Rules of Enmity
Falling Wrongly
Inuyasha had gone to a nearby waterfall to wash off the scent of the girl. He dipped his head in the water, hoping to remove the scent but...somehow, he still smelled her on him. In his skin, in his hair, in his blood...Even that slice on his rib was still there. He thought it would have healed by now, but it hadn't. So he assumed the dagger she used was magical or poisoned.
He remembered the look in her eyes. That innocence...that pure hatred as he thrust himself in and out of her... Every time he blinked, he saw her exhausted body; the exhausted body that he continuously forced into his submission.
He came to make her fall quickly and easily, to make her submit to him, but instead, he came upon a difficult young girl, running and attacking him with what weapons she had though she had been previously unprepared.
In the end, he did make her submit to him, but it had to result in a rape...was it really a rape? He seemed to have pleasured the girl.
Still, he smirked...he shamed the girl, defiled her. What was worse was that she was a virgin. The thought of him inside her would always remain in her mind. She'd feel dirty and scrub herself the way he was, but would always feel him. Plus he was a youkai--well half a youkai--but a youkai nonetheless. His blood flowed inside her now and forever.
So he did burden her. He burdened her with his presence. He smiled. That was the way he wanted it to be.
Inuyasha was forced to leave his thoughts when he heard the familiar voice of a man behind him.
"I see you failed on your first try. You did not retrieve the shikon jewel did you?" his master asked.
Inuyasha despised him with a passion, so he didn't answer just to spite him. His master felt the hostility and attacked him with a tentacled arm. Inuyasha cried out, grasping the back of his shoulder where a large patch of grazed skin appeared rough and bloody.
"No, I don't have the fucking jewel. Just go away. I'll get it," Inuyasha replied, dipping himself into the water once more. He looked up and noticed that his master was right in front of him. He grasped his neck with his massive hand that seemed to press the life out of his body.
"I will let this one slip...but remember, you only have three tries left. This was like a trial run for you..." He released him. Inuyasha coughed and sputtered blood. "You know Inuyasha, you disappoint me. The girl was already unprepared yet you didn't return with the jewel. What did you do with her?"
"I gave her what she deserved," he said gruffly.
"It's one thing to punish these useless creatures, it's another to punish them for a soul purpose. Your purpose was to return with the jewel, not delve in punishing them," his master scolded.
"Fuck you Naraku. The damn bitch didn't even know what the shikon no tama was," Inuyasha answered, brashly.
His master smirked. "You still have such a mouth on you Inuyasha. You shouldn't speak to me that way. I have what you want," Naraku replied coolly. Inuyasha looked up at him.
It was true. Naraku held the key to what he wanted the most. Still...it was sort of ridiculous to sell his soul to Naraku just to...to...
To see her once more...
__________
"Kagome! Where are you? It's time for breakfast!" came a familiar voice in the forest.
Kagome hurriedly gathered her kimono and fixed her hair. She didn't want anyone to suspect anything. Of course...one person who would know instantly was Kouga. Kagome knew that as soon as he smelled her scent, he would find that something was different. He was a youkai. He would soon find out that she was no longer a virgin.
She put on her best smile when she saw her friend Sango looking straight at her with a look of confusion.
"Where were you? I've been calling for the past five minutes! I thought something might have happened to you."
"Gomen ne! I found a really nice hot spring and...and I guess I just lost track of time. I'm sorry!" Kagome replied. Sango smiled.
"Don't worry. Just as long as you're not hurt. You don't know what's around the forest."
"Yeah..."
"Hey, Sango-san? Did you find Kago--" came a voice right behind Sango.
No, no, no!! Kagome thought in a panic.
It was Kouga.
"Kagome! What happened? We were calling you--"
"I know, Sango told me. I'm sorry. I...I was at a hot spring--" Kagome stopped. She was suddenly stung by the fear of lying to Kouga. She breathed deeply. If she could hide it with her voice, maybe he wouldn't notice her scent change. "I was at a hot spring and I lost track of time. That's all. Let's eat breakfast!"
Kagome walked ahead, followed by Sango who asked if she would bring her to the hot springs next time. Kouga cautiously followed behind.
Something was different about Kagome...
Kagome quickly changed before she went to breakfast and discarded the ripped and bloody kimono that Inuyasha had torn apart. As she exited her room, an arm grabbed her. Kagome looked up, afraid for a millisecond, thinking it was that boy....
Unfortunately, when she saw the figure, she wished it was that boy.
"Kouga-kun? What are you doing? Let go--"
"What happened?" Kouga asked harshly.
Kagome felt her heart beat faster and faster. She knew by the look in his face that there was no lying to him. Still...she was afraid...afraid of letting everyone know what had happened to her.
"What? I don't know what you're talking ab--"
"Don't lie!" Kouga shouted, tightening his grip on her.
"Kouga-kun! Stop, you're hurting me--"
"Who did this to you?" Kouga demanded, pulling her close to him as if to find the answer deep in her eyes. Kagome couldn't blink. She stared into his large, angry eyes and froze.
"I...I don't know...it was a youkai," Kagome found herself saying. "I was at the hot springs and I got attacked..."
"Why didn't you tell anyone?"
"I didn't want people to think anything--" Kagome began, averting his eyes.
"Kagome, you do understand that once you've been...um...defiled...no one would want to take you for a wife?"
Kagome stopped and looked up at him. Yes...that was exactly what she wanted. But then again...her family would disown her, the village would kick her out, she'd have nowhere to go...
"Yes, I understand--"
"Except me. If you marry me now then--"
"Kouga-kun! No, I can't..."
"Why?"
"Because...I'm not ready," Kagome said, swallowing hard. She was never going to be ready to marry.
Kouga released her. "Fine. When you're ready, you know I'll still want you Kagome," Kouga whispered before leaving the room.
Kagome sighed with relief. If she was lucky, she'd get enough money to leave this village and go to the city. Still, she was sorry because Kouga was her friend and she hated that he had this, sort of, crush on her.
She readied herself and walked out the door to help her mother prepare breakfast.
__________
Sango had sensed something strange in Kagome's voice as if she had been crying earlier. It was probably because of her father. She heard one of the girls in the village talking about how Kagome's father had left them for some woman. It's all right though. Kagome would get over it soon just like she got over her mother's death... She wasn't cruel or anything, it's just that she had to learn to take death and unhappiness as it was, just as her father had taught her.
She heard the sliding of her shoji door and assumed it was her brother coming to tell her to come out for breakfast.
"I'll be right out Kohaku," she answered without turning. She continued to wash the tea cups that her father and a guest used the night before. She was surprised to feel arms surround her waist. She dropped the cups and attempted to turn and face the stranger, but was unable as the arms tightened around her.
She heard a familiar whisper in her ear. "Hello lovely Sango-san. It's a pleasant morning, don't you think?"
Sango elbowed the man in the stomach and quickly turned as he staggered backwards.
"Why do you always attack when you know it's me?" the man asked hoarsely as he clutched his stomach in pain.
"Because Houshi-sama, you never warn me when you come," Sango replied sweetly.
"Why must you still call me Houshi-sama when we are alone?" he asked.
"Because it is your title Houshi-sama," Sango said as she walked up to him. He smiled and lifted her over to the wall, kissing her mouth gently as he hiked up the skirts of her kimono. Sango slapped his hands away.
"What is it Sango?" Miroku asked, his mouth still against hers.
"What if my father catches us? I'll be kicked out of the village and you'll be punished for being with a woman," Sango replied, kissing him gently.
"Then we just have to be discreet. Besides, your father is out helping Higurashi-san with breakfast. No one's going to bother us," Miroku whispered as he proceeded to kiss her again. She wrapped her arms around him as he opened the front of his robes. She breathed deeply as she watched him. He smiled mischieviously at her. "Why do you watch me?"
"Because I love your body," Sango answered, grasping his taut shaft. Miroku groaned inwardly as she stroked his length, staring into his eyes all the while. He continued his unconscious moaning as he began to move against Sango's hand. Sango gave a small chuckle as she gazed at him. He let out a deep groan as Sango pushed his manhood then stroked it relentlessly, taunting him to no end. She watched as he came on her hand, washing her hand with his semen.
"And I love yours my taijiya," he breathed, carefully taking her hands away from him and pulling down her undergarments. "Tonight I'll come to your room and we will do this properly."
"Hai...Houshi-sama," Sango whispered harshly as she pressed her lips against his. He closed his eyes as he kissed her aggressively, thrusting his tongue into her mouth as she moaned against him. He moved his hands into her robe, stroking her left breast softly. "I love you," she said softly as she pulled her mouth away from his.
"And I you," he answered, lifting her legs around his hips as he pushed himself into her. Sango moaned softly, twining her hands tightly around his neck. "Scream for me Sango."
"No...I can't..."
He pushed harder, his body moving in a circular motion allowing his manhood to rub her clit. Sango cried out but bit her bottom lip to stop herself from screaming.
"Miroku--"
Miroku smirked as he pulled out of her then pushed back in just to tease her. Sango tightened her thighs around his hips as the friction heated their bodies to no end. Sango began to let out a scream but Miroku quickly silenced her as his lips rested against hers in a fervent kiss. Their tonges twined in a mess of muscle and saliva. She whimpered and groaned when she felt him come into her forcefully. Her dark eyes widened and her hips bucked as their bodies convulsed at each other's climax. Some of him sprayed onto the tatami mats and dripped down Sango's leg but they were too caught up at the moment to notice. Sango lifted her body as she strained to keep him inside her. Miroku felt his eyes roll back from the obvious pleasure that caused them to feel drugged with each other. Sango cried out and brought her face against his neck to silence herself. He moaned harshly against her, pulling her hips against his until the pleasure subsided.
The two panted as Miroku slowly put her down, removing himself from inside her. Sango felt the liquid under her foot and looked down.
"What..." she began. She looked up at the monk. "Miroku!"
The houshi grinned sheepishly. "I couldn't help it. We weren't in the right position love," he answered as he pulled her close, kissing her bruised mouth. She kissed him back, allowing her tongue to roam his mouth as he pulled her hips against his once more.
"Please...don't start again..." Sango begged as she felt Miroku become hard between her legs. He nodded in agreement and pulled away from her.
Sango took a towel from the line outside and wiped the tatami mats. Miroku quickly cleaned himself up and tied his robe tightly. He knelt down and picked up Sango's undergarments.
"Don't forget these."
Sango snatched it away from him, giving him a mockingly angry look, and handed him the towel. "Clean this please while I go change," she said as she walked into another room. Miroku chuckled softly then watched as she left the kitchen and shut the sliding door behind her. Through the thin shoji paper he could see her silhouette discarding the moist clothes, the curves of her breasts and hips visible to anyone in the room. He gulped. Sango was merely a child, not even 17, and here he was putting her entire life in danger. He silently began cleaning the mess on the mats.
No, their romance would eventually end tragically if they didn't stop soon, he knew. Things like this could never continue between two people unless it were a story in a fairytale. Unfortunately, it wasn't.
Miroku remembered the first time he met Sango. She had been fighting a horrible, destructive youkai that came to their small village. She had driven it into the forest where it attacked her maliciously. He had been walking to her village to tend to a little boy who had caught the flu. Miroku had been in the way of the youkai and instantly became prey to it. Sango had been there and destroyed the youkai with one swipe of her Hiraikotsu before it could kill him. She was injured and quickly fell to the ground, the poison in her leg burning her skin to no end.
He became frozen as he thought of how shockingly brave this beautiful girl was. Then he quickly helped the demon exterminator and healed the wound in her leg with some herbs he brought with him. After that encounter, he befriended her, learning that she was one of the guardians of a small town east of Tokyo. During their frustrating friendship, he continuously tried to flirt with her just for fun. Unfortunately, she wasn't easily amused and would cause him great physical pain every time he attempted to touch any part of her body.
He remembered her calling him a lecher and storming away from him after he would touch her "accidentally", but in reality, she liked the attention she was getting from this handsome monk (though he didn't know.)
Then, on the day after her 15th birthday, he told them that tonight, he would be returning to his monastary though the villagers and a lot of the young girls insisted that he stayed. Sango hadn't been there at his good-bye celebration, saying how it was ridiculous and a stupid, lecherous monk like him should just leave.
Of course that broke him, but he wouldn't admit that he fell in love with her because that would only break the rules taught at his monastary. But then, as he got on his horse on that rainy night, he heard a voice calling him. He turned and found Sango running after him, her clothes wet and her hair a disheveled mess. He called for her to climb onto his horse and they went the opposite direction of the monastary.
They found a small inn where they stayed the night and...where Sango asked him to take her. He was reluctant, refusing a couple times only because he was afraid of hurting her; the only girl he had ever had feelings for. Still, she had been persistent and overpowering, seducing him until finally, he submitted to her, allowing himself to make love to her until her body was exhausted and numb.
"Done!" Sango said as she walked out of the room, snapping Miroku out of his thoughts. "Wasn't that quick? Well, we should go out before anyone suspects anything."
Miroku nodded in agreement and washed the towel he had used to clean the tatami mats. He squeezed the water out of it and set it down, following Sango outside.
A/N: That's all folks! Don't forget to tell me what you think!
