I think someone mentioned writing more prevents writers block, and I totally agree. So this chapter alone is twelve pages long in Word and I hope you enjoy it. I am so inspired to write tonight I'll start on the next chapter right away. :)

Oh and I got some crazy! Reviews from some people that are just hilarious, keep it up! Love em :) I read all your comments, I take your suggestions to heart, but I pretty much have the whole story already written in my head, I just need to find the time and energy to put it on "paper."

Disclaimer: If I owned Inu and the crew, I wouldn't be writing fan fictions. I would be making sure they all got down and dirty already!

Chapter seven, A night gone horribly wrong.

"Let's see what Miroku has that's drinkable." InuYasha suggested, moving into the small kitchen. Kagome followed on shaky legs. He opened the small fridge and bended to look inside - unconsciously giving his roommate, a perfect view of his butt.

She swallowed hard and looked away, this was not going to work, everything he did was adding to her nervousness. Taking several deep breaths as discrete as possible, Kagome waited to be served with whatever he might find in there.

"Is coke okay with you?" She nodded, not speaking.

InuYasha moved to take down two glasses from the cabinet and ice out of the freezer, only to pause when he removed the bucket of frozen water. Was it his imagination, or was Kagome . . . scared? It wasn't the throat clenching scent of fear. No. She was nervous. Insecure. If he had been more confident of his own feelings, InuYasha would have smirked. But instead he was once again faced with his own motives. Did he want her, as more then just a friend?

He was attracted to her, he wasn't going to deny that. She was, a lot sweeter then he had given her credit for previous to this morning. But after spending the day with her. After getting to know more of whom she was, and how she functioned he found himself falling - no, that was way too soon, he couldn't possibly fall in love with someone he hardly knew.

Shaking his head, InuYasha tried to clear his thoughts - but the girls scent still hovered over him like a reminding cloud. He turned to face her, smiling softly through his own confusion.

"How much ice?"

Kagome snapped out of her own haunting thoughts, feeling a bit calmer. "Just three cubes, please." Her roommate turned back to the counter, continuing his task. Removing the black lid, InuYasha reached inside and took out six chunks - placing them in the crystal glasses.

Kagome moved to sit at the white kitchen table, sinking down in an oddly comfortable deep-green plastic chair. Much to her surprise Miroku's kitchen was actually . . . homey. The only window sported a moss-colored curtain and a black shaded lamp - that cradled the room a soft electrical light.

However, her close inspection of the area was interrupted when a glass with the sticky soda was placed before her. "Thanks," She nodded.

InuYasha moved to sit across from her, on the other side of the table. "We should thank him when we get over there." He said as he took a seat.

"Who? Miroku?"

"Yeah, Keh. He never has anything at home. It's not like he's broke, yet he can't buy his own groceries."

Kagome snickered softly, remembering her previous thoughts that InuYasha probably didn't know the first thing about buying food - but instead had to eat her words when she noticed his stuffed cabinets.

The half-demon smiled along with her amusement, golden eyes glittering slightly in the dim lit room. A comfortable silence fell between them as they drank their drinks, slowly sipping its content. Kagome was the first to say something, after placing the glass down on its coaster.

"I had a good time today." She blushed prettily, curving her lips up into a smile.

Her roommate returned the gesture, smiling back. "Yeah, it was fun. We should do it again."

She nodded, agreeing. If he would have asked her out right there and then she would have jumped at the opportunity to spend a day with him again. Kagome drank the last of her soda and moved to rinse out her glass. But as she twisted on the hot-water she never took noticed of the alarmingly sharp knife hidden behind the faucet until she felt the cold metal cut the thin skin on her index finger. She yelped and jumped back, sticking the digit into her mouth.

Her roommate was instantly by her side, touching her shoulder.

"What happened?" He demanded, trying to yank the finger free from the pressure of her lips. Reluctantly she allowed him to take a look at it. Why did his hand around her wrist have to be so warm? Her thoughts were knocked right out of her head when he parted the skin, making her wince as more blood poured out of the wound.

"It's not deep," He informed softly, resisting the urge to stick the finger into his mouth. InuYasha knew his saliva would help with the healing, but he couldn't risk it. So instead he started to move, half-dragging his roommate into the bathroom.

Once inside he let her hand fall from his grip as he bent to look into the low glass cabinet for a first-aid kit. He heard Kagome take a seat on the hard-wooden hamper next to him. He glanced up and instantly regretted his move, for all his eyes could see were her long feminine legs which were crossed but still provided him with a peak of her underwear.

InuYasha threw his head back into the cabinet, continuing the looting while hiding his blush. Out of all nights she had to wear black lace, and out of all nights he had to see them. He closed his eyes, shaking his head slightly - it was so hard not to look.

"Keh, finally." InuYasha growled out when his fingers collided with a band-aid box behind a bleacher bottle.

Removing one from its container, the hanyou peeled away the plastic from the sticky area dumping it in the trash basket behind him. Kneeling in front of Kagome, he asked her to show him her finger.

As he wrapped the band-aid, Kagome realized how close he was when he leaned forward brushing his warm chest against her legs. With just a tiny bit of courage she could have kissed him, if she really wanted to.

And by now, Kagome was not even denying she wanted to date him. There was no use, she wasn't going to lie to herself. She really liked him, the question was - did he like her?

InuYasha stood, bringing his lady roommate with him. "All better, princess." He said as he turned and walked out of the bathroom. Hearing her pad softly behind him, he knew she followed as he stepped into the livingroom, taking a seat on the couch. She also sat but on the other side, much to his disappointment.

He couldn't take his eyes off her, if it wasn't for her dress she could have so easily been mistaken for an innocent shy girl at that very moment. The clothing didn't match the attitude and he found himself wondering if Sango had a finger in this matchmaking game. Oh yes, InuYasha knew. He knew that their friends were setting them up. After all, it didn't take a genius. Not only was Kagome completely oblivious that she was wearing his favorite color, but the whole spending an hour alone when she looked like that was reeking 'planned.'

But he shouldn't complain, this was just another dropkick in the direction he was to chicken to take. The hanyou knew he liked her, it was so idiotic to deny that fact. So he was now determined to ask her out. If it didn't work between them, they could stay friends, but at least he would have given it a shot.

Trying to play it sly, InuYasha noticed a newspaper on the cushion next to where his roommate was sitting. A few ideas popped up in his head as he eased himself closer to the beauty, who was busy looking at the floor with interest. Stopping an arms length away InuYasha reached for the paper making sure to brush his knuckles against her thigh.

Kagome jumped at the touch, scooting further away. Her heart was hammering so loud she was sure he could hear it. 'Why did he do that?' She wondered silently as she tried to calm herself. But when she turned and noticed he was now reading the newspaper that had laid beside her she knew it must have been a mistake.

"Anything interesting?" She asked shyly, trying to strike up a conversation.

"You could say that," InuYasha replied as he turned to face her. He took notice in the change of her scent when he looked her up and down. She was nervous again.

"There is a horror movie marathon on tv tomorrow," He said turning his eyes back to the newspaper. "Would you like to watch it with me?"

Kagome visibly gulped, was he asking that as a date? She wasn't sure how she should interpret that so she nodded softly. "S-sure."

InuYasha was about to say something when a weird sound was heard and everything became pitch black. "What the hell?" He growled out. Getting out of the couch, he reached a hand inside his pocket fishing out his cell.

It didn't take long to speed-dial to Miroku, who answered on the second ring. "Yo."

"Where are your candles?" InuYasha barked as his greeting.

"Dang, Inu! You move fast man." His friend praised him in total awe.

"You damn pervert, your power is out. That's why I want to know."

"Power? Uh, I thought mom payed that."

"Evidently not, mommas' boy," InuYasha muttered, looking down at Kagome when he heard a giggle. He smirked but turned his attention back to the idiot on the phone when he said there were some in his bedroom.

"How much longer do we have to stay here?" He growled as he made his way through the apartment.

"Around fifty more minutes, we're almost done." Miroku promised.

"Keh, call me when we can come."

"Sure, have fun. You know where my toys are."

"Fuck you."

InuYasha heard his friend chuckle before hanging up. He cussed under his breath as he opened the Hentai's sleeping chambers and stepped inside. Being half-demon had its benefits as he could see perfectly in the dark. He frowned when he noticed his friends once messy room now neat and clean, everything tucked away and the bed was even made.

Shaking his head, InuYasha bent down by the dresser taking a few candle sticks out. But he fell backward onto the bed when a soft voice startled him half to death.

"So this is the bedroom." Kagome stood in the door opening holding a lit candle.

"Where the hell did, you find that?" The hanyou asked, astonished she had been able to sneak up on him like that.

"Oh, it was in the livingroom on the tv. There was a lighter there too." She held up a green device, showing it to him.

"Toss it over." He instructed as he rolled off the bed, walking toward her. Catching it, he lit one of the candle sticks in his hand. Glancing around the room, he quickly found a candle holder which he stuck the burning wax in. Turning around he noticed Kagome was now standing next to the bed looking at a painting of a dead angel he had given Miroku years ago.

"You're really good." She gasped silently, reaching her hand out and once again traces the pattern his paintbrush had taken with her fingertips. What was it about his art that spellbound her so? She was captivated by the way he painted, it was almost magical. So lost in her own world, she never took notice of him placing his candle on the dresser before approaching her.

But when his chest brushed lightly against her back she stood rooted, stiff and immobile. The last time they had been in this position was not forgotten and she found herself starting to breathe heavy. This time there was nowhere to run, no sanctuary to flee into. But could she risk leaning into him, again? What would he do? Would he push her away?

But InuYasha never did anything, he just stood there behind her feeling just as nervous as she. When she had touched the picture like that he couldn't think of anything else but how oddly erotic her actions were. Other people that admired his work did it with their eyes, but Kagome felt it. She expanded her mind to look beyond and deeper then anyone he had ever met before. Why did she do that? Was he that intriguing?

"I gave that to Miroku on his sixteenth birthday," He said softly, daring to step a little closer. "His parents went crazy, they even forbade us to hang out."

"Oh," Kagome breathed out but not moving from her spot. She knew she was blushing, her face felt so hot. She grasped at anything to keep her mind from clouding over, "Are . . . they . . . religious?"

"I guess so. They had a shrine nearby they always visited."

Kagome closed her eyes when his hot breath against her ear made her tremble like an asp-leaf. "I-I . . . " She stuttered, "I grew up . . . at a s-shrine."

The moment was over instantly when InuYasha reared back at her words. "You're a priestess?" He really wasn't asking, it had hit him like a ton of bricks. 'How could I have been so stupid? I should have been able to sense her powers.' And if there was something the hanyou didn't want again, was a miko girlfriend. He had lived in consent fear for five years, scared that Kikyou would find out who he really was and purify his demon ass. 'Like fucking hell, I'll go through that again.'

His roommate heard the rough question that sounded like something he spit out in clear contempt. "Yes, I was trained since I was a child." She turned around and faced him as he backed away slowly. "InuYasha?" His actions floored her, did this knowledge disgust him so much? Or was it the fact that he had almost . . .

Kagome was so confused she didn't even move when he walked right out of the room, leaving her behind. One moment he was ready to put his lips on her, and the next; he just turned and left. 'What is going on?' She didn't know what to think or how to react so she just stood there for along time letting the candles burn the minutes away.

InuYasha walked across the apartment and locked himself into the bathroom. He had been so close of repeating a past mistake, one that he swore not to do again. Dating a priestess was dangerous for any youkai or hanyou. He remembered it clear as day when Kikyou had rolled out a large ancient scroll and read its old script for him.

It had in detail told the reader how to slay any unholy creature. After closing it she had smiled prettily at him and said; every priestess is sworn to kill any demon and mixed breed. It was their duty to extinguish them. Although InuYasha knew that with time the youkai and humans had learned to live side by side in peace. It did little to stop the hatred for the offsprings of the two, as a nagging thorn of mistrust still nudged histories' bones. So it became common knowledge that they didn't mix, but of course some people just didn't care.

Shuddering, he moved and sat on the counter next to the sink. He needed to come up a damn good excuse to why he had just left the room like that. Otherwise Kagome might become suspicious and that was something he didn't want either.

Taking the phone out of pocket, InuYasha once again called Miroku. But this time when the boy answered he demanded him to excuse himself so they could talk in private.

"What's wrong?" His friend asked anxiously, after locking himself into the bathroom.

"Did you know Kagome is a priestess?"

There was a slight gasping sound on the other end. "No, I didn't."

"Well she is and I don't, fucking like this one bit."

"Calm down Inu. It's not like you two are a couple or anything . . . ne?"

"Keh, of course not! But the point is I almost fucking kissed her. I was so close to fuck up my life once again." The hanyou growled, he was so ticked that the most beautiful woman he'd ever seen was someone he now couldn't have.

"What are you going to do now?"

"Keh, I don't know. I guess I'll keep my distance."

"But what about the 'almost kiss'? How are you going to explain yourself?"

"Got any ideas?"

"Can't you just act like nothing happened?" Miroku replied hesitantly.

"Uh, I guess so," The hanyou groaned out, this wasn't fun anymore and atop of that he was getting really hungry. "So is dinner done yet?"

"Yeah, I think so. Just come over, I'll talk to Sango so she won't be at your throat or anything."

"Thanks, see you in five."

They hung up and InuYasha walked out of the bathroom. He was shocked to see Kagome in the livingroom next to the window. She had blown out the candles and was now staring at the starry sky. He felt like a complete jackass for leaving her like that, but it couldn't be helped. He just wanted a normal girlfriend for once. One that wouldn't turn and kill him once she knew who he really was.

Walking into the livingroom, InuYasha paused. "Eh, Miroku said it was okay to come over." He said softly, not wanting to startle her if she hadn't noticed his presence. She turned to him and nodded, confusion still flashed in her brown eyes.

"Let's go then." Kagome walked past her roommate and down to where she had left her shoes. During the time alone she had tried to figure out what might have scared or disgusted him so. But nothing came to mind but one thing. One that made her feel very little inside. He was part-demon and she was human. Of course he wouldn't want that. She was weak and useless, he was probably really strong and wouldn't lower himself to be with her.

A few moments later the two walked out of the apartment and toward a dinner neither was really up for any longer.

~%~

Sango danced around the kitchen preparing the last things. She was a determined hostess that would go to great lengths to have her guests enjoying themselves. Miroku had just informed her that her friend and InuYasha were on their way over, he had said the two didn't get along and needed to be separated. It wasn't hard to picture those two going at it so she just sped up her cooking and was actually done by the time the doorbell rang.

Ayame was standing behind her room door, her whole insides were tingling. She hadn't seen her first love in years, and it was really taking its toll on the girl. Not being sure if she loved him any longer but all the same very excited to see him again, Ayame tried hard not to shake when she heard his voice.

Miroku had let the roommates in and instantly told Kagome that Sango needed assistance in the kitchen. Without any arguments she had left the boys to themselves and their conversation.

"So, are you ready for the surprise?" Miroku asked his friend as he led him into the livingroom. InuYasha took a seat on a recliner and nodded.

"Okay, close your eyes."

The hanyou scowled at him before doing what he was told. His sensitive ears, however, picked up the light footsteps of another person entering the room. And soon a soft snicker, that could belong to no other then a girl. Had he been wrong about them setting him up with Kagome? Was this one of those stupid blind date things?

"You can look now."

InuYasha frowned when the command had came from no other then a female, a woman that he knew. Cracking his golden orb open he looked right into the eyes of an old friend, "Ayame?!"

Kagome and Sango could hear the celebration of the old friends being reunited. The older girl explained that it was her roommate and she had also been taken by surprise when her boyfriend had launched himself into the red-hairs arms.

They talked a little about Ayame and her connection to the two men in the apartment. And Kagome felt at ease that it was just a friendship thing. She was still struggling with her own feelings but she wasn't in denial that she was very attracted to InuYasha. So much, in fact, that when he had pulled away she was sure she had felt stinging pain in her very bones. There was no use to go any deeper then that - it was just that; she liked him a bit too much.

Miroku came into the kitchen and looped his arm around his lady's shoulders. They smiled at each other and shared a gentle kiss before Ayame and InuYasha decided to join them. Kagome could only stare and resist the urge to run when she saw a gorgeous red-haired demon attached to her roommate. They were holding hands and it looked like they were really into each other because it took the girl several minutes to notice the priestess, who was standing pressed against the counter feeling incredibly left out.

"You're Kagome, right?" Ayame chimed, stepping away from her first love. The smaller girl nodded and they shook hands. "I heard loads and loads about you from Sango."

Kagome didn't know what to say, she hadn't been informed of this redhead at all. And something told her that Sango had kept it secret for a reason. She could only guess why that was so. She hated being left in the dark, and especially by her best friend.

"Well it's nice to meet you," Kagome put on a game face and smiled through her own misery. She must have done an Oscar winning performance for the female demon smiled even brighter and started talking about how happy she was to finally meet her old friends again and make new ones.

They all chatted for a short time before Sango announced it was time to eat. Kagome could only watch as the two couples kept feeding each other and coo like they were all in love. 'So much for just friendship.' She thought as she picked at her food. Kagome had completely lost her appetite and was unable to kill the pain in her heart when she saw InuYasha play with Ayame's hand under the table.

It was getting too much for her, so she excused herself halfway into the dinner and left the room. The only place she knew she could have some sanctuary to think was her friends' bedroom so that's where she went. Practically ripping off her red dress, Kagome went and got a pair of jogging pants and jacket out of Sango's closet, there was no need to be all dressed up when no one noticed her. Sighing low, she sank down into the large bed - resisting the urge to climb under the covers and die. All she wanted was to go home, she needed her Mama's words of wisdom and her warm hugs.

It didn't take long before she was crying, everything was just wrong and she hated how it had turned out. She never took notice of the door opening and closing until she felt a warm hand on her shoulder.

"Kag, talk to me." It was Sango and she sounded really worried. The smaller girl climbed into her friend's embrace, seeking any kind of support. But when the taller girl started to coo and tell her everything was going to be okay, Kagome bawled even louder.

It took several minutes for Sango to calm her friend down. Something that was close too impossible, but when the last tear fell Kagome started to talk.

"I thought . . . he was interested in me."

"Who? Inu?"

Kagome nodded, stifling a sob.

"Oh Gods, something happened in Miroku's apartment didn't it?"

"He . . . we almost kissed."

Sango jerked and almost stood up, surprise and shock written clear across her face. "But Miroku told me you two were fighting and he said you needed to be separated before killing each other."

Kagome locked her bloodshot eyes with her friend. She was just as surprised as she, "What?" Shaking her head she blinked several times before whispering they had gotten along all night, he had been a perfect gentleman.

"Okay now I am really confused," The taller girl ran a hand through her loose hair. She was dressed really pretty, a black top and skirt with a scarf wrapped and tied around her slender neck. "Tell me everything, don't leave a single detail out."

Kagome told her friend as much as she could recall. The more she revealed the more surprised Sango looked. When she was finished, the girls just sat there in silence for a while, consumed by their own thoughts.

"You're way too good for him." Sango said after a few moments. "You don't need a jerk like that. I am sorry for forcing you to wear that dress."

"It's okay Sango, I wanted to." Kagome assured as she rubbed her eyes. All the crying, heartache and confusion had finally gotten to her and she was extremely tired. Her eyes became a bit darker when they both heard InuYasha's laughter seep into the room. "Even through all this, I still like him."

"Aw Kag," her friend sighed in sympathy. "You can always stay here when things get too heavy for you at home. Remember my door is always open for you. I can't believe I almost paired you up with that idiot."

"Don't worry about that, I wasn't exactly trying to stop you. If anyone is to blame here it's me, I always fall in love way too easily." As soon as those words left her mouth Kagome shook hear head, "No. Not love, more like a childish crush."

They girls just hugged each other for along time, finding in the other a long lost sister as their bonds of friendship grew even stronger. Sango noticed how Kagome got really heavy in her arms and she knew her friend had fallen asleep. After tucking her in between her covers, the taller girl made sure to kill the light before exiting the room.

As she walked into the livingroom, she had a bone to pick with her boyfriend. How could he have lied to her like that? Or was this all InuYasha's fault? Either way, Sango was pissed off and she would stop at nothing to make sure they understood how much they had hurt her friend.

Miroku saw his girl entering the room and instantly stood. But the fire in her eyes told him he was in deep shit. She turned and walked into the kitchen, and he took the cue to follow. Well inside he was instantly pinned against the refrigerator, as a clearly ticked off Sango almost hovered over him.

"Why did you lie to me?" She practically hissed. He knew he should be scared but oddly this turned him on, much to his dismay. Sango was clearly not in the mood to fuck and he knew if he didn't play his cards right he would never have her like that.

"Calm down Sweetie, what do you mean 'lie'? I haven't lied."

"Don't call me Sweetie!" Sango took a step back and he slid down to the floor. She scowled down at him before continuing, "You told me Kag and Inu were fighting, I just found out that was not the case at all. In fact, my dear, they almost kissed."

"Kissed?" Miroku echoed, he was determined to play his part right. But dear Gods help him, InuYasha would pay if she didn't buy it. "But Inu told me they were fighting."

"Well they didn't! So you're telling me - swearing on your mother's name. That you had no part in this?" She noticed how visually shaken he got by the mentioning of his mother, Sango knew he loved her to death and would nothing to soil her name. So she was actually shocked to see him shake his head.

"I swear, I had no idea."

"Well, okay." She gave him a last suspicious look before helping him off the floor and into her arms. "You need to talk to Inu. He hurt Kagome badly, so much that she cried her heart out and is now sleeping in my bed."

Miroku gulped but nodded, 'dear Gods man, what have you done?' After a few minutes of just kissing and hugging the two eased out of the kitchen and Miroku aimed straight for his friend. InuYasha looked really annoyed to be dragged out of the couch where he had sat really comfortable with Ayame. But that feeling changed when his best friend took him to the kitchen, where he told him about what had just happened and demanded to know if something else had been going on.

The hanyou felt incredibly guilty and ashamed. He had first flirted with Kagome and dropped her like a dirty rag without as much as an explanation - only to go straight to Ayame and touch her, like a potential girlfriend. Kagome must have seen everything - the hand holding, winking, caressing and playing. He groaned and turned to the sink to get himself some water. "I didn't know she liked me that much."

"Well evidently she does Inu. You have to tell her something, anything for Gods sake. And if you're really interested in Ayame I suggest . . . "

"Keh, I'm not. We're just friends, I guess I took it overboard though."

"To say the least," Miroku stated. He was done, covering for him and InuYasha knew it. "Ayame has had a crush on you since we were kids, she must have thought you were flirting with her. So now you have to explain yourself to her too."

"That's where you're wrong, Miroku." The half-demon turned after gulping down his water, "She told me she was in love with someone her dad had introduced her to a year ago and the feelings she had for me once was gone."

"But why were you two flirting then? I don't get it." The black-haired boy shook his head, InuYasha had gone to far this time. "Why do it in front of Kag?"

"Keh, we were just playing around, it's not like I aimed to hurt her." He defended himself, but knew deep inside that he had done it to show himself he could go with any woman he wanted. That he didn't feel the things he felt for his roommate.

"So what are you going to do?"

"I guess . . . I have to apologize."

Miroku stared at his friend, InuYasha never said he was sorry. Hell, he had been sure that his friend didn't even know the meaning of that word, and would go through his entire life without saying it.

"Hey, where are you going?" Miroku asked when InuYasha pushed himself from the counter and started to walk out of the kitchen.

"I already told you," He said and turned, "I am going to go talk to her."

His friend let out a madman like laughter, "You must be crazy if you think Sango will let you even ten feet of the girl, she's guarding her worst then any dog I've ever seen. No offense."

"Keh, none taken. I don't give a fuck though. I am going in there and she can't stop me." InuYasha marched out of the room and aimed straight for Sango's sleeping chambers.

Within seconds he was inside, closing the door behind him. The figure on the bed stirred but didn't wake when he moved closer. Not knowing why, InuYasha reached and turned on the light on the night stand. What he saw made him gasp for air as guilt washed over him once again. Kagome was laying on her back with the covers all the way up to her chin. Her face was pale and dried tears, streaked her cheeks. The lines of her eyelids were deep red and it looked like she had added more makeup, as the old one had been washed away. But he knew it was from crying, this was the way his mother had looked the last years of her living. A walking talking shell of her former self.

He sat on the other side of the bed and just watched his roommate sleep for a little while. Even through her broken appearance she was beautiful. Why did life play such cruel games? Why was she a priestess? Why couldn't she be a normal girl? He shook his head, so many questions and so few answers. Just for once he wanted to be himself no spells hiding him, and no fear of being purified. He wanted to like that with her, with Kagome.

Getting off the bed, InuYasha locked the bedroom door before facing the girl he liked. "This is for you Kagome," He whispered. "For a few precious moments I want to be hanyou in your presence." Closing his eyes, InuYasha allowed the spell to drop. He could feel his claws, hair and teeth growing. His fussy ears tickled as they rose from his scalp, and all his senses went into overdrive.

InuYasha was so deep in his own world that he never noticed the girls breathing pattern change and she cracked her eyes open just in time to see him reveal himself right in front of her.

To be continued.

Lol, man I am so sorry. :p I'll update faster this time, *promises*
