Hell Hath No Fury
Dear Kagome,
You know I love you, as both lover and best friend. We with our children and husbands will always be one big, happy family. But I am sorry, I just can't continue our play time anymore. You are a fantastic lover, but it is just not working. Our horny husbands are always trying to get in on the action.
So, I have come to a decision. I am not even going to try and get around InuYasha and Miroku to have you alone anymore. On our nights once a month when the kids go to Kaede, the four of us will have our fun. I will not hold back when we are all together, our couples play is an important part of our poly amorous family life-style. But you will not be seeing me for our sexy time anymore.
Love,
Sango

Her brow creased in confusion, Kagome crumpled the letter in her hands. This just did not make any sense! What about last Saturday night? Sango had been passionate as ever, even when Miroku found them and horned in on the action. Looking at the letter again, she rubbed her chin, suddenly suspicious.
“Kids, I am going next door to see Aunt Sango a minute,” Kagome called as the mat door swung and she stepped out.
Marching up to her best friend and poly amorous family partners house, Kagome walked right inside. Two kids were playing in the front room.
“Mama, Auntie Kagome is here!” They cried, and ran up to hug her.
Smiling, Kagome put her arms around them as they hugged her waist. Sango walked into the room with her two year old daughter on her hip. She smiled at first, but could tell by her friends distracted air that something was up.
“Boys, why don't you take Keiko and go play at Auntie Kagome's house a minute,” Sango said, putting down the toddler.
The two women waited while the children held hands and laughing ran out the door. Kagome held up the letter, and Sango looked at it curiously. Her expression made Kagome even more suspicious, and she pursed her lips.
“You seen this before?” Kagome said.
“Why, should I have?” Sango said.
Nodding to herself, Kagome showed Sango the letter. The former demon slayers eyes bugged out, her jaw dropping as she read the letter. Then two pink spots appeared on her face, one on either cheek. She put it down, crinkling it in her hands in exasperation.
“Kagome, I didn't -.” Sango started to say.
“I had a feeling you didn't write it,” Kagome interrupted. “Thanks for confirming it.”
“So question is…just who wrote this?” Sango said, quirking an eyebrow and folding her arms.
It did not take too much imagination for the two women to figure out what was going on. They looked at the letter together one more time, and then looked up at each other simultaneously. Their eyes met, and they knew they were having the same thoughts.
“Miroku…” Sango said darkly.
“And InuYasha,” Kagome said nodding.

At the back of the house, the hanyou crouched, his ears pricked forward to listen to what Kagome and Sango were saying. Next to him, Miroku waited, eager to hear what was going on. Suddenly InuYasha flushed and stood up.
“What happened?” Miroku said.
“They figured it out,” InuYasha answered.
“How are they acting about it…” Miroku said, his voice laced with uncertainty.
“Does Sango still have Hiraikotsu in the house?” InuYasha answered darkly, crossing his arms and pressing his mouth in a thin line.
“MIROKU!”
The scream from Sango that pierced the air made both men cringe, and InuYasha's ears flattened to his head. The monk gave InuYasha a worried, wild look.
“Better jump on my back Miroku and let's get the hell outta here!”
InuYasha grunted as a panicked Miroku leaped on to his back, and they bolted out of there like a demon was after them. Hell hath no fury like….an angry ex-demon slayer who had been used to play a trick on her best friend!
