Epilogue: Lullaby

Kagome awoke to something wet licking her face. Groaning, she tried to push it away, but in whimpered and continued. Cracking her eyes, she found a puppy Sesshou giving her a bath.

"Sesshou! Stop it."

He gave her a pleading look-one that he knew she couldn't resist-as he nipped her hand.

"But Shippou just left to go back to school and Kilala has gone home and Violet is asleep. Please? One son gone, one friend gone and one daughter oblivious to the world." He whined.

Kagome laughed and woke up fully. "You're insatiable."

He grinned, "I know."

"Why do you always insist on giving me a spit bath?"

Licking her, he sat back and smiled. "Because you taste good, and I can."

She laughed and gave him a kiss. "I guess you'll just have to convince me why I should give you what you want."

An evil glint caught in his eye as he bent down and licked her stomach, making her shiver. Suddenly, a baby cried and Kagome smiled triumphantly as she pushed her husband off of her. He growled playfully and followed her into their daughter's room. Violet was screaming and Kagome picked her up, cooing to her softly.

"She's hungry."

"So am I."

Kagome laughed and sat down in a rocker as she began to nurse her inu youkai daughter. "Shame on you, Sesshou. Being jealous of your own daughter."

He walked over and watched as his wife nursed their daughter. Then he bent and kissed her on her head. "I'm not jealous. It just takes getting used to that I'm not the center of the universe anymore."

She laughed and looked at her daughter when Violet's black tail wrapped around Sesshou's wrist. "She looks more like you than she does me. The only thing I gave her is black hair."

Sesshou looked at his tiny daughter. She did have his markings, but she had her mother's timeless beauty. Kagome would never admit that Violet's beauty was inherited from her. Sesshou had given up trying to point that out. Slowly, Violet quite drinking and fell asleep. Kagome stood and placed her back in her crib after untangling her tail from Sesshou's wrist. The two stood their silently for a moment just watching their baby sleep. Tail came around Kagome' waist as Sesshou drew her to him and kissed her cheek.

"Shippou will graduate soon and then he'll find his own mate. Violet will be grown before we know it and give us grandkids."

"Hai, and we'll be lucky enough to know them. Let's take a vacation next week to the castle. Jaken's kept it modern and in good condition. I've always preferred it to the apartment."

"Why do we live here, then?"

"It's closer to Shippou's school and closer to your family."

Kagome kissed him. "Wherever you are is home. I don't care where we live."

Sesshou growled and picked her up, wrapping her legs around his waist. "Now, I believe there is a small matter of convincing I need to tend to."

Kagome giggled as he walked out of the room. "Not so small, I'm sure."

He laughed. "You may be right, but I'm going to take it slow."

Kagome rubbed his ears and felt him get very aroused. Seeing as she was only wearing a tee shirt and panties, while he had on only boxers, she decided to see if he could make it back to their room. Deftly, she reached between them and began stroking his awakening shaft. He groaned and propped her against a wall. She laughed and licked his ear as she continued stroking. Sesshou raised his head and glared at her.

"Is this a battle of wills, bitch?"

She released his straining member and lightly ran a fingernail down the length of it. He growled as she replied, "Whatever gave you that idea, jackass?"

Pumping him in alternating short and long strokes, Kagome watched his eyes dilate. Sesshou groaned and took her hands away as he brought one of his hands up to his mouth. He licked two digits and smiled evilly at her as he thrust them into her. Kagome groaned and clutched his shoulders as he continued stroking her from the inside out. He brought her to the brink of an orgasm before pulling out and licking his fingers clean. She watched him lick off her juice and felt herself become so wet she was sure she was dripping on the floor. Sweeping up her all ready hiked shirt, he took one of her nipples in his mouth and began suckling. Kagome moaned and arched into his face. Sesshou smirked and licked a drop of milk from her swollen breast.

"Your milk is delicious, my dear. Perhaps I should get you pregnant more often." He licked the other nipple and then gently blew on it, watching it peak.

"Kami, Sesshou, stop teasing me. Now!"

He started to deny her but felt her rub her wet flower across his rod. Groaning, he swept aside her panties and pumped into her. He gripped her behind as she was braced against the wall and pillowed her head with his tail. Faster than either realized, they peaked and spiraled out of control. Sesshou waited until he quit spurting into her to carry her to their room and exhaustingly lay them on the bed.

"It's a good thing youkai can control when they procreate," she said drowsily.

He sighed and pulled her close. "Hai, you little vixen. Next time, I'm going to make it doubly slow just to punish you."

She laughed, but kissed him lovingly. "Well, we do have forever."

And they lived happily ever after…the end.
