you, I need you. Remember Me" Ghostly clawed hands came through the door reaching for her and she screamed. And awoke in her room drenched in sweat.

"Kagome are you alright?" asked her mother knocking on the door. "I heard screams."

"I'm fine mom, just a bad dream" said Kagome a little breathlessly.

"Ok. Well get dressed breakfast is ready" Obediantly Kagome Kagome got out of bed and went into her adjoing bathroom and took a nice hot shower. Then she dressed in tight red low-rider capris and a red tank top with straps. She carried a pair of heeled sandals down stair with her. "Isn't that a bit dressy for breakfast?" asked her mother.

"I'm going skating with Hojo in the park" said Kagome

"Oh. Don't forget your helmet, elbow pads, shin gards"

"I know, mom. It's all in my bag with my skates." she pointed to a pink bag by the table. "I'm already late so I gotta go" Kagome put on her shoes, grabbed her bag and snagged a piece of toast and left. "Hey Hojo!" shouted Kagome, she ran over and gave him a peck on the cheek.

"Hey Kagome, what's in the bag?"

"My skates some makeup and a water bottle." she said.

"No helmet?" he asked.

"Messes up my hair"

"Knee and elbow pads?"

"Like I need them. I know how to skate" she rolled her eyes. "Come on if we're gonna skate, lets skate" She put on her Skates and skated away. When Hojo caught up to her she said, "J'aime faire du roller."

"Moi aussi" replied Hojo. (for those of you how don't know french Kagome said I like to skate and hojo said me to) After eating lunch Hojo took Kagome home. Before she let him leave Kagome kissed Hojo full on the lips and swatted him on the butt as he walked away.

"Mom, I'm home" she called. "I'll be in my room listening to music." she went upstairs kicking her shoes off as she went.

A few dreamless days later Hojo saw Kagome standing on the corner with her arms around a new guy in the neighbor hood Soji. "Kagome, what are you doing I thought we were going out?" asked Hojo. Kaogme laughed.

"Silly Hojo, I never said you were my boyfriend. I'm not ready to be tied to one person yet." She said.

"You know Kagome you've really changed since you lost your memory and I'm not so sure I like you as much now. Your so brazen and cruel, you've turned into a real Ice queen." Said Hojo shaking his head.

"Whatever. I never knew you were such a cold fish Hojo. If you'll excuse us, me and Soji have stuff do do." she walked off leaving Hojo staring after her with eyes full of pain.

That s it for this chapter I know it's short but oh well. I know some of you might not like the change in Kagome, I'm not sure I like it myself but she'll be back to normal at some point in the fic. see ya
