Chapter 12

Together

Kagome got home the next day and checked her messages. Naraku wanted to meet for lunch. She got dressed and went to the diner to meet him. It was the same diner she ate at with her friends. Now she had the chance to tell Naraku about the project.

She was not going to like his reaction after she told him. She grabbed her coat and locked up her apartment. As she was walking she thought about Inuyasha. She felt so bad about having to break up with him. She liked him a lot.

As she thought about it she realized she loved him. Even though she only knew him for a short time. She couldn't help it. He made her feel safe. He made her feel precious and loved. What was she going to do?

She walked in the diner and looked around. Naraku was already sitting in a booth waiting for her. As she walked over to him she noticed her friends in the back. She smiled and sat down in the booth.

"Did you have fun at your little sleep over?" Naraku asked.

"Hai." Kagome said.

"What did you do?"

"We went to the mall and watched some movies."

"That's good. You must have had fun you don't sound so depressed anymore."

They sat there for a couple of minutes. The waitress took their orders. They stayed silent until she came back for the food. Kagome gathered some courage and asked, "I'm not aloud to see Inuyasha?"

"No you're not." Naraku said.

"How long?"

"You are never to see him."

"I have a project I need to get done. I can't do it without him. He's my partner." Kagome said quietly.

"You may only see him to finish this project. After that no more. Don't try anything either. I can tell when you lie. Besides you know what happens when you disobey me." Naraku said.

"Hai." Kagome said. They didn't say anything after that. When Kagome got done eating, she told him she had to home and do some work. She walked home and sat on the couch.

She sat on the couch doing nothing for about an hour. The phone rang and she answered it. "Hello."

"Kagome?"

"Inuyasha!" She was so happy he called.

"Are you all right? Has that bastard tried to hurt you?"

"No I'm fine."

"Sango told me about the project thing. Did you ask him?"

"Hai, I'm only aloud to see you to finish the project. He said not to try anything because he'll know if I lie."

"Can I come over now?"

"Hai."

"I'll be there soon ja ne."

"Ja ne." Kagome hung up the phone. She was finally going to see Inuyasha. It was only to finish the project but she didn't care. She started to pick things up around the apartment. She hadn't cleaned it since she messed it up.

She had just got done cleaning the last of the mess when there was a knock on the door. She ran to the door and opened it. She let Inuyasha in. As soon as she shut the door he pushed her against the wall and kissed her.

Kagome was a little shocked to get pushed but she kissed him back. She missed him so much. She broke the kiss for air. "Gomen I didn't mean to push you against the door."

"It's ok." She said. They walked to the couch and sat down. "I guess we should work on the project."

"How can you think about school work at a time like this?" Inuyasha asked.

"What am I supposed to do?" Kagome started crying. "Do you think I enjoy this?"

Inuyasha hugged her. He couldn't stand it when she cried. "Gomen, I'm just mad. I want to kill him just for looking at you."

"What am I supposed to do?" Kagome asked. She held onto Inuyasha. She was afraid if she let go he would disappear.

"I don't know. We'll figure out something." Inuyasha said.

"I don't want anyone to get hurt. He'll hurt me if I don't do what he says." Kagome said. "I'd rather get hurt than see others in pain because of me."

"You won't get hurt I love you and I'll always protect you." Inuyasha said.

Kagome froze when she heard him say that. She looked at him. "You what?" She asked.

"I love you." He said again. Maybe he shouldn't have said anything.

"I love you too." Kagome hugged him again. Inuyasha would have jumped for joy if she weren't in his arms. He lifted her chin and kissed her. He was so happy.

As soon as his lips touched hers all was forgotten. She didn't care what would happen anymore. She was with the man she loved. She tilted her head back to deepen the kiss.

Inuyasha slowly lowered her down on the couch. He started kissing her neck. He wanted her to become his mate. He looked at her. "Kagome will you be my mate?"

"Hai." She said. She thought she'd died and gone to heaven. Inuyasha picked her up and carried her to the bedroom. He laid her down and kissed her. His hands went to the hem of her shirt. He could tell she was nervous.

"What's wrong? I can stop if you're not ready." He said.

"No I'm just nervous. It's my first time." Kagome said.

"You mean Naraku never…" He didn't want to finish the thought. "We'll talk later." He didn't want to ruin the moment.

Inuyasha kissed her neck and gently nipped it every once in a while. When she started to relax he lifted her shirt over her head. He moved to kiss her mouth. He used his claws to get rid of her bra.

He then gently massaged her breasts. He heard Kagome gasp. He smirked and kissed her neck and slowly made his way down to her breasts. He kissed and nipped at them until finally he took one in his mouth.

Kagome moaned and moved her hands to the top of his head and massaged his ears. Inuyasha kissed her on the lips. He pushed his tongue past her lips and explored her mouth.

His hands traveled to her waist. He unzipped her skirt and threw it to the side. He put his thumbs on each side of her underwear and cut it off. The torn underwear was thrown to the side along with the rest of her clothes.

Inuyasha pulled away from Kagome and took off his shirt. Kagome could only watch. He threw it to the side and took off his pants and boxers. He took a minute to gaze at the beautiful woman in front of him.

Kagome watched as Inuyasha undressed. His chest was flawless. He wasn't overly muscled but he wasn't scrawny either. She looked down when he took off his pants and blushed. She was as red as a tomato.

Inuyasha smirked and leaned over her. He leaned on his arms so he wouldn't crush her. He kissed her again and massaged her breasts. He wanted her to be relaxed before he entered her.

One of his hands traveled down her body. He wanted to check if she was ready. Kagome felt as his finger entered her. She moaned and arched her back. Inuyasha took his finger out of her and licked it clean. She was more than ready and she tasted good.

He leaned next to her ear. "This might hurt." He said. Kagome nodded. He kissed her once again and slowly entered her. He bit back a moan. He was having a hard time controlling himself.

"Gomen." He said and quickly thrusted into her. Kagome cried out. Inuyasha covered her mouth with his hoping it would take away the pain. He kissed her neck while she adjusted to him.

After a while Inuyasha gently moved in and out of her. He sped up a little when he heard Kagome moan. The pain started going away leaving her to feel nothing but pleasure. She wrapped her legs around Inuyasha's waist.

Kagome started rubbing his ears again. Inuyasha moved faster when he felt her fingers on his ears. Kagome started feeling something build up inside her. She felt as if she would explode soon.

Inuyasha kissed and licked her neck. He could feel her coming as her muscles tightened around him. He thrusted into her harder and faster. He was about to go over the edge.

Kagome felt like she would burst. She came when she felt Inuyasha bite down on her shoulder. She screamed his name and dug her nails into his back.

Inuyasha felt her muscles tighten around his as he bit her neck. As soon as he tasted her blood he came. He released inside of her. Unable to hold himself up anymore he rolled to the side and pulled Kagome with him.

He pulled out of her and laid her on his chest. He looked at Kagome. She had a glazed look in her eyes. He smiled and kissed her. "I love you Kagome."

"I love you too Inuyasha." Kagome said. Inuyasha wrapped a blanket around them and they both fell asleep.
