InuYasha Fan Fiction ❯ Romance in the Clouds ❯ Their First Time ( Chapter 1 )

[ X - Adult: No readers under 18. Contains Graphic Adult Themes/Extreme violence. ]

Disclaimer: I do not own Inuyasha and Co. The name Skyhawk Skydiving is something I made up off the top of my head, but I'm not sure if there is a place actually called Skyhawk Skydiving, so if there is such a place, I don't own that either. Characters that are not Inu and Co. are actual people who I jump with and have their permission to use their names, though I'll never give last names. Okies, enjoy the fic!!

Kagome sat in the car, taking deep breaths trying to steady herself. Her hands were in her lap slightly shaking. She was already nervous and she wasn't even out of the car yet. She was going to go Skydiving. Sango had wanted to do it for as long as she could remember, and made Kagome promise to go with her on her first time. So now here they were. Kagome wasn't sure she'd be able to go through with it.

Sango was gazing around excitedly, “Kagome! This is so cool! Look at this place, it's awesome!”

To be honest, Kagome couldn't see what was so great about it. There were 3 small planes out in front, that barely looked like they could drive down the street let alone fly in the air. There was a building that looked basically like a garage, which she guessed was the hanger, but it was not filled with planes like one would think. Oh no this one had carpet along one part, odd looking swings hanging off the rafters. There were people rolling around on what looked like mechanics dolly's doing formations, with other people just hanging around and laughing.

“Come on Kagome! Let's go!” Sango said excitedly. Kagome sighed and followed Sango up to the hanger. As they were walking up a girl at a desk looked up and smiled as they came up, she got up from behind her desk and walked up to them. “Hi! Welcome to Skyhawks Skydiving. My name is Kat. Who's going skydiving today?” Sango's hand immediately shot up, while Kagome just raised her hand meekly. The girl named Kat seemed nice enough, she had a wide smile, a black tank top that said `Don't forget to pull' across it. Kagome wondered for a moment what that meant. Long blonde hair was pulled into a low pony tail, and a purple and white full body suit was on her legs with the top portion wrapped around her waist like a sweatshirt.

Kat suddenly got very solemn and looked at them like they were crazy, “Now why would you want to jump out of a perfect…” Kat paused for a moment, and then looked at the planes lined up, “Well a working airplane? You people are nuts! I would never get in one of those airplanes!” Sango laughed whole heartedly while Kagome just gave a nervous laugh. Kat noticed Kagome's nervousness and smiled at her. “Don't worry, they looked beat up, but that's only because we made them that way. They work beautifully and are all up to date on their mandatory maintenance.” Kat smiled at her and then waved at them to follow her. “Come on follow me, we'll get your waivers filled out.”

“Waivers?” Kagome asked, they had to sign stuff? She was getting more nervous by the second. Kat then turned around and handed them both a clipboard with papers on it. “Yeap waivers, basically says if you die, or get hurt… you won't sue us.” Kat smiled and handed them the papers. “There are seven pages there. You need to fill out all of them, there are picnic tables, chairs and couches all around. Take your time, once you finish that, we'll get you trained up!”

Kagome and Sango sat on some old couches that were probably made in the late 40's. The waiver was enormous, covering every single thing, from injuries to death, to other stuff Kagome couldn't even understand. She looked over at Sango who was rushing through it while Kagome through it carefully. Occasionally Kagome would look up and glance up and look around. It seem the people were really nice, everyone was smiles and jokes. Kagome glanced at Kat who was talking to a tall man, with long white hair, and dog ears on top of his head.

`My gods he's gorgeous' She thought, as she watched him help Kat with a body position. Finally when Kat was in a standing position, she looked over her shoulder and smiled at her. Kat walked over and looked down at them, “All finished?” She asked, with her hands on her hip. Sango nodded enthusiatically and handed the clipboard to Kat, and Kagome merely handed it over.

Kat plopped down on the couch between the two, and glanced through them, signing here and there. “All right these look all good. I'll go grab your instructors and then get you guys trained up, then once that's done I'll be back to get you guys geared up, and then we'll push you out of the plane.” Kat looked over at another clipboard in her hands, “Hmm… ok, it looks like Miroku and Inuyasha will be your instructors.” She sighed mournfully, “I'm sorry, but they're all we have left.” Kat got up and walked away with a quick wink over her shoulder.

Sango looked at Kagome and bounced on the couch. “It's really gonna happen! We're gonna skydive! This is gonna be awesome!” Suddenly a tall skinny man who looked like he spent too many years out in the sun, with bad teeth and shaggy black hair, walked over to them. “Hey there! I'm Jeff. Kat tells me you two are doing your first jumps today” Sango nodded, “GREAT!” He smiled, Kagome silently wondered if he had ever brushed his teeth. He then squatted down in front of him. “Did either of you want to get video?” Sango's eyes lit up suddenly, “You mean we can get video?! Of the actual jump?” She asked excitedly. Jeff smiled back and nodded, “oh yeah, we put it to music, and have special effects, and I'm right there, 5 feet in front of your face, getting the whole thing. Then I take 24 pictures so you can take around to all your friends!” Sango smiled and grinned, “Yeah then most definitely I want video” Jeff turned to Kagome who just shook her head slightly, “Um… no thanks, I don't want any reminders.” Jeff chuckled at Kagome, “trust me dear, you'll want a video. You'll never want to forget this.” Kagome leaned back slightly, he had a cigarette in his hand and it bothered her slightly.

Suddenly a shout rang out through the hanger. “JEFF!!” Jeff sunk his head and looked over his shoulder at Kat, who was giving him a look a mother would give a disobedient child, when she caught his eye she just raised her eyebrow and pointed outside. Jeff turned back and smiled at the two girls. “I broke the rules, no smoking in the hanger, you think about your video and let either Kat and I know.” Just then Kat came over and grabbed Jeff by his shirt and lead him outside. Sango turned on her friend. “Kagome you're getting a video.” She stated.

“Sango I really can't. I don't have the money for it.” Kagome reasoned. “Oh pfft, I'll pay for it. You're getting video!” Just then Kat came back over, “I'm sorry about that. Jeff told me that you guys are getting video?” She asked, and before Kagome could say anything Sango answered for her. “Yes we're both getting video.” Kat smiled, “Ok then, you'll each have your own video guy and tandem master! What fun!” Kat laughed and then looked around. “Have your instructors been by yet?” Kagome and Sango just shook their head. Kat rolled her eyes and sighed, “It's tough being the only girl around here.” She turned away again and headed off. Kagome leaned over to Sango, “Are you sure this is the best place to do this? They seem kinda unorganized…” Kagome chewed her lower lip worriedly. “Don't worry Kagome” Answered Sango, “I did lots of research, and this is the safest and friendliest skydiving place in the state, and they have some of the world's best skydivers who jump here” Sango explained excitedly, her eyes never staying in one place. “I don't know about this Sango, I'm really nervous…” Kagome trailed off

“That's ok, if you're not even the slightest bit nervous, we are.” Kagome looked up and there stood the guy she was looking at before. His eyes were the most beautiful shade of amber, and his cocky grin showed glistening fangs. Kagome felt her heart stop in her throat.

“Hi, I'm Inuyasha, and I'll be training you guys today to make sure we have time to go out and have a beer later.” Kagome really wasn't paying attention, she was too busy staring. She knew right then, she was most definitely in trouble.
