Authors note: Ummm...... well, this is my first story. If you like this story, please r&r so I know SOMEONE is appreciating my work. My story may suck, but I'll say it anyway: PLEASE DO NOT STEAL MY CHARACTERS OR MY PLOT. Names I can deal with, seeing as I borrowed alot of them from other shows and stuff like that.... Umm.... so..... anyway. LET THE STORY BEGIN!! lol.

No one saw the person coming until she was there with Riku's neck in her hand. Her eyes blazing, she looked at her with nothing but pure fury in her eyes. Kouga was knocked on the ground by her when she came running at Riku. She was definately a demon. She smelled mostly of wolf, with maybe a quarter dog demon. She had long back hair and a tail matching her hair. Her eyes where a vibrant green and she had pointy ears. She was wearing wolf furs, but they where all silver. She had a white fluffy mantle, like Sesshomaru's, on her right shoulder. At her waist was a short sword, that looked old and worn. She growled fiercly at Riku, then looked down to Kouga, while everyone else was stunned. No one moved but the newcomer. She saw Kouga on the ground and smiled smally. Kouga was still stunned until the new girl started chocking the life out of Riku.
"NO EMI! DON'T KILL HER!" he screamed at the girl, Emi. She turned and looked at Kouga, looking angry and confused.
"Why the hell not?! She hurt you!" she fired back at him, causing him, Inuyasha, and Shippo to flinch from her loud voice. Riku pulled her hand away from 'Emi's' arm, and put it to the girls chest, mumbled some words, which caught everyone's attention, and her hand began to glow once again.
"What the hell?!" Emi yelled. She flew back a moment later, and this time, Riku was let go, thus flinging Emi back, and leaving Riku standing on her own feet. Kouga sighed with relief that Emi hadn't killed her.
"Emi, what are you doing here? I thought you were told not to go any where! You know what happened the last time you were out!" he yelled while running to Emi.
"Oh, Kouga, shut your beef-hole. You know I do whatever I want, whenever I want! Without you there to keep me at the den, who else would stop me from leaving! Especially if I was out to find you." she replied almost immediatly, then turned her attention toward Riku, growling a bit at her, causing Riku to blow rasberries at the girl she didn't even know, but knew the girl could probably kick her ass, but it was fun to taunt anyway! Emi rose a brow at her childishnes, sniffed the air, and smiled. "I know who you are. Or I know your scent. You've been at the den before, and I know you can't be human. So, the only question I have, is who's your daddy? Baralai, or Daisuke?" she said, still smiling. Riku looked puzzled at her question, but when she opened her mouth to reply, Emi interrupted her. "It has to be Baralai. I can smell his blood in your veins, and he is, or was, the only demon I know who mated a human priestess." she smiled wider, showing her fangs a bit when she did so. "Now, my next question..." she said next. "How do you know Kouga?" she asked, this time, she did give Riku time enough to answer. "We're old friends. We met years ago." Riku answered curtly. Emi nodded, still smiling. "Now, my last question...." she said next.
"Why where you beating on MY Kouga?!" she shouted next, causing Inuyasha, Shippo, and Kouga to cover their ears from the loud noise.
Everyone sat stunned at the unexpected question. Then, Inuyasha, Sango, and Miroku burst into laughter. Kouga's face turned ten shades of red as everyone sat laughing at him.
Riku smiled and choked back a laugh. "I suppose this is why Kouga has such an inflated ego." Sango said between bits of laughter. Emi looked puzzled.
"Emi, right?" Riku asked. Emi nodded, still looking confused. "Kouga has probably promised to mate you, right?" Riku continued. Emi nodded again.
"Hey, wait a damn minute! I didn't promise to mate anyone but Kagome...and Riku....." Kouga said. Emi stared at him in disbelief, while Riku smiled and shook her head. "Kouga, your the most fickle man I have ever met. You have promised yourself to me, then to Ayame, then Kagome, and now Emi?" Riku spoke with her arms folded in front of her. "Its a good thing I don't think of you as anything more than a big brother, huh?" Riku said, smiling.
Emi growled low as she turned to Kouga. "You dare to promise yourself to me after you've already been promised to another?" she growled out to him as the edges of her iris' stared to turn red.Kouga rolled his eyes nonchalantly at her. "I promised myself to no one after Kagome. You probably got me mixed up with someone else, so quit bugging me and go find him!" he shouted back as he turned his back on her. Riku smiled to herself. 'Wrong move', she thought.
Then, the unbelievable happened, as a dark siloutte came out of the forest. The siloutte had long silver white hair and a mantle...just like Emi's.
