Ripping My Egyptian Heart

Kagome gasped at the huge temple before her. "It's so big!" She exclaimed.
Inuyasha chuckled at the girl's reaction. "Yes, it is."
Kagome smiled at her master. "Where will I stay?"
Inuyasha blushed, closed his eyes and scratched the back of his head. "Uhh..er..um.. My room."
Kagome cast her eyes down. "Oh, I see."
Inuyasha led Kagome to his room. "You are to accompany me. So, you stay in my room."
"Like Mika to Naraku?"
"Uhhh.. No questions now Kagome." Inuyasha didm't want her to know her position.
Kagome keep quiet. When Inuyasha brought her into his room she quietly walked into the room. She turned and faced him, but he just turned away from her and said, "Well, I'm going to study with my teacher, Sesshoumaru."
Kagome just nodded and watched the door close behind Inuyasha. She sighed and sat alone on Inuyasha's bed. Twenty minutes passed and Kagome fell asleep upon the egyptioan cotton bed.
Inuyasha stretched and walked into his quarters. He smiled at the small girl who slept on his bed. He moved her over and lay down next to her. He pulled a seperate blanket over him. He gave her a different blanket and turned his back to her. He drifted into his own sleep.
~~A year later....~~
Kagome twirled in front of the audience she withheld. Her graceful spins looked like no other. She held a pose and pranced off stage.
Kagome's audience whistled. Inuyasha smirked. Kagome always had impressed him with her dances. Inuyasha stood and walked toward Kagome who was in the middle of a conversation with a slave owner.
Kagome peered into the glass given to her by the slave owner's concubine who looked jealous. "I'm not thirsty.." Kagome said with a nervous smile as she put the drink down. 'Just as I suspected a powdery poison.' Kagome thought.
Inuyasha noticed the poison also and was glad Kagome had become fond of what poisons looked like, oily or powdery. Inuyasha interrupted the conversation. "Kagome, in my room now."
Kagome rushed off into Inuyasha's room. Inuyasha met her shortly. "Yes master?"
"Kagome, I want you to stay here you were almost poisoned."
"But I want to dance!" Kagome protested.
Inuyasha glared at Kagome. "I'm not allowing you to be hurt!"
"I don't care! I want to dance!"
"Kagome, if you don't stop I'll punish you." Inuyasha warned.
"Oh, bite me!" Kagome shouted.
Inuyasha threw Kagome to his bed and climbed over her. He moved the cloth from her shoulder and bit her! Kagome winced.
"What..What'd you do that for?"
Inuyasha shrugged. "You said bite me and so I bit you marking you as mine."
Kagome's eyes widened. Inuyasha stood. "Time for me to study." Inuyasha left the room like nothing happened.
"I shouldn't have protested.. But it felt good when he marked me.." Kagome spoke to herself. "Oh my..I'm in love with master!"
Over the next few weeks Kagome found herself following her master everywhere making sure not one person was to harm him. Weeks grew to months and months grew to years.
Inuyasha groaned. "Kagome, what the hell are you doing following me..Again!?"
Kagome looked away. "There is a snake in the master's presence.. I must protect him!" Kagome crouched down searching for the venomous viper.
"I don't want you going after it!" Inuyasha exclaimed.
Kagome paused. "But why?"
"Because I don't want you hurt." Inuyasha said.
"Nonsense Master, I am your slave, meant to protect you." Kagome said with a nod. Inuyasha just sighed.
"Kagome, stop." Inuyasha used a harsh tone.
Kagome stood up straight and stood before Inuyasha in wonder of why he used that tone. "Forgive me master,,"
Inuyasha blushed and closed his eyes. "Feh. Whatever."
Kagome kicked at dirt on the ground unsure of what she was suppose to do.
Inuyasha sighed. "I'm sorry I bit you. You challenged me though." Kagome was silent. "Are you mad?" Kagome just shook her head, no then smiled. "Well, then you may go dance in the slave's room. Alone. I shall be in there soon to retrieve you." Kagome nodded and ran off.
'Master... he cares for me, but not like I care for him, right? I feel like I'm in a tragic tale..' Kagome thought as she put delicate steps to the descending steps. It was empty in the slave's room. They were probably all busy. The slave's room was where cleaning devices and other things were. It was called the slave's room due to the fact that slaves were beaten down here.
Kagome heard footsteps going down the cement steps. She glanced up to see one of the male slaves who was always sexually harassing her by grabbing her when she walked by. Kagome was about to scream when the guy told her to shut up or else. She stayed quiet until he tryed to remove her clothes. She screamed. He hit her and tryed to run.
"Hojo, what are you doing?..." Inuyasha paused. His eyes flamed. "WHY IS SHE CRYING!?"
"She tripped." Hojo lied.
Kagome shook her head. "Guards!" Inuyasha yelled. Guards surrounded Hojo and carried him away. "Kill him." Inuyasha commanded.
Kagome covered her mouth. Inuyasha picked her up and carried her to his room. "Time to sleep." He announced. Kagome nodded and did not talk for hours. She beleived that she'd caused his death.
"Master, why did you kill him?" Kagome inquired.
"Kagome, he tried to rape you and two other girls already."
Kagome was silent then let sleep consume her. Inuyasha hugged her and waited for sleep to also consume him. His thoughts ran wild. 'Why do I want to keep her here, in my arms?', he thought, but never got to answer himself. For, he'd drifted into slumber.
