A/N: YAY! An update! WHOOHOO! Ok, so I have updated the Hauntings and can therefore update any other fic until my readers start complaining again. I know I said that I would update in order….but this is one of my laatest ones and I had the inspiration nooow. *whine*
Wow. I didn't think many people would like this. Also, if the Inukouga sexiness is taking too long for you guys than I recommend reading “Batsu” buy one of my favorite authors: liana_bluestar. Warming Male preg…
Right so normally I just e-mail a reply to comments, but seeing as how so few reviewers are logged in….I can't really do that. So I'll just reply like most of my favorite authors do:
Sinashi:
“This is REALLY startin ta piss me off. Ya wanna know why?” Honestly, I thought you were going to berate me on how Inuyasha and Kouga would never have that kind of relationship. I've been waiting for flames since I first put this up and reading your first comment; you scared the crap out of me. I agree New York Rocks! My bestest online friend Kola lives there! So yeah…I'm happy! *hug* Much thanks to you! Here's the update, with Inuyasha and Kouga a little more in character.

“Kouga!”
That voice…Kagome?
“Kouga help me please.”
Kagome where are you?
“Kouga I can't find Inuyasha, I need your help, please!”
“Its all right Kagome…Inuyasha is safe…he's here.”
The image came clearer to Inuyasha, Kagome was sobbing in Kouga's chest, her arms rapped protectively around her. Why didn't he ever do that? How come whenever she cried all Inuyasha was able to do was stand there…and yell at her. Why had he never comforted her? Had Kagome come looking for him? She returned to this world to come for him…like she always did.
“Inuyasha?” He heard her ask, he couldn't move…couldn't do anything but watch them. “Inu….yasha…” Her face was getting closer…slowly descending upon him…and he didn't have the strength to push her away…didn't want to push her away…
“Hey…mutt…” his eyes opened to see Kouga were Kagome had just been. Bolting up his forehead collided with Kouga's, both letting out a yelp. Kouga sat back with a blush. “Heh…” he said turning around to face the fire. “Your fever went down, you feeling any better?” what had he been thinking, getting so to the mutt. But he was moving around and murmuring in his sleep…he wanted to know if anything was wrong…
“Where am I?' Inuyasha asked, the threatening tone wavering a little, part from curiosity, part from exhaustion.
“I already told you, I brought you too this cave after the fight.” Kouga glanced over his shoulder, looking at Inuyasha. His nose wrinkled slightly at the smell of dog now vastly stronger with him being wholly conscious, yet the past few days left the mutt smelling…a little like himself…
“What fight?” Inuyasha asked, shattering Kouga's musings and reminding him that this wasn't some wounded pup, it was the mutt, his rival, the person his Kagome lov—” He shook that thought from his head the moment it entered. She was his woman, and no one, especially not this dog, was going to take her away.”
“The one by the river, the vines pierced you straight through; did you even realize it was behind you?” That was a lie; it was off in the forest, its scent so very faint, you would only smell it if the vines were dangerously close…but the mutt didn't need to know that.”
“I don't even know what you're talking about!” Inuyasha shouted, trying to stand.
Ginta opened an eye and glanced over at them, “You seem to be feeling better Inuyasha.”
Inuyasha turned to face him, but the wolf had already fallen back asleep.
“Whatever.” He growled and began stomping towards the front of the cave. It was raining outside, the thundering sound echoing, growing louder as he reached the opening. The night scene was dark, and he wished he could stay in the cave by the warm firelight, but not with the wolves…he would rather the freezing rain than spend anymore time with them. He wobbled slightly, the cold wind changing direction an instant, sending a spray of rain down on him. Shivering he brought his arms around himself, realizing his yukuta and haori were both missing.
He suddenly felt dizzier, his surroundings becoming a blur. He looked around, for anything that would focus, but the only thing close to him was the wolf. Even the cave walls were too far away and had melted into the surrounding colors. The wolf just stood there, gazing outside the cave, his arm extended, red cloth folded over it. It only took a moment to realize it was his cloths. Slowly the blur of colors dissipated and he was once again in the cave entrance. Kouga turned to face him, looking contemplative, his turquoise eyes becoming a deeper, darker blue.
A second wave of nausea hit him, this time almost making him bend over…but that would place him right in the wolfs chest, and no amount of pain would ever cause him that humiliation.
The wound in his torso throbbed, each pulsate sending a new wave of pain throughout his body. His vision darkened, and he watched as the pensive look on Kouga's face turned to that of raw concern…like the ones his friends wore whenever he was in pain.
Was Kouga really worried for him?
He didn't have time to dismiss the thought, the darkness descended upon him, crushing him under its weight. He fell forward, unable to hold himself up any longer.

“Mutt, you really thinking about leaving in the rain?” Kouga asked. He had gathered the dogs clothing and had them folded across his left arm. There was a large hole in the yukuta, but the haori was astoundingly…undamaged. He pondered that a moment before tossing the musings to the back of his mind. Stepping up beside his rival he held out his arm, not even glancing at the dog. He watched the rain, flowing down like a curtain over the forests that climbed up the side of the mountain. The distance was a gray blur, green leaves and branches molded together in the darkness.
He waited for the mutt to take his cloths back…but the light weight of the fabric still rested upon his arm. Slowly he turned to face the silver haired dog. Inuyasha wasn't staring out into the rain anymore…the dog was staring straight at him, didn't even shift his gaze when Kouga turned to face him. Their eyes met and Inuyasha looked like he was going to say something…
Inuyasha's gaze never shifted, his golden eyes clouded over with a mist, never blinking. Unconsciously his hands came up to wrap around his torso. Kouga realized that that was where the vine had pierced his body. He was in pain again! Those golden eyes cleared for a moment; focusing on him and studying his face…just for an instant, but what shone in those eyes was something he could never forget.
They were not the eyes of his rival; there was no way those hypnotizing orbs could have belonged to the guarded brute he clashed with so often. But they were his; those pain filled eyes that studied his face for what seemed an eternity, looking to him like Ginta and Hakaku did almost every day…like he was the strongest in the world and would never let him be hurt. Slowly they closed, eyelids falling shut like a curtain over those glorious golden eyes.
Kouga reached out to touch the dog's shoulder, to maybe bring him out of whatever reverie he had been in, but before he could reach, the dog wavered…then fell, collapsing into him. It was an impulse; He only wrapped his arms around the dog to keep him from falling. Still, Inuyasha had not turned away in pain, not dashed off into the rain away from them. He had stayed; when it became clear that he might pass out he stayed in the cave.
Those eyes…
Did the mutt really trust him?

Ok, for those who have been reading the doujinshi I made *coughKolacough* I know that this chapter is vastly different, and you are probably all screaming at me, or weeping with joy, that Ginta and Hakaku didn't die, though you may also hate me for having Inuyasha wake up before Kagome kisses him. Also, I will not be continuing with the doujinshi…it just sucked to bad…but yes, Kagome will come in shortly, there were only minor changes, next chapter will pick up where I left off in chapter 3 of the doujinshi. But I will not update the doujinsh, and it has been officially taken off my site. Sorry Kola, no hot male lovin scenes for you, draw them yourself!
For those of you, who haven't read the doujinshi, push that last paragraph to the farthest reaches of your mind, for I will not post it again. Think of it this way, without the pg13 restraints placed upon my webpage…Inuyasha and Kouga can “yeah” without having kids complain about how different it is from the doujinshi.
So enjoy! And the next update will probably come next month…or whenever I feel like it. Neahh!
