Tom: Here's chapter four and for some reason I don't feel like a commentary probably because I'm sitting here naked trying desperately to cool off here in my room with one window and no AC to help the process along. *Glares at the sun* get down below that horizon before I find a way up there and make sure you never come back up dammit! Oh hey Sly, why're you here?

"Ryu No Ai (Dragon's Love)"

Ryu came back to the waking world in an unexpected way, something had struck his nose and he heard Kagura. She was gasping out pleas for mercy and clutching her heart, only what he didn't know is that for her it was where her heart was supposed to be. He sat up and lifted Kagura by her shoulders and shook her frantically. "Kagura, Kagura, wake up!" Her eyes opened wide and she started struggling against him, claws biting into his forearms. "No, no get away from me, Naraku, please stop!" Ryu grunted as she broke his grip on her right shoulder and slashed at his chest, leaving four shallow cuts. He then pulled her close and pinned her arms between his chest and hers while stroking her hair tenderly. "Shhhh, no Kagura, it's Ryu. Naraku can't hurt you anymore I refuse to let that happen. It's all right, my lady, he can't hurt you here. It was just a nightmare." He murmured softly, planting soft kisses on the top of her head and hairline and rocking gently back and forth waiting for the fretful sobs to subside on their own, knowing that Naraku probably threatened her if she had wept while he ravaged her body with his own or else tools of torment. "It's okay, your tears may run freely now. I will do everything within my abilities to cure as much of that pain as I can." Kagura rested her head against his chest and felt his blood on her cheek. She pulled away and moved to use her sleeve to wipe some of it off and stop the flow when it was stopped by Ryu's hand. "It is nothing to concern yourself with Kagura, I'll be fine. my scars will never need anywhere near as much care as yours, and as I mentioned before I will do everything I can to help you." He slipped a claw under her chin and lifted her face to look at him. Her face suddenly became hot while gazing into his eyes and before either of them could consider the other's reaction, they met halfway in a deep, passionate kiss. Kagura moaned softly and parted her lips just enough that Ryu stuck his tongue into her mouth and was met with no protests or resistance but instead her own tongue slipped past his and they began to learn each other's taste and the cavern of their mouths. They sat like this for some time, Kagura being overwhelmed by the heat racing through her body and Ryu being amazed that there was a female that could spark his desires so deeply without considering whether she really cared about him. There was no doubt in his heart or mind that Kagura was to be his mate whether she was pure or not, she would be his and when he took her it would be a permanent claim.
