Souta relived the years of pain and loss during the following night. His body was shaking and he was sweating heavily. Rin could almost taste all the sadness that poured out of him.

-          Shhh, my love. Don't give up on me now, whispered Rin and kissed the top of his head. - I need you to pull yourself together again. I need you to fight for me. Please love… Don't let Rei have died in vain.

Rin could no longer hold back her own tears. Her arms tightened around his body as her tears silently fell on to his black hair.

Souta heard the soft voice as a faint whisper, it reached into that darkroom where his soul now hovered. He knew that voice all to well and he began clawing back towards the only one that could get him out there. "Rin, my beloved Rin…. where are you?"
