[ X - Adult: No readers under 18. Contains Graphic Adult Themes/Extreme violence. ]

I can't even begin to tell you all how much I've missed writing, but due to all the thing that's been going on in the past few months it's been almost impossible for me to write a thing well that excludes homework.

Okay here a story that been in my noggin for a while. I'm a big fan of Sess/Rin pairings so don't hate me. I don't own any of the Inuyasha characters.

Sesshomaru was on pins and needles when it came to raising 3 year-old Inuyasha and being the founder of one the world's largest and most profitable companies.

"Dad it itches." The small child groaned.

"Damnit I told you to stop scratching at them they'll only get worse!"

Inuyasha pouted. "Have you ever had the chicken dot's?"

Sesshomaru frowned down at his son. "Pox." He corrected gently as he lifted Inuyasha into his arms. "And no I haven't."

"Then how would you know if they'll get worser?" He asked childishly as he continued to scratch.

"Kid, worser isn't a word, and I just know."

Suddenly the doorbell rang at once Sesshomaru placed Inuyasha down on the couch. "Good, hopefully that's Rin."

Inuyasha huffed. "Hopefully, because I like Rin better anyway."

Sesshomaru rushed to the door sighing in relief when he saw Rin standing there with her duffle bag in hand, and looking very out of breath if not a little miffed.

Pushing her way in she threw her bag down by the front door and frowned at her long time friend. "I just went through hell and back trying to get here." She paused before rounding on Sesshomaru.

"This kid better be sick Sesshomaru, because if he's not I'm gonna skin you alive." She said as she walked into the living room of his apartment.

Sesshomaru grimaced. "Wow, who pissed in your coffee?" He asked as he followed her into the living room where Inuyasha sat itching at his sores.

Rin stopped when she reached the couch frowning as she scrutinized the dot's adorning the three-year olds body. "Oh man chief," She murmured soothingly. "It seems you've got the chicken pox." Inuyasha gravitated toward her soothing touch sighing as she ran a pale hand through his untamed mane of raven locks.

Rin turned to Sesshomaru and started poking him in the chest. "Why didn't you tell me it was this serious?"

Placing his hands in the air. "It's not my damn fault that you jumped off the phone so quick!"

Inuyasha's watched as the two argued back and forth before standing with his X-Men blanket wrapped around his body. "You guys I gots the chicken dots, I'm not dying." He paused before stomping his foot. "And besides I'm the one whose sick why is Dad gettin' all d'attention?"

Rin smiled. "You are totally right baby you are sick." She cooed.

Walking over to Inuyasha, Rin swept him in her arms. "Come on sweetie-pie I have the perfect thing for you it'll have you feeling better in no time."

Inuyasha eyed the Rin skeptically. "Wot is it?"

Rin's brown eyes danced as she saw the uncertainty in Inuyasha's amber eyes. "A bath, then a rub down, and some medicine!" She exclaimed laughing as Inuyasha squirmed trying to get out of her embrace.

Sesshomaru's hard amber eyes softened at this little display of genuine affection Rin was showing his young son it had always been like this. Always. He watched for a few more moments before deciding he had a few minutes to kill now that he didn't have to play nurse.

Sesshomaru moved away from the living room and headed for the steps as he made his way up he passed Inuyasha's room and decided to stop in there and tidy it up a bit.

As he walked in he looked around the room and took in the scenery. "My room was nothing like this when I was a kid." He said aloud more to himself than anyone.

The room was red with black out lining here and there. The room was a mess due to Inuyasha play-date with Miroku Holloway, whose parent's lived in the same building as them and were members of the board at work. Black and red leather beanbags adorned the floor along with X-Men Figurines, and Hot Wheels. Sesshomaru frowned at the mess.

Sesshomaru sighed as he began to put everything in its original place knowing that they wouldn't stay there for long if Inuyasha had any say in the matter. Straying over to the bed Sesshomaru noticed that it hadn't been made in ages, and it was beginning to smell. After pulling back the sheet and dumping them in the hall he wondered over to the hall closet and grabbed clean bedding.

After the bed was made Sesshomaru almost gagged at how much his son had changed him, because before him he didn't give a damn if little kids had clean sheets to sleep on, or warm food, and good homes he just cared about himself and his company. Thing's were easier that way after all.

Sesshomaru was about to leave the room when Rin walked in with a very sleepy Inuyasha cradled in her arms. It was a touching scene, really.

"I see you've managed to tire him out." Sesshomaru said as he watched Rin enter the room and pull the covers back depositing a much drained Inuyasha.

"No," She paused only to continue in a whisper. "More like he tired himself out."

Rin kissed Inuyasha's forehead before whispering to him. "Night, Chief. Sweet dreams."

"N-ite…*Yawn" Rin."

Sesshomaru watched as Rin tucked the covers tightly around him before exiting the room without a word. He turned to follow but stopped when he heard his brother call out softly. "Thank you…Daddy, for kweanin' my room." He slurred like a drunken man.

"Sure, now get some sleep." And with that he shut the door and headed downstairs to check on Rin only to find her sprawled out on the couch with a remote in her hand.

"Thanks." He said.

"No problem." Rin said as she channel checked. "After all I was just helping out friends in need."
