InuYasha and Kagome approached the village. At first, nobody recognize the hanyou. As he got closer, they were shocked. How could InuYasha escape hell? Then, the villagers saw Kagome and nodded. They understood.

 

Miroku and Sango exited their hut to see what the commotion was. They beamed when they saw their InuYasha back along with Kagome. They ran towards the couple and hugged them. InuYasha blushed and brushed the two humans off of him. Then, he saw a small girl skipping towards them.

 

Nozomi looked at the hanyou. She knew who it was since her mom and dad told her so much about him.

 

“Hello InuYasha, my name is Nozomi. Sango and Miroku is my mommy and daddy and you are my god daddy. Isn't that right mom and dad?” Nozomi asked. All of the adults were shocked by Nozomi's outspokenness. Especially InuYasha.

 

“Why don't we all go into our hut and we'll talk about everything that happened while you were gone InuYasha,” said Sango.

 

`Didn't Sango and Miroku die?' InuYasha thought.

 

Kagome told InuYasha what had happened after Sango and Miroku died and he went to hell. InuYasha was fighting back tears. `Kagome went though so much,' he thought. Kaede came in and wasn't too surprised to see InuYasha.

 

Kagome let Kaede tell him about bringing back Shippo, Sango, and Miroku.

 

“Where's Shippo?” he asked.

 

“He's traveling the world,” Miroku replied. InuYasha was surprised that Kagome was strong enough to bring back their friends.

 

Kagome then told the hanyou about her new discovery of her powers and her trip to hell to bring him back. InuYasha laughed when she told her meeting up with his older brother.

 

“The great Sesshoumaru died of a surprise attack?” InuYasha laughed.

 

It was Miroku and Sango's turn to tell him their wedding and child, Nozomi.

 

“And I'm pregnant,” Sango announced. Kagome shrieked and ran towards her friend.

 

“I am going to be a godmother again!” she shrieked.

 

After that, Kagome asked, “How long have I been gone?”

 

Kaede replied, “Oh, for about a month or so.”

 

`I've been gone that long? It felt like an eternity in hell.' She turned to InuYasha, and asked, “InuYasha, if you can remember, how long did it feel like you were in hell?”

 

He replied, “It felt like three hundred years.”

 

InuYasha turned to the little girl that was sitting between Sango and Miroku. “Hello Nozomi, how old are you?” he asked.

 

Nozomi smiled and replied, “I'm two years old.”

 

`Nozomi looks like Miroku. Damn, what if she's doing his lecherous ways?' he thought. He asked Sango, “Is she doing what Miroku did a few years ago?” Sango replied with a nod. He started to laugh.

 

Kagome told her three friends that she was no longer human. She was now an Angel demon with an Angel form. Sango asked if they could see her Angel form. Kagome didn't mind and let them see her.

 

Miroku, Sango, Kaede, and Nozomi gasped when they saw her demon form. Sango nearly fainted because Kagome looked so beautiful, pure, and powerful all in one. They all could feel so much integrity washing over them that they could feel like they were floating on clouds.

 

“Kami child, you look so beautiful,” Kaede said under her breath. Kagome smiled in reply. She turned back into her human form.

 

It was getting late and the hanyou and Angel demon decided to leave and confront her mother about what happened the past year.

 

Kagome and InuYasha arrived at Kagome's home. Kagome went into her house and saw her mom lying in her bed with Souta sitting next to her. Kagome's heart started to beat faster and faster. She knew something was wrong.

 

“Mom, Souta, what's going on?”

 

Ms. Higurashi looked at her daughter and replied, “I'm dying honey, and I'm dying from cancer.” Kagome fainted and InuYasha caught her before she hit the floor.
