CHAPTER 7

Hakudoshi, Kanna, Kohaku, and Kagome went to the back courtyard and to a small shrine. "Hakudoshi why are we hiding?" Hakudoshi looked at Kohaku with a weird expresion and turned around to open the door. "We are not hiding, I just need ot do something really quick. you guys stand guard out here." Hakudoshi walked inside and closed the door behind him. "Is he going to get his weapon from inside that shrine?" Kagome walked to Kanna an she looked up at Kagome. "Yes we have to get anything we can to defeat Inuyasha and his followers." Kagome looked at the door and it opened as Hakudoshi walked out with a sithe too big for his small size. "Are we ready Kohaku?" Kohaku nodded and Hakudoshi walked forward. "well then, lets get going." Kagome, Kohaku, and Kanna followed Hakudoshi to where Inuyasha was along with Sango Miroku and Kilala.

INUYASHA

"Inuyasha, I sence a strong demonic aura. Its not Kagome's, her's does not have thsi much evil in it. I can't tell who's it is." Inuyasha unsheethed tetsusiga, he smelled Hakudoshi, Kohaku, and Kanna. He smelled Kagome's scent the most.

"Get ready you guys its Hakudoshi and his little group, Kagome is with them too." Miroku and Sango followed Inuyasha. They all stopped when they ran into Hakudoshi and his group. "well, well, well, if ti isn't little Hakudoshi and kanna." Hakudoshi smiled and stepped forward. "silence half-breed, Naraku has sent me and Kanna to help Kohaku and Kagome end your pathetic lives. I suggest you get ready to die." Hakudoshi jumped up in the air and swung his blade at Inuyasha. Inuyasha held up tetsusiga and stopped Hakudoshi from slicing him. "come on Inuyasha, stop strugleing, it will make it harder fro me to kill you." Hakudoshi started to push Inuyasha back and he clawed his feet to the ground but it didint' work. "Now die." Hakudoshi put all of his force into his attack and ti blew Inuyasha to the other side fo the courtyard. "Is that all you got half-breed? You didin't really put up a figh." Hakudoshi walked to Inuyasha and stood infront of his body on the floor. "I don't think Kagome and Kohaku need you pathetic fools." Hakudoshi turned around and started walking away.

"Oh no you don't, Im never going to fight my own friends. I want to take you on Hakudoshi." Inuyasha got on his feet and pointed tetsusiga at Hakudoshi. "WIND SCAR!!!" The wind scar went straight for Hakudoshi, but a ball formed around him and blocked Inuyasha's attack. "Inuyasha, that barrier, the wind scar can't get through!" Suddenly out of nowhere, a sacred arrow flew through the air and hit Hakudoshi's barrier. It pushed through his barrier and was beggining to pierce through Hakudoshi, but he got out of the way in time. "Kagome, what in hell are you doing?!" Inuyasha looked over at Kagome and she was on her knees breathing hard and tears were coming from her eyes. "Inu...yasha.....AHHHHH!!!" Kagome held her hands to her head and looked in pain. The jewel was becoming very evil and it was messing with Kagome's head. "Kagome!" Inuyasha ran to Kagome and held her in his arms. tears went down her cheeks and she fainted. "Kagome..." Inuyasha tapped Kagome lightly on her cheek. "Kagome..." She wouldn't answer, but tears kept falling from her eyes and down her cheeks.

KAGOME'S DREAM

In uyasha was kissing kikyo and Kagome was standing behind a tree. "why?...I thought...how could he do this to me. I gave everything to him, and he thanks me by betraying me and breaking his promise of not seeing kikyo anymore." Inuyasha pushed kikyo away and looked over to where Kagome was. "Kagome?...Is that you behind the tree?" Kagome walked to Inuyasha and Kikyo walked infront of Inuyasha stopping Kagome in her tracks. "Oh..Kagome. Inuyasha has decided to join me in hell and I shall take him with me as I have wished to do many times. This will be the last time you see Inuyasha. ongs with me forever." Kikyo's soul collectors wrapped themselves around Kagome and pulled her to a tree infront of Inuyasha and Kikyo. "I will take Inuyasha with me to the pits of hell. He hes chosen me over your pathetic self."

Kagome struggled to get free, but the soul collectors would tighten their grip every time. "INUYASHA...NO!!!!!" Kagome screamed, but Inuyasha ignored her and kissed kikyo.

Wind started swirling around Inuyasha and Kikyo and they started sinking into a portal bellow them which led to hell. "INUYASHA...........INUYASHA...............INU.......INUYAS HAAAA!!!" Inuyasha kept kissing Kikyo and they were about to disappear completely. Kagome couldn't break free and watched as her only true love left her forever without saying goodbye. After a few minutes they were compleately gone and the soul collectors disappeared. Kagome crawled to the spot where he last standed and stared at the floor, tears falling from her eyes to the ground. "Inu...yasha.........INUYASHAAA!!!'' Kagome cried for Inuyasha to come back. but she knew he could never come back and she would not see him anymore.

END OF KAGOME'S DREAM

Kagome was shedding tears and calling for Inuyasha repeatedly. "Kagome i'm right here. Don't cry." Kagome shook her head and kept crying. "Inuyasha....Inuyasha......why did you....leave me?" Inuyasha Widened his eyes at Kagome's words. 'Naraku is makeing her have illusions of me leaveing her? Kagome is having illusions of Kikyo, I know she is afraid of that to happen.' Inuyasha shook Kagome lightly to try to wake her up, but it wouldn't work.

"Inuyasha, watch out!" Inuyasha looked up and saw Hakudoshi chrging for an attack. Inuyasha picked Kagome up bridal style and dodged Hakudoshi's attack. "HIRAIKOTSU!" Sango threw the big boomerang and Hakudoshi jumped out of the way. "Inuyasha why won't Kagome wake up?" Inuyasha looked at Kagome then at miroku. "I don't know. I think it's the jewel being controled by Naraku that it's messing with Kagome's head." Inuyasha looked at Kagome who looked sad and she was still crying in her sleep. 'What am I going to do? She can't wake up even if she tried.'

KAGOME'S DREAM

"Inuyasha....come back, I need you here, with me. I love you with all of my heart. Why did you leave?" Kagome got up on her feet and walked to the sacred tree. She put her hand where the hole was where Kikyo pinned Inuyasha 50 years ago and where she freed Inuyasha and first met him. "This is where I first met Inuyasha, this is the place. I could still remember when I first laid eyes on him and felt his fuzzy little ears. Hmm....we spent to much time together that i've actually have fallen in love with someone from the past. I can't forget about him ever, I just can't." Kagome lowered her head and cried. tears fell and landed on the roots of the large tree. "Inuyasha,,,I wan't to go with you, but will you be there waiting for me?" Kagome sat on one of the large roots sticking out of the ground. "Inuyasha.." Kagome looked at the ground and remembered all the good times with Inuyasha.

END OF KAGOME'S DREAM

"Kagome....please you have to wake up." Inuyasha looked at Kagome's wet eyelashes and he lowered his ears to his head. ' Man did I mess up this time. I should start listening to her when she says don't go after Kikyo. It's all because of her and she's not gonna do anyhting to help out.' Kagome's eyes suddenly opened wide and she gasped for air. "Kagome......yes, thank kami your awake." Kagome looked dizzy and she was breathing long deep breaths. "Huh?.....Ahhh, get away from me!" Kagome pushed Inuyasha away from her and ran to Hakudoshi and the rest of his group. "What's wrong Kagome? It's me Inuyasha. Don't you remember?...'She still has the jewel taking over her mind'

Inuyasha walked to Kagome ignoring Hakudoshi and the others. "Stay away from me!'' Inuyasha got to her and took her in his arms in a very tight embrace. "Kagome..." She didin't do anything to stop him and she hugged him back. "What, Kagome, what are you doing?" Hakudoshi was confused at Kagome's behavior.

"I think she is doing the same thing Kohaku does when he remembers you Sango." Sango looked at Kagome then at Kohaku. 'He's right, anytime now she will be controled by Naraku again and run away or even fight him.' Sango looked at Inuyasha and Kagome hugging eachother.

"Inuyasha.....save me....i'm sorry i caused so much trouble." Inuyasha pulled away from Kagome and looked into her teary eyes. "Like I said, I will protect you, even if it kills me I won't let anyone hurt you. That's why, i'm gonna kill Naraku and we can finally live in peace together." Inuyasha saw that Kagome was putting on an act to try and distract him and he punched the crown she had and he broke the ruby in the middle. "What? What did he do?" Kagome pulled back and jumped back and landed a few feet away from Inuyasha. The crown cracked and it completely fell from Kagome's head. "I don't need that, I'll fight you even if it kills me!"

"I'm sorry Kagome. If this is the only way to stop you, I have to do it." Inuyasha ran to kagome and punched her in the stomach. She fell to the floor and spit out blood. "Inuyasha go easy on her. That's still Kagome." Inuyasha landed infront of Kagome and took her hand. " I know, but she is so sensitive she'll bleed easily." Inuyasha cleaned the blood from her mouth and swept hair from her face. "Kagome are you ok?' She moaned in pain and held on to her stomach. "hmm...my stomach."

Inuyasha picked Kagome up and took he rot a tree to lay her down. "At least we can do something to breack the spell without getting killed." Inuyasha nodded and rubbed Kagome's forehead. He turned around and saw that the others were gone. Now he could take care of Kagome. "So...How are we going to take out the jewel that's controling her?" miroku scratched the back of his head. "You know, I didin't even think of that. Now whar?'' Inuyasha looked at Kagome then at miroku. "Isn't there someone that can help us take it out without ripping her forehead open?'

Sango looked thoughtful and then turned around to look at Inuyasha. "There is someone, her name is Hyomi. She si a specialist in breaking spells. Maybe she can help us somehow." Inuyasha picked Kagome up bridal style. "Well then lets go. We don't have time to sit around and talk about these things." Miroku and Sango nodded and climbed on Kirara. "Sango, were is this Hyomi you say?"
"She lives in the outskirts of our village near a mountain called Zuyo." Inuyasha nodded and they headed towards Sango's home village to find lady Hyomi.
