Tittle : Rin's Adventerous Development!
Summary : What happens as Rin grows up while still traveling with Sesshomaru? How does he react to the different stages, as she slowly developes from her current state of a child, into a veluptous woman before his very eyes! How will he react when boys start to notice her and she notices them back? READ to find out......

CHAPTER 1!!!
One day while watching Rin and Jaken, playing in the water and catching fish.
Sesshomaru was sitting against a tree.
Rin came running up to him and said excitedly, "Lord Sesshomaru! Lord Sesshomaru! Look how many fish jaken and I just caught!" as she held up a rope with a ton of fish on it, she beamed up at him.
Then she proclaimed, "Now we will have pleanty to eat!"
She smiled then walked off to the fire and prepared the food.
Sesshomaru thought to hisself, 'Hmmm I wonder when she is gonna outgrow her silly childishness?'
After she ate they decided to set off again.
She followed behind him happily sining to herself.
Then when they stopped about an hour before sunset she happily asked, "Lord Sesshomaru, may I go pick some pretty flowers?"
He sighed looked at her puppy dog eyes and answered flatly, "Go ahead Rin."
She beamed up at him then ran off happily singing to herself and began picking a handful of the different flowers.
All this time Jaken was watching over her and Sesshomaru was resting by a tree.
This went on day in and day out for a few more years untill one day Rin was very quiet and not her usually chattering happy self.
Instead she is barely moving.
Sesshomaru noticed this, walked over, stood in front of her and asked "Rin. Why are you not chattering and carrying on about as normal? Is something wrong?"
Rin looked up and said "It is my stomache my Lord...when I move it hurts."
Sesshomaru looked at her and said "Tell me Rin how long has it been hurting?
She looked up at him and replied " Only today my Lord."
He stood up and shrugged it off thinking "Perhaps she has become temporarily ill?"
He put her ontop of Aun and they took off.
Over the next couple of days Rin continued to have pains in her stomach.
On the third day Sesshomaru thought to hisself "Hmm I'd have thought she would be over it by now. I wonder what's going on? Perhaps I should seek out Inuyasha's group? He has human girls with him. Perhaps they will be able to tell me whats wrong?"
So that evening he sought out Inuyasha's group, foundd them camping, appeared before them and spoke
"Cat. You are a healer, so perhaps you can explain something to me?"
Cat got up, walked over to him and said "Very well, Good sir. Tell me what puzzels you?"
He looked at her and said "For the last several days Rin has not been her normal chattering and energecting self. She has been having pains in her stomach and dosen't move anymore then neccesary. What can possibly be going on?"
Cat looked at him and asked "Tell me Sesshomaru, how old is she?"
He got a puzzled look on his face and said "13 and 1/2. What has that to do with it?"
Cat said "I see."
Cat walked over to Rin and asked "Rin. Can you tell me if you have noticed if the pain increases when your stomach gets wet or cold?"
Rin looked at her with a frown and said " Actaully now that I think about it! I did get out of the water because it was making the pain worse. Why?"
Cat smiled, noded her head once, turned to Sesshomaru and said "I belive I know what is happening, but you will not like the answer!"
Sesshomaru frowned and demanded "Tell me now!"
Cat grinned and said "Well Sir the girl is the right age now."
He got a confused look on his face and demanded "Right age for what woman? Out with it!"
Cat smiled and said "She is growing up sir, and her body is going to start going thru certain changes......"
Sesshomaru looked her in the eyes and demanded "What do you mean? Enough of this nonesense!! You shall tell me outright NOW! "
Cat looked at him and said "She is starting her first period."
Sesshomaru became even more confounded and said "What is a period? and is this normal?"
Cat replied calmily "It is perfectly normal for girls her age. A period is, a menstraul cycle if you will."
Sesshomaru frowned and said "HUH!?!
Cat looked at him and said "Okay let me rephrase this in a way you will understand...it means she has reached the point where her body is getting itself ready to reproduce"
"WHAT!?!" Sesshomaru bellowed.
Back with Inuyasha and co.....
Everyone else was standing there wondering what was going on.
When they heard Sesshomaru bellow, Koga thought to himself 'I better go protect Cat.'
Just as he started to move forward Kagome reacheed over and grabbed his arm.
He turned his head to look at her, she shook her head and said "Don't Koga! Cat will be fine! Trust me!"
Koga Sighed and stayed put.
Howerever he still watched Cat and Sesshomaru' s encounter very closely, ready to jump in at a moments notice should it become appearent she was in need of protection.
Inuyahsa stared at Cat and Sesshomaru with a dumb founded look on his face.
Sango had already guess as well as Kagome what was being talked about.
Miroku watched as everything unfolded.
Back with Sesshomaru.....
Cat said "Her body is prepring itself to be ready when she mates..."
Sesshomaru frowned harder and cut her "But she is WAY to young to mate!" he fumed.
Cat looked at him calmly and said "I agree, however her body is now prepring itself for that time. Calm down please sir!"
He calmed down a bit and she continued "I will explain to you and her what needs to be done, as this will start happening quite freqeuntly, I would say once every month."
Sesshomaru turned red from embarrasement and shook his head mumbling "I am NOT ready for this!"
Cat looked at him and replied "Maybe not, but is IS happening! And as much as you want to. Even YOU can NOT stop it!"
He looked into her eyes and asked "So what do I do now?"
Cat looked at him and said "Well for starters, Let me talk to her and explain it first, then I will tell you."
Cat walked over to Rin and said "Now listen to me carefully Rin. Whats happeing is normal for girls your age. It means that your body is going to start going thru certain changes...This is refered to as Puberty."
Rin looked up and asked "What kind of changes?"
Cat smiled and said "Well for starters Rin. What you have been going thru the last few days is only the begining. It's becasue you are sarting you period."
Rin interupted asking "What's a period?"
Cat continued "Umm well Rin, It's...When your body has stored up everyhting it needs to support a baby...and then when you don't have a baby in you. You will have bettween 5 and 7 days every month, where your body will release all the blood that your body had stored up. That called a period. Understand so far?"
Rin blushed and noded.
Cat continued "In my time girls wear what they call a pad, however, in this time they don't have that! So what you could do is fold up a piece of cloth...You know what! I will be right back."
Then Cat walked over, got into her sack and pulled out the extra cloth that Kaedee let her keep.
Just before she turned around to head back over to Rin, Koga stepped up to her and said "Cat what's going on, and what is that for?"
Cat looked at him and said " I will explain to you after I am done explaining it to Rin and Sesshomaru."
Cat walked back to Rin while a stunned Koga looked on.
"Ok Rin now I am gonna tear this for you in several pieces, and I will explain some more."
Cat tore the cloth into about 20 even pieces and said "Okay Rin now watch how I fold this ok."
Then she folded one piece into a make shift pad and said "After you fold this, then you lay this cloth inside you underwear and it will work just like a pad. Be sure to keep your self clean, and change the cloth every few hours ok! And imidiately wash out the ones you have used. Do you understand so far Rin?"
Rin noded her head really embarased, and Cat continued "Okay Rin, this also means that very soon your chest will start getting sore because you will start getting boobs. Also your body will go thru some other changes but I won't go into those right now ok. I think we have both been embarresed enough for a while. One more thing when your stomache hurts like this its called cramping and if you keep your stomach warm it should help ease the cramps ok."
Rin noded her head.
Cat walked back over to Sesshomaru and repeated everything she told Rin.
All the while Sesshomaru was now sitting on the ground holding his head in his hands moaning "I am so NOT ready for this!"
He looked up at Cat, they were both embaressed as hell at this point. "Ummm It's really important she changes the cloths on a regular basis and alll....and ummm If shes cramping really hard keeping her stomach warm will help ease the cramps..."
When she finally finished explaining everything to Sesshomaru, and he got over his ramblings and emabaresment he looked at Cat and said "Thank you Cat for....you know explaining, and everything. God I hope I can handle this..."
Cat looked at him and said "After a while it becomes second nature and the two of you will think nothing of it....um well goodluck and all"
Then she turned around and walked back to the camp blushing the whole time still really embaressed wondering how she could ever tell Koga.
As Cat walked back to her friends, Sesshomaru looked over at Rin and said "Rin, it is time to leave."
Rin noded her head and then Sesshomaru lead Aun and they dissapeared.
Back with Inuyasha and co......
Cat was still red with embaresment, and getting even more embaressed by the minute, as she explained to Koga and Inuyasha about everything she told Rin and Sesshomaru.
After she had finished explaining, both Koga and Inuyasha were beet red with embaresment.
Miroku was getting ready to make a comment when Cat looked at him, pointed her finger and warned "Don't you DARE Miroku! Not one word! Or so help me....! "
Miroku rethought it and remained speechless, and Kagome and Sango were laughing thier asses off!
