Recap - “Holy fuckin’ Kami!” Koga said out loud. Sesshomaru nodded then said, “They truly are what Dijin said. They need to learn their places.” Koga turned to Sesshomaru and said happily “Maybe we should teach them. Besides we really should return their daggers,” Sesshomaru got a cunning look in his eye as he nodded in reply. They headed out in the direction they saw the females head before the daggers came at them, and their strange disappearing act.

On with Ch. TWO

“You do realize that we kinda let them have an idea of where we’re going right?” Rainoa said. She looks over to Amilla who just nodded in agreement. *Sigh* ‘I wonder what’s wrong she never blocks me out. I can’t believe that was Sesshomaru and Koga. *Giggles* I remember at those baka formal parties and events and how we were the only females they would hang out with, and only because we weren’t gonna strip or any other crap just because they said to. *giggles* I wonder if they even remember? That was 200-300 years ago. *sigh* I doubt they knew we wanted to be more then friends. Me and Sess, Ami and Kog. Like it would have worked, Sess liked Ami I’m sure of it, and Kog well he’s just Kog. Though I have to admit he did look pretty damn hot…I wonder what was under that chest plate? Wait! What?! Oh my Kami I’m having images I shouldn’t have.’ Amilla was thinking along the same lines. ‘Me and Kog, Rain and Sess; never gonna happen, Kog liked Rain no doubt on that, and Sess… well he’s Sess…Hmm sometimes I wonder about him. I still like his tail; I wonder how fluffy it is! *giggles* He’d so kill me for that. *giggles more*. I think that from now on I’m calling him “Fluffy”!’ “Umm, Ami…Ami…AMILLA!” Rain yelled. “What?!?” Ami jumped. “We’re near a hot spring and the closest aura is about a mile or so away and human, do you want to bathe? We need to get the blood from those soldiers off us.” Rain asked. Amilla nodded and followed her friend/sister.

The girls washed their clothes and their weapons. Rainoa scanned her weapon when she was done. A samurai sword with both edges sharpened; it was a good 4½ feet without hilt. She also carried 3 daggers two (which she threw at Koga) were about 6in; 9½-10in with hilt, the other was 12in, 16-17in with hilt. The 2 small ones were just normal daggers made out of a single fang blue leather rapped around the hilts and a blue gem that looked like four fused together. The large dagger had Youkai runes going down it that meant ‘My Soul’. It had a semi-large clear stone with blue tint and a rune meaning ‘My Will’ at the end of the hilt. It also had the blue leather wrapped around the hilt again with runes this time saying ‘shall be’. It said all together ‘my soul shall be my will’ only she and Ami knew what it really meant. You can turn it either way and it is still true. Rain’s will was powered by her soul and visa versa. Her sword had the same jewel and hilt set up but the Youkai runes were different. They said ‘I will walk, stand, and fight (on the blade) with my (on hilt) power (in stone). It was a tradition that she gives the large 9in dagger to her child that held her element mark for it helps keep the power under control. Besides her blades she also had a bow; it was made of wood from a youkai tree with slate gray metal twisted down it, the wood is a deep blue-black. The string was made of, metal like, spider thread that could never break. Her arrows she made with her youki. She also used sherikan’s with spells on them for killing or disabling an enemy. (A/N- throwing stars)

Amilla on the other hand had many types of weapons, swords, only two star swords, (A/N AY- there are larger version of sai. The thing with 2 shorter side blades and a long one in the middle. They have another name I just don’t know it) at least a dozen daggers of all sizes, Kunai (the small throwing blades you can also use in close fighting with), pretty much anything with a blade minus spear, lances, axes. She did NOT carry all these weapons she could create them using her youki as could Rainoa. The only weapons she carried were her star swords, 2 daggers, and a sword. Her daggers (which she threw at Sess) are about 6in blade with 3½-4in hilt, they were plain daggers minus the gems in the hilt. Her star swords had black-red leather wrapped around the hilt; a semi-large blood ruby at its bottom and looked like a claw was holding it. They also had youkai runes on all three blade parts; the one she wore on the left side said ‘Light of Soul (L) Shadow of Heart (mid) Dark of Will (R)’ meaning she kept a good soul, a heart that knows good and bad but it is neither, and a will that will do “anything” to protect her family and friends even if it was “dark”. The other said ‘Remember Then (L) Live Now (mid) Believe Tomorrow (R)’ meaning remember all that has happened, live in the now and do what you can, believe that you will see and live tomorrow and make it better. Truth be told not even Rain had seen her use them. The sword too had runes on the black blade they read ‘I will never be light nor dark’ on the red leather hilt it read ‘I will remain’ and in the clear stone with violet-red tint it read ‘In Shadows’. In short it meant that she was neutral, she really doesn’t care if you’re good or evil as long as you don’t mess with someone or something that she cares about, and that in its self was a hard feat.

After they finished cleaning their weapons they sat in the springs cleaning themselves off. They sat there talking about where to go next. “I still say we leave Japan. It would be the easiest, I mean how could they find us if we head to China and went to other countries over there?” Amilla said. “Yea ok, I admit it would be the easiest but Dymon won’t destroy Japan as long as we’re here.” Rain said. “Does that mean you are actually going to try to find a mate? I thought we both agreed if we couldn’t have who we wanted we wouldn’t mate?” Ami ask. “No, I’m not gonna try and find a mate…” Rain started. “But… you want us to fight against that ‘thing’ and then find K & S. Right?” Ami stated. Rain nodded and Ami sighed ‘I’m not sure if I still want Koga or not, I mean he’s more like a bother to me now anyways.’ Ami sighed again. “How bout this we’ll try to find somebody willing to help us, whether or not we can we’ll still try to fight just not with force but with cunning. Lets say 15 days we try this if not well then we got 5 days of freedom or 5 days to find a mate.” Ami stated, at the last part each female thought of the male that took their hearts yet that image changed to another, the one their sister liked.

When the girls got out of the hot spring they noticed laying on their clothes were the daggers they threw at the males. “Kami fuckin’ damnit!” Ami half yelled. “How the fuck did they manage to sneak up this far without us noticing?” Rain asks as she started dressing. Ami started thinking about that, she and Rain come to the same conclusion. “Damn Taiyoukai concealments.” They both stated. “Ok, so they got one up on us. Can’t believe we forgot what a Taiyoukai can do, considering we’ve been fleeing from one.” Rain stated. “I say we go find them and ‘play’.” Rain nodded at Ami idea. They started out till they found the males scent only to find that the males had spilt up; Koga towards some lake and Sesshomaru towards some caves. “I’ll take Sesshomaru, you take Koga.” Ami stated and before Rain could say a thing she added, “You have the advantage by the water; I’ll have it in the caves.” Rain slowly nodded. =Keep in touch. = /Same to you. / Then off they went to teach those impudent males a lesson.

With Rain and Koga

Rain came upon Koga as he finished dressing, “Well look what the lake spat out.” Rain said as she approached him. Koga was too busy watching the way her hips moved to retort. “What the fuck are you doing here?” He asked her trying very hard not to move toward her. He couldn’t keep his eyes off her. ‘Damn she filled out!’ he thought. Then she suddenly disappeared then he felt her aura behind him. He made no move to turn to face her. ‘What the fuck is wrong with me I wanna jump her right NOW?!?!’ He sniffed and realized that she was about a week from her heat and her body was calling for males to prove themselves to mate her. “Realized what’s going on yet?” she said as she walk around him dragging her hand across his back, side, and his chest. “So you’re near heat and it’s making it hard for males to concentrate, big deal.” He passed it off as nothing. “Wrong I was in heat about a week ago,” Koga stared at her in disbelief, “That asshole Dijin and that monster Dymon made my sister and I a deal if we could find a mate we wouldn’t have to mate with that creature. He put a spell on us that makes our bodies smell near heat so males will fight and we won’t be able to find a proper one.” She said this with such hate and sadness Koga’s control almost snapped. He wanted to find Dijin and slowly kill him. “Why?” He asked. “Because it was either us or his pup; he’s playing it as his pup is dead, but he hid her. Where, we don’t know.” Rain snarled with disdain.

Before Koga could comment a small bear youkai cub ran out of the forest towards them. He ran straight to Rain gripped her leg and started talking too fast for them to understand. Rain kneeled down and held the club hushing him. That’s when Koga smelt it blood, bear blood the scent was like the cubs; it had to be his parent’s blood. A man stepped out of the forest the cub quickly went behind Rain as she and Koga growled at him. “Wait a sec, that’s not a human!” Koga growled out. “No shit! Oi, kid go run, get out of here!” Rain yelled at the cub. “It's one of Dymon’s men.” Rain stated to Koga as she got into her battle stance. Koga also got ready to fight. Koga eyed the youkai; he was short he looked completely human except that his skin was a dark green, along with his hair. He donned a normal haori and hakama of light brown. He carried no weapons. As Koga was trying to figure this youkai out, the youkai attacked.

Koga figured out soon why these creatures were feared, they don’t die. So far Koga had put a hole in its side and leg, and ripped its jaw off yet the thing was sill moving like it had not been touched. Rainoa had several arrows put in it as well as daggers she had hidden. “Koga take his head off and keep it away from the body!” Rain yelled as she jumped away from the youkai creature. Koga just wanting this thing dead did as she said. Koga quickly came up behind the thing as it tried to attack Rain again, with a swipe of his claws he had the head and threw it into the lake.

About 20 min's later and after a lot of dodging the body stopped moving. Koga looked around, the place was covered in the youkai creatures’ blood, the grass in the area they fought was no longer green, the grass surrounding that patch too had blood covering it; the tree’s were splashed with it, and even to edge of the lake held evidence of blood. He looked over at Rain; she was sitting over by the water washing the blood that got on her off. “I’m afraid I no longer have time for you I have to get to my sister.” She said not even glancing at him. That’s when he noticed that she had a very deep gash in her leg that would take a day or two to heal. Rain nearly fell as she started to walk away, but two strong arms kept her from that fate. “Where is she? You can’t walk so I’ll take you there.” Koga said as he swept her off her feet and into his arms. “W-why? Why help me?” She asked forcing a blush back. “Because Dijin is an ass and you and Ami-Chan are old friends.” He smiled at the shock she showed. “You really remembered us? That wasn’t some trick by Dijin?” “Yes we both remember you both and no it wasn’t a trick by Dijin. I’ll talk to Sesshomaru I know he’ll help too, after all he isn’t much for Dijin either, and we both promised to protect you and your sister, well kinda.” He smirked remembering what he and Sesshomaru promised. “Promised??? You never promised us that.” Rain was beyond confused Koga remembered that means Sess has to remember which means… “You Tricked US!!!” she yelled making Koga flinch at the noise. “Just forget it for now and tell me what way to your Sis.” He half yelled trying to get his hearing back.

~*~*~*~*~*~*~Meanwhile w/ Sess and Ami~*~*~*~*~*~*~

Sesshomaru was sitting with his back against a tree at the edge of a clearing watching his young human ward torment his youkai imp vassal. The young girl, after putting makeup on the imp when he was sleeping, was now placing a flower crown, bracelet, and necklace on the imp. “Rin do you not think the white flowers to be better for Jaken?” Sesshomaru said lips twitching to smile but he held it off. “Of course Sesshomaru-sama!” the young girl Rin cheered as she ran around gathering white flowers for Jaken.

Sesshomaru abruptly stood “Jaken, Rin stand by Ah-Un.” Rin and Jaken quickly went to where the two headed ryu (dragon) stood at the edge of the clearing near their lord. “Come out and your death will be painless.” Sesshomaru commanded. “Hello Sesshomaru, I came to thank you for returning my daggers and to enquire if you liked the view of my sister and me at the hot spring?” Come a voice but not even Sesshomaru could tell from where. “Amilla come out.” Sesshomaru said relaxing a bit, ‘Amilla would never cause an incident with a child near, human or not.’ “WOW! Sesshomaru-sama look at the pretty lady!” Rin squealed in delight at the Inu/kit that walked toward them from the other side of the clearing. “Oh, what a cute little girl! Sessy she’s adorable.” Ami said as she looked over to Rin, she also missed the eyebrow raise at the nickname. “How dare to speak to the lord of the Western Lands that way!” Jaken squawked. “Jaken be quiet.” Sesshomaru commanded. “Unless the toad’s helpful I’d toss him back, though the makeup and flowers are a nice touch.” Ami and Rin both giggled while Sesshomaru lips twitched toward a smile. Jaken was about to retort but a sharp glace from Sesshomaru stopped it in his throat. “Sesshomaru why don’t we talk in private?” Ami said becoming serious, the saver change unnerved him. After a quick command to Jaken, Sesshomaru followed Ami away from the clearing.

“I already know you know you really remember me and Rain and that Dijin didn’t get you to try to trick us. Rain told me, she and Koga are coming here. It might take awhile, they were attacked by one of Dymon’s men.” Sesshomaru nodded his understanding “So while we wait there are a few things I’d like to tell you.” Sesshomaru nodded and Ami proceeded to tell him what Rain had already told Koga. After the explanations Sesshomaru sat beneath a tree to watch his ward, two headed ryu, and the female Inu/Kit play circles around his imp vassal. Soon Ami had settled Rin down and was braiding flowers into the girl’s hair, and when she was finished Rin showed it off to Sesshomaru, “Yes I see Rin.” “Isn’t Rin’s hair pretty?” Rin said spinning around. “Yes Rin.” Sesshomaru said. He watched as the girl ran back to Ami and started to play with her hair. ‘She will make a great mother to Rin if Koga’s and my plan work.’ Sesshomaru smiled at the thought. “Ami how long till your sister and Koga get here?” Sesshomaru asked. “They’re about a half a day away and my sis is hurt so it might take longer. Why?” Ami asked tilting her head to the side waiting for an answer. ‘She will be mine!’ Sesshomaru thought as he looked upon the female in front of him, then he answered “When Rin has finished your hair we will head out to meet them. Then we’ll decide what to do from there.” “Tay.” Ami said then started to chat with Rin again.

Ami and Sesshomaru set out soon after Rin could no longer think of ways to add flowers to Ami's hair. Sesshomaru watched Ami as she sat behind Rin on Ah-un chatting with the girl. He finally he decided that it was safe to look her over; she was wearing different clothes; her top tied at the back of her neck and had 2 chains hanging down to the small of her back, as the 2 straps that tied behind her neck came down and crossed over her chest, making a ‘V’, then wrapped around her back just below her shoulder blades. As far as he could tell it was one long cloth for it only tied behind her neck. The top was a sliver-red with a crystal blue stitching that seemed as random as lightning. Her dark blue-red miko like hamaka’s sat low on her hips with a silver sash, the knot was tied at her side with the ends of the sash hanging down just past her knees, her hamaka’s and sash had the same stitching. Her hair was down except for a small braid over her right shoulder the hang down to her hip, her long bangs were held, back by two white flowers, to blend in with the rest of her hair. The red, pink, blue, and purple flowers in the rest of her black, crimson highlighted, hair seemed to make a pattern seen but unseen. Sesshomaru snapped back to reality when she jumped off Ah-Un.

"Rainoa! Oh Kami! Who did this?! When I find them I’m going to sli….” Rainoa cut her off, “Ami stop the thing’s dead, and it’s not that bad.” Rain realized her mistake the second Ami lock eyes with her. Before Ami could yell Sesshomaru stepped in. “I can heal her, move aside.” Sesshomaru pulled out the Tenseiga and slashed before they could say a thing. “Wow Fluffy-sama that awesome!” Ami squealed as she looked over where her sister had been hurt. She failed to notice Sesshomaru’s twitching eyebrow and the snickering Koga and Rain were trying to hide.


A/N well I’m going to end this for now I’m going on summer vaca to my grandma’s so I might not update till fall. Sorry!!!!
